Samantha Black aka The Black Widow
Location: Prism Tower: Arenas [Combat Sim: Empty City, Opponent: Troy x1/2]

Samantha stood panting upon the rooftop of the tall building, one of the few actually left standing after this relatively epic battle. Opting as she always did to fight two Troy's at half his power than a single one at full for her daily training, she found the simulator seemed to be adjusting itself. Spiting a bit of blood onto the floor of the rooptop, staring out across the surprisingly complex dreamscape at her opponents. The pair of them dangled in the air before her, the one on the left was hurt pretty bad, but the other was barely scathed at all. Their faces were cold and emotionless, and just as the real Troy they never attacked, only defended until you were able to hit them.

Angered she planted her feet firmly within the roof, sinking in just slightly at her movement, blood poured from a number of places on her body. Wounds caterized shortly after by the extremely corrosive light energy that he used, the pain throbbing through her body fueled her rage. She began to channel more and more of her own life force energy forth, causing electrical synapses to sizzle and pop about her, lifting small bits of debris from the ground about her. Fist balled she clenched them further, willing the energy from her form, drawing it out into the dreamscape, a bit of a swirling purplish mist like substance seemingly faded into life.

If one could follow the trail of energy, they'd see tons of tiny thread like streams feeding the mist causing it to grow into a trio of swirling pillar like objects which eventually expanded to encase her form in an orb like aura. As soon as she began powering up the wounded Troy took off, launching himself towards her and firing a pair of lances of light, long thick spear like projectiles of celestial energy. Quickly bending her knees she'd launched herself into the air watching as the lances collided with the rooftop, and exploded. Watching the building just a second too long, when she glanced back he was already on her, a hand coming forth delivering a blow towards her midsection.

Forearms down she provided a guard, and the two seemed to vanish for a moment, the thwacking and thudding sounds of body parts colliding was heard as for a moment their movements became almost untrackable for the simulator. Dodging and attacking one another they continued in this pattern, she'd landed a few but spent most of her time deflecting his barrages, though several seemed to get through. The more pain she felt the more energy flooded from her form, compelling her body to go faster, as though its own defense mechanism was trying to compensate for his superiority.

The more they continued this rapid and rather destructive back and forth mid-air, eventually finding their way into and through another large building in one of the upper floors. His speed increased as well, his punches becoming hard to see even for her, grunting as one connecting with her jaw and she was sent flying backwards into the building again. Letting the momentum carry her she'd burst through the other side heading for the ground, eventually leaning into a back flip and slowing her fall. Again though he was on her, leading with his right this time, though she smirked, hoping he'd get that close just once more.

In a blur of quick movement she'd seemingly sidestep though they were midair so it was more of a horizontal strafing of sorts. Her left hand reaching up to parry his oncoming fist, smoothly taking hold of the wrist as the simulated opponent was clearly caught off guard. Suddenly her right hand was thrust forward, a smaller orb gathering within of the purplish energy slammed into his chest. The energy itself had been compressed several times and then layered with more energy only to be compressed again. This process built up significant force within the small orb itself, on contact its exploded out into a large beam like projectile almost four times the size of the original orb. Launching him back into another building, through it and carrying his form off a few hundred yards before he was slammed into the ground and drug and short ways.

CEO of Prism Corp

Location: Prism Tower Top Floor, Personal Office

Bryce sat calmly within his obscenely lavish and nearly entirely automated office, the massive computer station taking up nearly half of the western wall continued to blink rapidly on a number of different screens. He'd spent the better part of a day working out a few kinks within the coding of the arena simulation systems, he hadn't accounted for a number of anomalies created from the code he'd initially written for the system.

He tended to obsess over things like this, a hanging suspscion that at any moment he could fail and fall flat on his face metaphorically always made him very critical of his work. A cigarette clasped between his lips occasionally burned down a bit, joined eventually by a small plume of smoke from his nostrils. His mind wandered nearly a mile a minute, scanning the code itself looking for the source of some of these issues. The small holographic projection of his screen spanned the length of his desk began to flicker a bit as he was moving to fast for the processor to keep up with him.

He cursed for a moment angrily, realizing a rather obvious error, he found himself annoyed he hadn't noticed it before. Quickly correcting it he'd continue on to the his scans, glancing to the right curiously as a digital miniature of his secretary appeared on his desk walking towards him.

"What's up Jill?" he asked, knowing she was outside of the door looking at a projection of him from the small fixture on the wall. She smiled shaking her head finding it difficult to get used to this new holo system he'd put in a few weeks ago.

"Just finished looking over the contracts and patents for a few of your more recent gadgets... I'll forward them to you and i'm off for the night."

He smiled glancing up at her, wondering where he'd ever be if she didn't handle most of the administrative stuff. Originally she'd had a team to work with, but he'd given her workspace a significant upgrade, the new interface allowing her to shrink her department of three down to just her. "Of course, I'll be here for a while.. Take a few days, you've been doin nothin but paper work all week now."

She grinned eagerly nodding and smiling graciously up at him from his desk, "your the boss" she said nodding to him, "see ya later." Bryce smirked, looking up a moment to see her small rather curvy form walk to the edge of his desk and vanish from sight.

Evelyn sighed softly as she leaned against the door frame of her French doors that open onto her personal balcony. Her green eyes dancing over the Eden Strip below. It wasn't even dusk yet and she was already dreading the long night to come. She had things to do, places to be, appearances to make. Running her lace glove covered hands through her light brown locks, Eve pushed off the door frame, padding silently towards the kitchen. She was hungry, so she figured she would grill up a late lunch. A steak sounded good. Opening up her refrigerator Evelyn pulled out a pair of steaks that she had marinated already and stepped out onto her balcony. It was a nice day in her rather luxurious prison, but not every super in the city considered Olympus as a prison, but as a Haven. She couldn't help but scoff at this. She had been a god on the outside. Putting the human race in their rightful place beneath them. And now look at her. Nothing more than a small crime lord trying to take over this damn hell hole. She had to admit, it was rather nice for a hell hole, but still. She felt like a caged animal.

Turning on the grill, Evelyn slapped on the steaks, grabbing a spatula so that she was ready to flip them when needed. She always made extra. Samantha had a habit of stopping by randomly, so Eve always made sure to cook extra, just in case. She knew Samantha from her days with Khaos. They had quickly become friends back then and when they were forced here, she stuck by Samantha. She was the only thing familiar. Sighing as she shook her head, Evelyn flipped the steaks, hearing the sizzle as the meat cooked on the grill. She had forgotten a platter to put them on when they were done. Cursing under her breath, Eve set down the spatula, padding back into the kitchen to grab a plate to put the steaks on before padding back out to the balcony. Setting the plate to the side, Evelyn flipped them again, the smell of the steak starting to make her stomach grumble.

Samantha Black aka The Black Widow
Location: Leaving Prism Towers, On the Eden Strip

Samantha floated back upward slowly now towards the other Troy, watching as the essence of the first crept from the beneath the rubble like a white light of sorts and raced off towards the other. With a heavy sigh an arm sliding up to cup her arm she decided she'd had enough for today, her body rather fatigued as this was about her tenth go around in the training sim. While there were a number of ways to wake up from the VR sim, most of which requiring concentration and thought about certain very specific things, she enjoyed the fastest way, dying. Racing towards the other Troy now she'd bring back her arm as though to punch him, though even as she gained on him he didn't seem to move.

Her first suddenly thrust forth, a sigh escaping her as this was the part she disliked the most of the whole experience. The blow she'd thrown passed through nothingness, feeling his form already materialized behind her, his hand palm open close enough to touch the spike of hair jutting from the back of her head. The slightest tingle of burning pain was felt as a very concentrated ray of celestial light energy essentially vaporized her form tossing her back into reality. She stirred a bit and awoke upon one of the many comfortable couches within one of 5 arena rooms in the Arena Center just off the Eden Strip.

Shaking her head a bit she stood ruffling her hair a bit to realign the spikes in their natural position, smirking a bit at her image as she passed the mirror on the way out. Her toned form drew her to bit her lip gently, deciding that she love Olympus if for no other reason than she could walk around dressed like this all day without standing out too dramatically. The weather within the city was generally always the same, it rained every now and then to seem as though there was some variety but she was pretty sure the same dream material that constructed the city effected weather as well.

Deciding as usual that s**t simply did not care, she took the small stairwell exiting the building, stretching out her arms a bit as the residual fatigue of using the machine all day began to sink in. The lag between the pain and soreness's translation from mind to body was something of a blessing and a curse, a teasing of sorts. As she shook his head a bit she'd cilmb onto her Hayabusa Custom pressing down on the small thumb scanner she grinned as the bike hummed to life. Its engine roared as though it'd been tuned almost to perfection, between that and the rear swing arm extended nearly a foot further than the normal bike made it obvious she liked her toys fast. Revving the engine a few time, drawing the attention of a few people out and about, specifically a group of teenagers approaching from the block ahead of her. As she sped by them suddenly they all turned, watching her strangly scantily clad figure race off down the strip.

It wasn't much longer until the steak's were cooked to just how Evelyn liked them, Medium Well. Turning off the grill, Eve closed the lid, trapping the heat inside as to keep the steaks warm while she grabbed the sides for her lunch. Padding inside, Evelyn sighed, pausing long enough to turn on her stereo for background noise. Stepping into the kitchen, Evelyn adjusted her black leather skirt, her emerald green tube top leaving her entire midsection bare, revealing the red tribal tattoo around her bellybutton visible. Opening the fridge, Evelyn grabbed out a salad and ranch dressing, then closed the fridge as she grabbed a bag of chips. "Now I just need a drink..." She muttered to herself, padding outside to set down the sides she had grabbed before heading back inside to get herself a drink, plate, and silverware.

As she rode the bike down the strip the cool night air now nipping at her bare flesh, the lights of the strip dazzling the area in colors. The low roar of the engine calmed to a bit of a rumble as she pulled up to the light and stopped, leaning down on the handle bars for a moment, rather tired and hungry. She knew before long all would be well though, Eve had to have made dinner by now, she was always one to cook spontaneously, something Sam rather enjoyed about her. Since she'd ran back into Eve she'd rarely spent much time at her actual apartment in the Prism Commons, one of the apartment complexes Prism Corp bulit about the city.

With a heavy sigh she'd lean back up, a smirk tracing her features as she noted a number of eyes tracing her form. She'd never been much of a fan of the male species in general, her mother'd spent most of her time dating the wrong men and she'd gotten used to seeing it. As she'd grown up, especially after killing her father she'd never really even considered being with a man in such a fashion, deciding it simply a waste of her time. She mused at their gazes, grinning teasingly as she sped off once more, moving a few more blocks before pulling into park in the small garage of the Eden Condominiums. Parking the bike not too far from the elevator she'd step up to it now, dialing in Eve's numbers and waiting as it rang. When she answered she'd simply respond,

"aye Evie its me" happily, as though having reached her destination calmed her mind a bit and soothed her aching bones.

As Evelyn mixed herself a drink, her usual rum and coke, she heard the her intercom buzz which meant she had company. Pressing the answer button, she wasn't at all surprised to hear Sam's voice on the other end. "Come on up." She said to Sam with a grin as she pressed a set of buttons to allow the elevator to come straight up to her penthouse. Many had asked Eve how she afforded such a nice place and every time she had made it clear that it was none of their business. She had her financial connections, which is what got her such a nice and secure place. Making a second drink, Eve grabbed two plates, forks and knives. Once Samantha was in her penthouse, she would grin, handing the woman the second drink before grabbing the plates and such in one hand, her drink in the other as she padded out to the table set on the balcony. "Made steak. Hope you like yours medium well." She muttered with a grin as she set the table and set down her drink. "Spent your day in the arena as usual I'm assuming." She said lightly, glancing to Sam over her shoulder, her eyes looking scanning her fit form, lingering on her breasts for a moment as she opened the lid so she could transfer the still hot steaks to the platter she had grabbed earlier. She had never felt comfortable with men. They were easy to control and manipulate, good to keep around when you needed certain things done, but sexually, she had always preferred women. Samantha had caught her eye the moment they had met, but to this day she hadn't acted on it. She didn't know why, but she hadn't acted. Grabbing the platter, she set it in the middle of the table as she sat down. "Dig in. I made plenty."

Samantha nodded and calmly stepped into the elevator as it opened, turning her back to lean against the back wall. Her hand coming up to gently rub her bicep, doing her best not to wince at the pain still lingering about that area. She shook her head a bit, watching as the elevator doors opened and she stepped off into Eve's apartment, graciously accepting the drink. Raising it to her she'd take a sip as they headed out onto the balcony where she saw that dinner had been prepared,

"ohh..." she said nodding happily, as a gentle rumble of hunger could be heard in her stomach. Taking a seat at the table she couldn't help but notice her wandering eyes, a sly grin tracing her features as she leaned back into her seat with a heavy sigh. The food before her smelled delicious, causing her to lean down a smile as she looked upon the nice sized meal.

"Yea..." she answered finally, "without those simulators I'd be lost in this place" she said with a sigh shaking her head. As she began to work on her food cutting a nice piece of steak, dabbing it in a bit of the sauce before catching it between her teeth and pulling it from the fork. She smiled, "mmm" she said nodding to her, "you see why I never go home now" she said chuckling a bit across the table to her. "I still can't beat'em" she said somewhat disappointed, "I mean I know he's ******** tough, but honestly I've grown quite a bit since I started training fighting Troy, I thought by now I could at least have beatin'em once."

It was rather obvious that this bothered her as she continued to work on her food, being the toughest was the only thing that really mattered to her. Her days as a criminal had taught her plenty of ways to make money, so this was something she seldom worried about. Ever since she'd come to Olympus she'd seen very little action outside of the sims which had begun to wear on her quite a bit. She missed being misjudged for a whore in bars and subsequent fights that often ensued from these instances.

Evelyn snickered as she heard Sam's stomach rumble, her own following suit shortly after. Sinking into her own seat, Eve cut into her steak, cutting the entire think into small chunks before using the salad tongs to get herself a bit of salad and dressing to top it. Stabbing a piece of her steak, Eve chuckled softly. "That's what I have the clubs for Sam. Particularly Ezekiel. That place is like a second home for me." She said with a grin before biting the chunk of steak from her fork. "Because I'm an awesome cook and plenty of bed space?" She muttered with a playful grin as she crossed one leg over the other. After eating a portion of her steak, Eve paused, sipping her drink as she listened to Samantha. She knew that the fact that Sam couldn't beat Troy bothered her. She was always determined to be the strongest, which meant being able to beat Troy. "Sam. You need to relax. He's an angel for god's sake. He's not from this realm. One person against him may not be enough, but get enough people behind you and anything's possible." She said with an evil smirk as she thought to her crew. They were part of the rebellion that was trying to gain control. "What you got going on tonight, babe?" She asked as she went back to eating her food.

Samantha grinned at her across the table as she cut into her steak a bit more not bothering with the salad,

"yea your the club bunny, we all know that" she said chuckling a bit. Continuing to eat as she talked she glanced back up at her at the mention of the bed space, a sly grin tracing her soft lips,

"something like that" she said. While she certainly found Eve attractive, as her only real friend within the city she was hesitant to jump into bed with her, no matter how tempting. She'd been in interesting relationships with women before Olympus, some she enjoyed while others she found overly emotional and at times sensitive to her somewhat brutish nature.

Eve was nothing like any of these things though, surprisingly unique in a world where she thought she'd seen all of the surprises. She shrugged hearing her words about Troy,

"like that matters? We're from a different realm than he is too, and yet he came down here and embarrassed the s**t outta all of us... You were there" she said shaking her head, "even Khaos was no math for'em... I need to be that strong" a bit of a fury could be seen within her eyes as she met her gaze. Smiling as she looked up at her she'd admire her many tattoos as she always did, unable to keep from smiling as she continued to eat.

Evelyn chuckled softly, shaking her head lightly. "May be cute as a bunny, but underneath I am definitely not as sweet as one. Easiest way to organize without grabbing those wannabe cops' attention." She said softly, a determined look in her eye as she continued to eat, almost finished with her meal. In all the chaos, Sam was the one person to keep her grounded. Not even Khaos had done that for her, but he was called Khaos for a reason. Like him, she was blinded by the idea of power and full freedom, then Troy came and everything went to hell. Figuratively speaking of course. "Yes, I remember. It's why we're forming, Sam. Trying to figure out a way to gain control of the city. Then we can live by our own rules. Truly be free..." She said softly as she pushed away her empty plate. Eve looked down at her gloved hands, a sigh escaping her lips. Over the years she had learned to control when her powers took effect so that she could still get close to people, but even then she'd lose control. So she still wore the gloves. She had been wearing them for so long she felt naked without them. "Enough of this serious talk. Hell. We need to have fun tonight. For once." She said with a playful grin and snicker as she stood from her seat. Grabbing her plate, she began to walk off, pausing to brush a light kiss upon Sam's cheek. "Seriously. Fun. You understand what that word means, right?" She said with a snicker as she padded towards the kitchen.

Samantha tilted her head to the side curiously at the mention of her true desire for going to clubs,

"oh?" she asked curiously. Though Eve had mentioned it before, in truth she'd never really taken her seriously on it, she doubted many people wanted to change things that much. Deciding it might make sense to join her at the clubs for a change after all this evening, nodding to herself calmly as she finished up her steak.

Glancing at Eve as she stood she grinned as now more of her tattoos were revealed to her, she found they fit her quite nicely. Leaning into her kiss she smiled handing her Eve her plate and standing from the table as well chuckling bit at her question. "Fun just means different things to us Evie" she said calmly bending over a bit to lean down on her elbows against the guardrail of the balcony looking out over the city, her tail wrapped snugly about her waist.

She smirked devilishly a scene playing out in her head, one of her early VR sims before she'd started fighting Troy in which she fought a number of other people simultaneously. The battle that ensued was epic to say the least ending with 3/5 of them vaporized, the other two down and not moving, her a bit bloody standing before the ashes of a now obliterated city. This was her idea of fun, not dancing in clubs or even getting drunk, though she'd become more susceptible these type vices now that she was within Olympus.

"The club might not be so bad" she said finally turning to glance over her shoulder as she called out to her, noticing that he a** was rather well presented from this position.

Eve glanced to Samantha, nodding her head softly. "Indeed. You would be surprised to see the actual numbers we have behind us, Sam. Not everyone likes being told what to do, where to live. How to do it." She said, a somewhat bitter tone in her voice as she set their dirty dishes in the sink. "You seriously content in this prison?" She muttered with a soft frown as she padded back out onto the balcony. "Well, it won't kill you to have some of my fun. It's good to just unwind, let your body vibrate from the music, your senses drowning in the sounds and people." She said softly with a grin, noting Sam's gaze on her as she leaned against the doorway. "Just need to shower and change, then we can go." She said softly, her green eyes dancing over the dazzling lights of the strip. "It's gonna be a fun night, Sam. You'll see." She said with a playful grin. "Gonna go shower, be back shortly." She said with a wink as she padded back into the house, disappearing into the bathroom to shower.

Samantha shrugged at her question, turning back to gaze upon the city once more,

"its hardly a prison" she said with a bit of a chuckle, knowing that no where outside of these wall was there a city quite like this one. "I'm not a fan of rules either, and you know me I'm always up for a good fight" she shifted her legs a bit beneath her as they hurt a bit. At her mention of a shower she'd nod calmly, while she felt like she needed a shower, she still smelled fresh out, having simply been laying in the air conditioned VR room all day.

Stepping back into the condo though she'd take a seat on the couch, turning to stretch out her legs and bit and rub the left one specifically as it hurt a bit more. With a heavy sigh she'd lean her head back against the arm cushion, staring up at her ceiling. Closing her eyes for a moment her mind wandered back to the battle earlier between her and the simulation of Troy. The play by play running back through her mind, wondering how she could have capitalized on his movements, hoping to find weakness in him somewhere.
