The story takes place in the cold north... You used to live in a small village up in the mountains, but one day you woke up and looked completely different... Your face, your body... Everything had changed... And for some reason, you were granted with strange powers... The other villagers accused you of being a demon and banished you from the village... You have nothing left, so the only thing you can do is to go out and look for answers... What happened to you...? If it a gift? Or a curse? You'll have to find out what happened to you... On your quest, you will have to travel through a magical frozen land full of monsters to find out what happened to you! Will you ever become human again...?

Weapons: Yuuki doesn't fight often. But when the right buttons are pushed, she goes for a highly efficient cutting tool: the Naginata. (A tall pole with a curved blade on the top.)
Personality: Clumsy. Simplistic. Reserved. Girly. Wistful.

Race: Unnamed. She displays characteristics of the undead, but has no bloodthirst.
Gender: Female/Female
Powers: Apparently possesses some sort of telepathic ability, as well as the ability to create 'stamps' of the things in her head....that is, images on something in reality. She draws with her finger, and as she does, the image is seared onto the surface. This includes flesh.
Weapons: Unarmed...only has one limb.
Personality: Astredae-Self-contained. She doesn't do much talking, and also seems to have little hostility toward anything. Some would tell you she is a ghost. Since her transformation, she seemed to show schizophrenic tendencies, though the diagnosis was never made. Her behavior is detached at best, and often it takes coaxing to get her to respond. Occasionally she release an outburst of jumbled words in a sentence or two that makes absolutely no sense.
Klara-This entity appears to be a separate personality within the changed body of Astredae. She appears in moments of crisis or great importance. Klara is clear-headed, stubborn and mean. Her sarcasm and wit go unmatched. Klara knows everything about her host, and seems to loathe her. Astredae, when she is talking, has no idea Klara even exists.

Cain looked around. The snow felt like fire as it danced around him. Cain's shirt was ripped up and totally useless in this cold forest. His wings felt incredibly heavy on his back, but he kept walking forward. ''I have to find someone who can help me... I can't walk around like this... But everyone fears me now...'' A few stars could be seen up there on the pitch black sky, but they didn't give him enough light to see where he was going. ''I'll keep walking... Nothing can stop me now...'', he thought with a slight smile.

What has this world become? Oh, maybe this journey was another message for suicide, just like it always had seemed. Maybe it was for the good of another being... Maybe this could be it for her.

Yuuki fell to the ground, smashing into the pillow of sheer ice crystals. Her body throbbed with blood gushing through her veins. It was too much impact on herself. Her eyes fluttered, forbidding the snowflakes to fall onto her dark lashes. It had been her wake up call; Behold! her new and not-so-improved alarm clock.

Though it seemed to be a blinding white wall in front of her, she saw a shape in the wall. And it seemed to be moving. Yes, it was moving. Where? Yuuki felt a sudden pulse to run towards it. But she stayed there, head close to the snow blanket, and watched the figure move towards her.

Everything seemed to spin. As if Alexis could feel the rotation of the planet. But she couldn't. Once more she had tried to feed upon some animal she had caught in the forest, and once more it had not satisfied her thirst, but instead made her feel worse. Why would this animal blood not agree with her? She knew it would not be long before she starved. It had been weeks since she had successfully fed, and the lack of appropriate blood was killing her. Not only that, but having been stripped of the clothing that represented her position in the village meant that the cold was getting to her too.

So there she knelt, alone in the snow, surrounded by trees, stained with blood, not knowing if carrying on was a waste of time and the little energy she possessed that was keeping her alive.

Cain heard something and looked up. Something was moving out there. His blood froze to ice. What if it was a hunter? Or one of the villagers? Whoever it was, they would probably try to kill him. ''Hello!?'', he shouted, still walking forward. ''Who's there!?'' He wanted to lift his sword, but figured not to do it. After all, how could he be sure it was a human? He just kept walking...

"I am here," Yuuki boldly replied back. Her voice gave out to the gust of wind. It was a miracle that she could hold her delicate figure on the fury of snow.

The young girl hoisted herself up, shaking as she straightened her whole body.

"Who are you?" She weakly called back at the shape.

So it was a person! Cain took a few more steps forward. ''Uh... Cain...'', he said, shivering and very hungry... He hadn't eaten in a few days, but somehow, he managed to survive.

"Cain, I smell blood," she said with a wistful look, "Are you bleeding? Or is there something else?"

She glanced in all directions. Her whole body was losing blood quickly. She could just barely smell the faint, but delicious scent that rose into the air. Where was it coming from?

"Cain, are you heading where I'm heading? Are you after the antidote, also? Whose side do you fight on?"
