Yuuki's eyes flashed a sheer silver once he had said that. Monster? It wasn't that she was fearful. No, not at all. She would never be scared of whatever that thing was. Truth be told, the girl showed a wee bit of rage in her now sheer metalic eyes.
"A monster, you say? Are you sure it's not one of us? One of us who which they bestow a curse onto?" She said with a bittersweet look. She felt hopeless at that point. Both were obviously hungry and walking through a haunting forest in who-knows-where on some nearly impossible journey.
"Let's be going," she shook it off and rushed through the forest. Her eyes perked when she heard a sickly grumble. Silence, stomach!! She angrily thought as she kept on walking through the snowy pages of the forest. But it wasn't her stomach.
Before long, Yuuki found herself on the cold dirt of the forest floor, spitting out globs of her saliva. An instant after that, her head raised to find an enormous creature that made a dark whole in the pure white snow.

''...Why are you... W-What's that!!?'', he shouted, staring at the creature on the ground.

"Cain, I don't know." She finally stood up. For a moment, she wondered why she was on the ground in the first place. Then she began to pray she wasn't losing blood from the sudden fall. Her blood was vital. When exposed, it gives off a sound that leaves most enemies a regretful battle. It also was her main dish. Without blood, she would wilt away. She swallowed another lump in her hoarse throat, examining the creature.
"Maybe we should... approach it..." She whispered to Cain.

Yuuki's head turned to Cain. Even though he'd tear the thing apart in a matter of mere moments, he showed compassion for the creature. She found herself thinking it was admirable of him to do so. Yuuki nodded her white bob like a lost puppy when his question materialized into her brain.
"Indeed, let's approach together," she stated, stepping forward. But the unlucky girl was then again struck with bad news: she was bleeding.
In a fast instant, the organism thrusted its tail, restlessly struggling to part from the sound of her blood. Trees crackled and fell lifeless. The snow mounted against both of their bodies when the creature's tail stomped the snow-packed ground continuously.
"Cain!" She screamed, losing ground as the animal continued its struggle away. If they were lucky, they'd get out alive and away from the animal. So far, the possibility didn't seem to be in reach.
