Jericho wasn't sure if Bee already liked him or something. She took him into her home, offered to watch movies with her and even sleep with her, hell even kept brushing her hand on his! Oh well, girls will be girls, and with a stud like himself how could they resist? He kept getting dragged around until finally he was at his car. He climbed in from the passenger side and let her get in normally. He revved the engine, it shook his heart and his hair but it made him happy. He zoomed towards the elementary school the girl had been talking about. He stopped at the front and looked at her expectantly not knowing exactly what it was that he was doing there.

Shampoo, conditioner, towel, swimsuit, plastic bag, another pair of underwear and...and... Dang it! An itching at the back of Bee's head was telling her... something. There was someth- "Ah ha!" Pulling out a piece of plastic from her backpocket, Bee shoved it (along with some change) into the side pocket. Perfect, looking up Bee blinked. When did they get here? She opened her mouth to ask but thought against it. Better not look a gift horse in the mouth. Now where was ugly? Rolling the window down, Bee spotted her sister talking to friends by the slide. Half cupping her mouth, she shouted "Hey, what's-your-face! Get your butt over here!"

A dark head perked up before waving good-bye to her friends and jogging over the car. Melissa looked almost identical to Bee except slightly rounder in the face, being that she still retained some baby fat. Staring at the car, Melissa looked at Bee before leaning to the side to ge a better look at Jericho."Who's zat? Your boyfr-"

Bee had the I'll-lock-you-out-of-the-house stare locked on her younger sister before giving Missy the yellow bag. "I won't be coming with you guys today or for the rest of the summer. I got classes. Is dad here yet?" Melissa nodded over to a large man walking over to them.

Her father was tall by asian standards and though he was not muscled like a strong man, her dad could still pin anyone down in a matter of seconds. When he arrived, Bee waved. "Hey Dad.""Hey Bee. How are my two daughters?" Melissa answered in a hug while Bee just lifted her tied wrist. "Thats the experiment?" The man asked, eyebrows lifting. "Do you want me to talk to your teacher for you?" No, no, NO! If he went to the school then they'd notifed her mother then her mother would find out and... And... "It's okay." She answered calmly despite the panic in her head. "I need the credits. Melissa's stuff is in the bag, alright? Call me when your done, so I can pick her up."Her father nodded before leaning in and kissing Bee on her forehead. "Love you Isabelle." Bee smiled and waved good-bye, watching the man and her sister walk away. As soon as they out of ear shot, Bee quickly turned to Jericho. "Promise me that when we get home, you'll tell my mom that we've been at the library."

Jericho just sat there quietly and calmly, as the father approached he smiled. He obviously knew what was up. This situation was simple and easy to Jericho, no complications. As the man left Jericho turned towards Bee as she spoke to him. "She's kinda sketchy...hope this doesn't screw me over." Hiding things from her mother was she? Maybe Bee was a closet freak, this thought teased Jericho. He began to wonder how experienced she was behind closed doors...he stopped though cause if anything he could find out for himself, he always did.

Jericho nodded with a smug smirk on his face. "Allright, my house next." He started to drive again and in no time reached his house. He got out of his side of the car this time dragging Bee with him. He sorted out the keys and unlocked the door, it was a two story house, his dad was sleeping downstairs on the couch in the living room. He went upstairs, past a room full of trophies and medals and banners just for him. He got to his room, there were two pictures. One was of his mother before he was born and the other was of him and his sisters before she died. He threw a couple tank tops into a small suitcase along with bathing suits, no underwear and flip flops.

He looked at the girl and then at his room. "I'm not here much." He went back downstairs to his dad who was awake now watching t.v. the man was bigger than Jericho, even Mr. Clark. He was wearing a muscle shirt, it was appropriate due to the fact that he was the most muscular guy Jericho knew. "Hey Papa...I'm going to the beach, part of the experiment remember?" There was no reply. Jericho fidgeted and finally turned away. "See you later, love you dad." Again, silence. He walked out the door and back into the car.

Bee sat back and chewed the inside of her bottom lip. Was he agreeing that he would keep the meeting of her father a secret? Or was it confirmation that they were going to arrive at his house? Not making a sound, she stared out at the passing houses. Her mind conjuring a plan should he grow a large mouth then another plan if that one didn't work out and a third to cover the first two. Every time her mental mother demanded an answer to one of her many questions, Bee artfully painted together a reply. By the time, the car was at Jericho's house, she had safety net for every scenario saved for the more outlandish ones.

Taking quick steps to keep up with Jericho, Bee barely had a glance at the room full of awards (not that she looked at them) before making way to his room. The room was... well she wasn't sure what to say for only a framed picture. Each had a female in it though the two were of different age. Mother and.. a childhood friend? OH MY GOD. Was it an unrequited love that moved away? DID THOSE EVEN EXIST?? Nah, it was probably a cousin or something. Jericho didn't seem to be the type to keep pictures willy nilly. The sound of ruffled fabric and something soft landing, had her attention turned "Are you going to be buying more clothes?" Surely that was not everything but when he closed the suitcase, she guessed that, that was her answer.

Following him back downstairs, Bee was about greet to Jericho's father were it not for the tense silence. The transaction between the two was bizarre. It was a like a reverse dejavu. Waiting until they were both in the car, Bee asked in a soft voice "Do you want to talk about it?" Maybe she was over stepping her boundaries since today was the first time talking to Jericho but if they were going to be stuck together, they might as well be friends and if someone needed to talk Bee was going to BE there.

Jericho took a deep breath. "Those pictures? The only two women that ever meant something to me. My mom, who divorced my father and left. My sister, who died years ago. Dad can't cope. I try to be there. Nothing." He spoke fast to get it all over with. He started up the car again, took another look at the house then started to drive back to the school.

Wow. Bee hadn't actually expected an answer. Not that she was going back on her mental word. It was just..what Jericho told her was not feather-weight. Had it been up to her, she would have kept it till her death bed. There few people in her life she could ever trust. No, scratch that. With her recent life lesson, she understood that in her life, there was no one she could rely on. Not family (blood means nothing), not friends (faith is frail thing), not anybody. From an objective view, Bee was the biggest hypocrite. Helping others but never taking her own advice. Whatever, as long as others shined. "When you said nothing, did you mean that your father has stopped responding?" She winced at her pick of words. There were definitively ones that warm up the question.

Jericho parked the car. The rumbling had stopped, much like Jericho's fiery spirit. He sighed once more. This wasn't much of a secret to people. Specially staff, like Mr. Clark. People who went to the events always knew whether or not Jericho's father was there, they always knew how it affected the young man.

A wrestling tournament had Jericho in the finals. He looked around and never saw his father. His coach told him that his dad had texted him telling him he won't be making it. As the match started Jericho's silent fury was unleashed, he picked the boy up and slammed him breaking his arm. He got on top of the kid just so it wouldn't be an illegal move. Winning without a challenge or his father upset him. That was only one of many moments though. Most were notorious, when his father was there Jericho would perform well with a clear head, when he wasn't people could see his demeanor change. Friends knew his parents were divorced other never knew about his sister. Why Jericho had told Bee about her was a tactical decision. More info means more probability of a better grade. Better grade means another win. Another win would mean another possibility of a father's recognition, and that...that was worth it to him.

Bee shifted in her seat, not exactly sure where to place her next step. She had asked if he wanted to talk and he spilled. There was no problem in that, having found herself in situations like this many times before with her old friends. The only factor that differed from the first and second was that Jericho did not ask for help. Too many times in the past was she told to stay out of other affairs. She wasn't being nosy (though there were times curiosity would throw a tantrum when it couldn't be in control). Just trying to help. Bee understood the feeling of words jumbling inside you, throwing themselves against your ribs and lung, to get out. Except there isn't a place for them. Not a safe one anyway.

Leaning back into her chair, Bee echoed his sigh and stared up at the ceiling. Should she? She had promised. "I have a.. cousin. Or rather had. She was the weirdest girl you'd ever meet, giving colour to everything around her. At her school, there were two gangs. Not high-profiled ones, nothing the police cared about." Maybe that's why it got so out of hand before anyone did anything. "My cousin tried to be the peacemaker between the two and got too deep. I warned her that what she was doing was worth it but..." Her fist clenched together. If only Bee had tried harder and not given up so soon. "She told that no price was too large was to pay." Sniffling, her voice lowered. "One day, she got a call. Her best friend got hit by a car when she was walking home from school. I won't go into the details of what happened after but it permanently scarred my cousin. It took me months just to get her talking again and even then, it was only a few words. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm in the same boat as you. "

Jericho had put his large hand on her cold thigh. He looked at her with such an intense passionate loving and comprehension. His thumb rubbed her skin, he went in close and whispered in her ear. "Cool story bro." He bursted into laughter and opened the car doors, waving the girl outside. "Are we best friends yet?" The young man smiled at her, he wasn't lying to her about what happened, but all this sentimental mumbo jumbo was for the ones in his bed or the ones he was romantically, I mean really romantically, involved with. The girls story was barely interesting to him though, everyone had some sort of sad story, that was another reason Jericho told her.

Bee nearly jumped out of her skin at the touch, staring down at it with knitted brows before raising her gaze. The look he gave her not only made her flinch but squirm. It made her squinch. Oh god. He wasn't going to kiss her was he? She leaned back slightly as he went forward. Thankfully, his lips went past hers but then settled next to her ear. His breath had goosebumps rising around her ear. What? Her brain didn't shut down but it wasn't exactly running either. Just stalling. Blank. Like someone had thrown a stick into the gears. It was only when she was pulled out of the car, did her mind go snap. As soon as he asked, the bell could not have rang more clear. Her hand itched to smack itself across his face. "No." She grounded out through clench teeth. "We're not best friends."

Bee sharply turned away and walked to the school. Her mother had warned her. Life had spelled it out for her but still, Bee couldn't help but trust people. Trusted that they needed her help. Trusted that they would have her back. Trusted that there were still good people in the world. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

EDIT: Sorry, what I wrote before, I realized wouldn't have fit Bee's character. (x>_<x)

“You sure are right about the bully part. Did you see what she did to my face?"

She should have socked him in the eye for that one. To think she had been gentle with him in the first place. Ariana would think twice before helping him with any other problem he seemed like a guy who might have a few. She knew that wasn’t the case she loved helping people no matter what they did or who they were. She would just have to make sure she caused pain while treating him. As all these thoughts of pain induced by healing and cleaning wounds she nearly dropped her bags with how close he had gotten in the next couple of seconds.

"Oh, sweetheart! Hold on. Lemme get those bags for you. It's the least a boy could do for his girlfriend!"

Her eyes widened at his words before she shoved her bag at him hurrying out the door to get fresh air. The string around her eventually caught her pulling with a small shock as a reminder, she had almost fallen onto her butt. Assuming he had followed she looked up at him. A lost for words before she failed at uttering a small sentence.”D-did you just,” She took a deep breath at least it wasn’t as bad as her little panic attack over the bike he probably found this all very funny. She took a moment to relax herself closing her eyes before looking at the car, anything to avoid his gaze.

Still her cheeks stung with heat she just knew her face was bright from the very last comment. The man at the counter could be heard laughing even as she rushed them outside. What could she do even if the man knew it wasn’t true he would use this to tease her in future visits. Oh, god she had gotten nervous at the mere thought of it. This kid was not even her type he was just a goofball, “ It’s decided I’m going murder him and then claim all his insurance and the bar,” She began talking to herself, all thoughts were focused on the man until she glanced to Allen before pointing with a smirk, “ O-Okay so you had your fun now its time for payback.” Her finger then pointed to the car, “ You ready for the rollercoaster.” Its was all she could think of to get the devious smile off his face. Even if it was cute she smacked her forehead she couldn’t make him sick he would probably throw up in her car, that would throw a curve ball in the teachers plans. “ Never mind…that’s really mean isn’t it?”

Allen tried the best he could handling the two bags that were roughly dumped into his arms. They were much heavier than they appeared, but the boy managed them to the best of his abilities. But jeez! Why did girls always have to pack so much stuff? And what was in there anyway, blocks of concrete? He chased after her as quickly as the toppling bags would allow. He felt the small zap and watched as the string shrunk even more. At this rate they would have almost no space to themselves. As he watched her have a mini panic attack, he gently put the luggage down, laughing quietly to himself. He knew that it was probably really mean, and even a bit cruel to do, but it was pretty darn funny. Heck! Even her uncle was laughing away inside, but who would've thought she would overreact this badly? He lazily leaned back against the wall to continue enjoying the show, of course until Ariana came over towards him with a smirk and her finger in his face.

Watching in horror, Allen's smile faded as she pointed towards hell on wheels and stated it was time for payback. Oh dear god. Anything but that. It was already an impressive feat that he survived being in that death trap twice, but a third time would be really pushing it, especially with a pissed off driver. He quickly got down onto his knees and began pleading with her in a sad attempt to lengthen his life. "Oh please Ari don't kill in me the car!" He began rambling on, trying to strike deals. "I promise I won't bug you anymore or nothing. Okay, maybe I can't promise that 'cause that's just what I do but I'll try my best not to and oh please please please. I swear I'll behave!!" Allen heard her mutter never mind and immediately flew up from the ground wrapping his arms around her small frame. "Oh thank you thank you thank you! I get to live to see another day!" He unwrapped himself from around her and took a step back. He smiled and wiped a tear from his eye before picking up her bags again. "So, we go back to the school now right?" He inquired softly.
