Shelter for the truth ღ
Not that there's anything to hide
"Ah, good day! My what a lovely night is it not? Well as you might be able to see I'm not Japanese am I?" Carmelle gave a small giggle before continuing. "Me and my business partners whom I like to call friends have been sent here, to Tokyo, by my father of all people! Gee that ruthless old man!" Carmelle paused, collecting her thoughts. "Not to say I haven't enjoyed it here with everyone, but what a pain it was having to help all my friends learn such a complicated language! Good thing Kyoko and Ruu were there to help me, otherwise I would never have forgiven father!" Carmelle sighed and pulled something out of her kimono sleeve. She handed you a piece of paper with an address, building name, and phone number. It was a business card. "flip it over!" She said a bit excited. As you did you found a coupon and letter code on it. "Use that coupon on any item here! Not to mention the coupon can be reused and has no expiration date!" You gave her a shocked look and she smiled. This smile had something to it, behind her gorgeous face you could see she was hiding it, an important fact about the item you hold in your hand. Just what was it? Carmelle stood on the steps she was siting on making her taller then yourself. She turned and headed for the doors of the mansion which also carried a peculiar store inside the front double doors. She opened them and before disappearing from sight turned her head "There's always a catch to a good deal." She had said. The double doors shut and locked, closed for the night, leaving you there confused and wondering the same thing as every other victim had. What do you mean?

Buzz, buzz, beeeeeeeep! A hand smashed down onto the alarm clock almost permanently pushing the snooze button down. A soft sigh pushed its way through tired lips and the petite girl sat up with tangled hair. The hand pushed bangs away from eyes and helped lift the weary girl up from the more then comfortable bed. She walked over to the window and slid the silky blinds away, getting a very happy greeting from a very enthusiastic sun. She pushed the window shield up with a grin and stuck her small head out into the open. "IT'S SUMMER BREAK!!!!!!!" She screamed loudly, looking out at London. Oh this would be a wonderful break she could tell.
She jumped and sashayed all the way over to her bathroom, leaving no traces of ever being tired just a couple moments ago. She hoped into the shower after setting it to the perfect degree of heat, letting her body be caressed by the warmth of the water. She lathered her hair in hopes of getting the nest out like usual and used conditioner for that purpose also. Her liquid body wash was squeezed out onto a plain white washcloth embroidered with a golden colored string which made lovely vines and leaves. She stepped out feeling anew and dried off with her fluffy towel. She put on a silk bathrobe and combed out her long, thick, and no doubt beautiful hair. She fallowed her traces back to her room and put on a knee height summer dress. It was white with a silky red ribbon tied up in the back. Nothing to fancy but cute nonetheless. Not to mention the spaghetti straps, also, were red. She put on red flats, picked up her purse with everything mentionable in it, and sprung out of her room.
On her way down the spiraling staircase she stopped to see eight very familiar people in the main living room waiting for her. Her smile got bigger and she to one of the couches and quickly plopped herself down. "What do I owe to see my lovely coworkers here today?" They all looked from one another before looking to Carmelle.
"The beach!" They all yelled in unison. Her eyes widened, immediately excited.
"Yes! Yes! And we can eat at the new restaurant there called River field!" She was bouncing on the couch as her friends laughed.
"You always take us to expensive places!" Len told her.
She settled down and frowned. "Do you not want to go?"
He smiled "Nah, I'd be delighted."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After finally reaching the beach with Carmelle's corvette and Jay's BMW getting everyone there. Boy's with boy's, girls with girls. The first thing they did was run right into the beach. Beach ball, volleyball, boogie boarding, sun tanning, ice cream raiding, they did it all. When it was sunset they finally put up their stuff and headed for River Field's. Lonny and Trey sung all the way there with those small, cute voices of theirs. The Kiddies of the group, or so we like to call them. Such cute twins, Carmelle always thought of them as her little siblings.
Entering the building had caused everyone to stare at the small gang walking through. They were all to well known. Even though Carmelle was the only one rich, their business together was known throughout. People older, richer, more famous, would acknowledge them. Oh, did I say more famous? Excuse me that's not true, they were very famous when together. They had connections everywhere they went. That aside, the river field waitress who was to escort them to a table was very nervous. She was about to put them in a table when Carmelle held her hand up and gave a sweet smile in order to stop her. "A round booth would be best if there are any around." The waitress blushed and nodded heading them in the direction of a very beautiful booth."This is great, thank you so much!" Carmelle praised and took a seat far enough to allow everyone else to fill in. "Order up, as much as you want! All on me." Carmelle added to her group of friends smiling greatly.
"All right!" Kain shouted.
"Kain keep your manners! At least thank her!" Kyoko lectured to the poor guy.
Everyone laughed except the two. "Now, now, calm down. I don't mind." Carmelle spoke still giggling.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dinner was over and everyone was heading back to Carmelle's house for a nine man sleep over. seemed more like a party but there was nothing her mansion couldn't handle. "We are staying and Cara's house, we are staying at Cara's house." The little twins sang as Carmelle opened the door. The skipped in, arm in arm, and stopped dead in there tracks. "Hello mister song" They spoke in union and stepped aside so Carmelle could greet her father.
"Father is it okay for my friends to stay over as they always do on the first night of summer?" Carmelle smiled and put her hands behind her back.
"Yes indeed they can." He paused. "Especially since it may be the last time you see them."
The room fell far beyond silent. It felt like the whole world had been swallowed. The nine man gang was going to be split up? Not a single one of them would have thought something like that could ever happen. They looked to each other and then back to Carmelle's father. Urging him to explain just what he was talking about. "Carmelle you will be moving to Tokyo. As for the rest of you" He looked to the other eight intently. "I'll be holding interviews for you."
"But why! I don't want to go to Tokyo! Not without them!" Carmelle was out raged at the thought. She didn't want to be alone.
"I don't want Carmelle to leave either, sir." Trey said. Personally Trey was always intimidated by Carmelle's father. So for him to speak up and against him means a lot.
Carmelle smiled and placed her hand on his shoulders, bending down to reach eye level with him. which wasn't much since he was actually pretty tall. "It'll be alright." He frowned and hugged her. She smiled and rubbed his back.
"Carmelle, you will continue the shop in Tokyo, I have a mansion set up for you and other co workers." He smiled. "I hope you eight are ready to take interviews."
Everyone gaped at this. All of them would go to Tokyo? They all jumped around ecstatic. Just the thought of them breaking away from each other was unbearable so this news was far more then a relief.
"I have your parents consent to send you there as long as I provide housing, food, schooling, etc. Please pack your things and see me at the fallowing times for your interviews in which will be held to make sure you will forever stay loyal to Carmelle during your stay in Tokyo. In other words, It's a repeat of the interview you had two years ago when you came to us." He said this sternly but you could see that in his eyes he was upset and happy all together.

Two years ago
"Carmelle, your as of age Hun!" Her uncle chimed. He was always cheerful. "Now to find your perfect companions!" He skipped over to the phone and picked it up ever so gently while dialing up numbers in a flash. If I didn't know any better I'd say he was gay, but alas he is not.
"Perfect companions? I thought I'd just take over out part of the black market alone. We shouldn't drag anyone unnecessary into these things!" Carmelle's voice was exasperated. Her uncle gave a cold stare and she shut up immediately. Soon after he smiled and walked over to her, placing his arms around her and hugging her gently.
"Is it really so bad? These affairs? Weren't you always looking forward to taking over daddy's steps?" Carmelle huffed in defeat. "Besides! The people who should be your companions are people your age and are already trained and involved. The innocents will not be involved." Uncle always used the term 'innocents' for outsiders. It's a much prettier word and got Carmelle to taking a liking to it. She often uses the term as well. He walked back over to the phone and dialed up the rest of the numbers, chatting quick, small sentences and going onto the next. Once finished he walked back over to Carmelle. "Take pride in this instead of seeing it as such an awful thing." Carmelle sighed. How could her uncle who's so happy go lucky, nothings ever wrong become one of the most feared assassins? She could imagine her father as the leader of there mafia but her uncle? No he did not fit the description of a cold blooded murderer. "Now Carmelle go get dressed! My jeez, If your father saw you in your nightgown right before the interview he'd have you hung!" Carmelle gave a nervous laugh and quickly ran upstairs to get dressed.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Carmelle are you ready?" Her father asked, ready to open the door to our free room. The one I never go in. The one even more forbidden then her fathers office.
She took a deep breath, "Yes."
He opened the door and what she saw were eight kids. Some looked younger and some looked older. They looked so normal, but then again she was sure she did to aside from the fancy clothing. Carmelle took a seat in the one which was sitting in front of all the kids. She put on a professional face and this was how it all started, the gang which would never be defeated. Or so they thought.

The present days
The nine man gang known as the Bloodied stars, one of the deadliest and also friendliest gangs consist of Carmelle, Len, Trey, Lonny, Ruu, Kyoko, Kain, and Rain. Though just kids they're power does not falter. However a threat has arose from slumber and they are the Black thorns. The soul goal of the black thorns is to take down the nine man gang at any cost. Many failed assassinations have happened and a small war has started. This was all because they were sent to Tokyo. Her father purposely sent them there to take out the Black thorns and reign control. It just so happens that this legendary nine man gang has met its match.
The real fight begins when Carmelle thought of a way to win. More members. She decided to use their store that they all nine handle together as a way of figuring who would be worthy. Coupons and background checks. Every customer she saw as capable she would give a certain coupon with a number code. The coupon had an amazing deal and would only apply if you could crack the code. What you use and how you do it was all up to the holder. Even if they cheated they were smart enough to find someway to crack it, making them eligible to join. So far six have cracked the code. Inside the code was directions. Directions on what to do with the thing they held in their hand.
1. Fallow the address on the card
2. slip the card under the door
3. Wait for an ID to be pushed back out
4. Take that ID back to the shop
The ID contained they're picture, name, age, birthday, personal features, and a serial number. Those who decided to continue to do as instructed on the cracked code would go through something unbelievable, impossible, and maybe horrifying all at once. They're training with Carmelle herself. Each consisted of the same thing, gun shooting, presence loss, and hiding. The ways of an assassin.
They keep they're regular lives as kids who own a shop and live together. Some people find it odd that they don't go to school but some figure they're home schooled since they live in such a huge mansion. People often mistake it for an expensive orphanage, others wonder what happened to the parents. Though the same question is asked over and over, who are they?
