Anna watched Angel bump into James and have her face go red. Did Angel like James? Probably. Angel's face got red a lot of the times when James was around. Entering the lap, Anna waved at James and nodded. "Well it can't be helped." She said smiling. After a few months of constantly being experimented on, Anna learned to stop trying to fight it. Better to get it over with then going through...well the hard way. Obediently lying down on the bed, Anna let Angel strap her in. "It's okay. I've gotten used to it." Already she felt a strange numbness where the straps touched her, it was like there was something beneath her skin, something very thin. Anna could never get used to the feeling and shifted her body so it was more comfortable.
Sighing, Anna closed her eyes, letting the sleep take her away. Her eyes opened to white. Anna knew that her eyes really weren't opened. She was dreaming. Every time she was put to sleep for an experiment, she'd come here. A white room that had speakers in all the top corners. Taking a spot in the middle of the room, Anna stretched her arms. After the third time being here, she stopped asking the scientist why she kept dreaming in this room. That just resulted in more testing. Surgery even.
Jame's voice suddenly filled the room. "You never told her she is honestly part computer and that is a large portion where her power comes from, it will destroy everything. If she becomes conscious of her body she may try to override us and that is not something that would be good" Anna had already found out that along time ago. It was around the fourth or fifth time she had been in this room. Apparently she could still hear everything around herself.
Anna winced slightly while rubbing her shoulder. They were probably making a cut now. Every cut they made on her body, Anna would still feel but at a weaker level. "Of course I didn't... I just apologized for all that she has to endure. I can't imagine it being much fun to be worked on like this constantly, not much of a life..." Anna smiled. Angel was always so sweet, just like her name.
Wishing that she had some popcorn, Anna tried to ignore the strange thing on in her shoulder. Feeling a slight light headed, she knew she was about to wake up. So Anna just lied on the ground and let nature take it's course.
(Rawr! I'm back!)
