「Far far above the clouds, against the setting sun...A falcon flies alone, soaring in the wind.
I hear his lonely cry, so sad must he be...
ずっと、ずっと雲の上で, 落日に対して...隼は単独で飛び、風で上昇する
音も途絶えた風の中...」

「Riding the silent wind, a falcon flies alone...Reaching out with his wings, grasps the empty sky...
無声風の乗車, 隼は単独で飛ぶ...彼の翼によって手を差し伸べること, 空の空をつかむ...」

With each passing moment came more tension; Was someone or something trying to play with their minds? Perhaps their aim was to instill fear into the group. These thoughts were mere guesses, whatever Shiki had caught sound of could be anything. The first guess was obviously that whatever lurked within the woods belonged to Shai's army...but the question which remained was, was it a mere soldier, or...a Juuishi general...? Fubuki swallowed hard, her eyes scanning the trees despite the fact she could see nothing but leaves, yet her hopes drove her into believing she might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of any unnatural movement of some kind...
Just then, a few seconds after glancing around, Shiki turned to and shot a rather unnerving glare her way...but what really caught Fubuki off guard, were his words. "..What..?!" Wh-what was this all of a sudden?! The entire time after having revealed the truth to her Shiki's behavior was that of melancholy! So...why was he saying these things...? It was true she was upset with him, but...not enough to want to take his life! The fox boy continued to mock her while Veiya exhibited signs of a wild beast ready to go for the kill, causing Fubuki to freeze in place. "Th-that's not true!!" A cold chill ran down her spine as her heart began to pound, her breath growing heavy with utter confusion written all over her face. "S-Shiki...Veiya...Wh..what has gotten into you..!?"
Suddenly, the fox boy drew his bow and arrow, taking aim while continuing to mock her. Hearing about her family caused her to flinch and, for a moment, lowering her head as if unaffected by their threatening gestures. Could she have really done something back then...? Could she have changed the fates of a select villagers if she'd remained to fight? Fubuki bit her lip, her hands clenching tightly with the memory.
"Shes just a weak little human girl...if she wasn't so pathetic she may of even stopped me from killing her family back then."
They were the kind of words she wished never to hear again...such remarks reminded her of her father, who many times insulted her due to her lack of skill. Even if she was not as strong as her brothers physically, the fact that she never gave up should have been enough! Still...knowing she only managed to nick Nagato made her realize how much strength she really was lacking...but was was a human to do against a god?! It was then Fubuki also realized how little she had done since joining Kaito; very few times had she lifted her sword. Why? It was because she was afraid of dying. And her healing abilities...the last time she'd really used them was after meeting Kaito as well. Many were suffering, and yet...she was feeling as if she'd completely forgotten about them...how long had she been selfish like this?
Fubuki raised her head to look upon the two antrho's, biting the inside of her lip in hesitation of what to say first. What could she say...? A long pause followed after, then finally, she spoke. "...You're right..." she said, "I'm not strong, I can't do much of anything, much less against a higher Juuishi..." Just watching these two was making her uncomfortable, yet she continued. "I...even so, I want to do whatever is possible to help Kaito and those who are suffering..!" It was then she looked to the brown earth. Either the killing stares of Shiki and Veiya were getting to her, or she felt ashamed...perhaps the reason was both. "...I've done little to nothing since I started on my own...I was even afraid to life my weapon during the attack on Torcia because I feared death!"
Why was she saying these things now? Why in the world was she admitting her weaknesses? Was it because she never wanted to see herself as weak, or...did she just not want to admit it...? Once more she bit her lip, raising her head to look at the fox boy. "I...I don't even know if I could have done anything back then, but...even knowing the truth about your involvement, I never wished to raise my sword against you, Shiki! It's the truth!" Because she still had not decided whether or not to forgive him...Once more a crow's caw rang through the air, putting her more on edge than before. Her sword remained at her side, waiting to see if what the two would do...was she right to admit to her weakness? Even if she did, a big part of her didn't want to...

「When will I ever find a place to call my home? Sadness and loneliness, a falcon in the sky...
When will I ever find a way to speak my heart, to someone who knows, what it is to be alone?
私の家を呼ぶとIが場所が見つける時? 悲しさおよび孤独, 空の隼...
Iが私の中心を話す方法を見つける時, 知っている誰かに, それがだけであることである何?」
