"Cute doesn't always make the guy," Remy remarked casually, contently nibbling at a loose bit of fingernail. "We are...just not in that way." She arched a brow as the girl disrobed. "And I wasn't following you. He was, I was merely following him to make sure he didn't do something stupid," added as she looked at the girl again.


At the girl's words, Remy pinched the bridge of her nose lightly; shaking her head. "Uh huh, you have quite a way with convincing words, don'cha?" Remy didn't buy it, perhaps Archer did but she didn't. This girl, Genesis knew something, but wasn't feeling charitable just yet with the information.


"Oh, goody gosh! Perhaps we could all go off and try to find the wizard too?!" Remy bellowed mockingly, clasping her hands together under her chin innocently. "We could get you a brain," she added, smacking Archer on the back roughly with a chuckle. "Mm, give her a chance. She may not seem like much," And might be a terrible liar, she thought, "but she may just be able to hold her own, eh? Maybe you can chew her ear out for a while and give mine a rest too."

In deed Andrew was not standing as Genisis' door because he had been pulled away by Mr. Hast who decided it would be good to chew him out of something he imagined Andrew might possibly do but had not done yet if ever. Andrew just would have gone straight home then but he had a few more hours of door guarding before that was possible. So he just ignored the scolding, imagining that he was at home instead, and made his way back to Genisis' room.

And he listed the rather short list of dangers in their venture, Genesis quickly swung her legs over the window sill, and stepped outside wearing her blue cha cha heels. "Oh, and you rather have me sit around and watch one of my fans head off into danger? I'm sure it'll be alright." Genesis smiled walking over to the boy. She held out her hand to him to held him up. "As I said, someone has to keep an eye on you." Whatever these bandits had, she was sure it wasn't anything too dangerous.

"Ah! So Remy is your name? Such a pretty name, I knew a girl named Remy back on Earth. She's a supermodel." Genesis noted casually, though her eyes quickly scanned down and up the woman. Remy couldn't definitely hide the exposed metallic parts off her skin, 'An android? Perhaps a cyborg?' She thought to herself before nodding her head toward ArcherThis would definitely have to be looked into further when she had the time. After all, it wasn't everyday one saw a robot befriend a boy like Archer. Right now, there were other matters to concern herself with.

Genesis turned to the robot again and giggled lightly at her reference. Once again, the robot proved to have a solid memory bank or at least a decent archive database. Time had been so fleeting upon the world, she was surprised if anyone understood that reference. "Well... Think of it this way! If you guys don't want me to come, then I'll just follow you like Archer did! So either way, you won't get rid of me that easily. Hehe..." She gave a sly wink at Archer. "So! Where to?"

Meryl drove towards the smaller town watching for signs that anyone had travelled in this way in the last few hours. Driving down the road brought back memories of other trips. She wondered how Milly was doing, her partner had returned home to visit her parents for awhile. Meryl didn't know if she'd be back or not, poor Milly had taken the death of Wolfwood pretty hard. Meryl had guessed that there was more between her friend and the itinerant priest than just mere freindship. It was obvious she was right, it was a shame really.

The small town finally appeared on the horizon. Meryl slowed the car as she got closer. Finally she pulled up outside the local bar and parked her vehicle. Getting out she stretched and looked around.

Archer chuckled a bit at Remy's sarchasm. She could always make him laugh, she was great for that. However the smack to his head quickly reversed that, he was the joke now.
"hey! cut it out, I've got a brain, and its twice as big as yours too!" he bickered, climbing to his feet just as Genesis popped out of the window.
"Well, I really cant say no, can I?" he chuckled, smiling to Genesis. "Just promise me you wont do anything dangerous, you dont know this town like Remy and I do." he pointed out, as he took a few steps out of the alleyway before freezing and turning back to the girls.
"C'mon, we dont have much time... that Millions Knives guy could get popped at any sec-" Movement from the corner of his eye caused him to freeze mid sentence, slowly he turned round to find, none other than Andrew himself.
"c-crap..." he muttered. Andrew was a laid back guy when not on the job... but now archer was on his turf. He remembered the last guy who tried to cross andrew... he coudlnt walk straight for months... now who knew what Andrew would do to Archer.



((akira, knives is being "Held up" in the nightengale, theres a crowd of bounty hunters and crooks around the front of the bar talking about it, trying to decide if they want to kill him or not.
also, I thought perhaps since Archer is a plant, he and vash would have been "buddies" though while vash is disguiesed, Archer woldnt really recognize him.
So if you wanna toss him into that drama, you could smile ))

"It would be one less psycho fanboy to worry about," Remy pointed out with a laugh. "But then I wouldn't have someone to bother if Archer got slaughtered." Keep an eye on him, yeah. Remy thought. I'm good with handling my own. "Yup. I'm Remy and I seem to think so too," she replied, turning to the cheerful Genesis. "I assure you I'm no supermodel, though. Even though I do have the body for it." She grinned, placing her hands on her hips and swelling her chest up with pride.


She noticed the quick, barely noticeable glance she got from Genesis. Like she was being studied but played it cool. Having forgotten about the exposed metal now adorning her arm, she quickly but subtly moved to cover it again. She wasn't feeling up to explain anything if Genesis asked. Hopefully the girl hadn't thought anything odd of it but she'd be a fool or blind not to; Archer would whine to her about carelessness too. She didn't need to hear that.


"I have no quarrels about the tag-along. Archer's the one complaining," Remy pointed out. "Yes, twice as big and twice as hollow." She chuckled, punching him on the arm lightly. "Geez, why don't you put a leash on her and drag her around town while you're at it, Arch." As she watched him walk off, talking still about something or other, she heard the sound of approaching footfalls. Archer seemed to have heard them too or he wouldn't have froze in mid-stride. "What? Scared, short stuff?" Remy mused, glancing at the other male. "Bah, I'll protect you, scaredy cat."


There was no doubt she would, if it came to that. Archer was like her cub in a sense and it didn't do one well to piss off the lioness. Especially if she was packing metal worthy of an adequate wallop.

(OOC ok I hate to say this but I am confused again! From what I have read Knives was rescued from the guys hassling him and is now in a bath tub with Eclipses tending him. Meanwhile Vash is in a different town taking a walk.)
