She let out a triumphant cry, shooting and smacking her gun in the faces of enemies left and right.
Bits and pieces of decaying flesh coated her skin and clothes, but she no longer cared. Her animal instincts were taking control, and she was untouchable.
Hector climbed down the ladder, and aimed at the zombies that tried to get through. The occasional brain-burst sent gore into the air and rained it down on him and Remmi since they were the only ones close enough to the fence. Eventually, so many bodies piled up that there were not any clear shots of the zombies. So, Hector hurled big rocks over the corpse mound and could here them audibly crunch bones.

Remmi couldn't help but be amazed by the courage of his new companions, and not to mention their brutality. It was almost unheard of for survivors to be this vigilant.

In the distance, a loud roaring could be heard, almost like a train or something of the sort. Half-dazed from lack of sleep, Remmi made his way back up the ladder again to see what was happening. He witnessed an armored L.I.D. APC make it's way into the horde, running over countless creatures, turrets firing from small windows on each side. The siren had alarmed a nearby headquarters of their plea, sending an APC to aid them. After roughly 10 minutes of constant machine gun rattle and tread noises, there was only silence and stench. With the help of the newcomers, the uninfected had overcome the odds.

Making his way down, the loses were evident more now than ever. Most of the elders had passed in the wake of the fighting, and only 7 L.I.D officers posted in this town had survived. The damage was done. Remmi took a seat against a buildings wall, his adrenaline subsiding and fatique showing it's ugly head.
Basil watched as the zombies poured out of the broken door, and into the barbed wire, almost as if he wasn't involved in the whole thing, but just a bystander, kind of like reading a book. He quickly broke out of his daydream, however, and killed a zombie as it climbed over its unfortunate comrades. He looked over to the guy who'd had the intelligence to put the barbed wire up. "These damned things are persistent, aren't they?" He continued fighting, until, finally, the damned things stopped coming. So few survivors were left... He sighed. Well, at least there'd be some open rooms for him to sleep in now.
The horde was dead and gone. Hector sighed, and took his guns off of his shoulders. He felt a heavy fatigue pass over him, and he fell to the ground. Hector's exhaustion got the better of him, and he fainted.
Basil was about to walk away, when he suddenly realised his legs didn't seem to work anymore. He turned his head. Just behind him, a zombie had latched on to his feet, and lurched forward in an attempt to bite him.
Basil caught its head between his feet.
He knew the struggle wouldn't last long if he didn't do something quickly. The zombie was trying to turn its head around enough to bite his leg. It wouldn't take long before it succeeded... Why am I just standing here as this happens... just... just hit it! He tried to lift his arm to strike, but it wouldn't move. Move... MOVE, DAMN IT! He was pathetic... to be too gripped in fear to even do anything to kill this creep writhing beneath his foot...

Hearing the faint grunting of a nearby L.I., Remmi turned his head to see the struggle of the boy abit down the road. He moved in a quick, yet lazy fashion, his arm pulling his side-arm effortlessly and shooting the infected in the back of the head, blood and brains splattering on the man's pant legs. Remmi's pistol fell to the dirt with a thud, he took a long sigh of relief, breathing normally for once in the past hour and a half.
((Thanks for taking care of the passed out dude.))
[[ Was actually going to, but figured i'd let Loriee seeing that those two seem to have abit of a thing going. ;x ]]
((lmao... well, I think I'm going to call it a night.)) Basil sighed again, this time in relief. That was a close shave if he ever saw one. He tried to lift his arm again, but it still wouldn't move, and he felt a great deal of pain further up, near his shoulder... Maybe it was more than fear that kept his arm from moving. He decided to inspect it later. For now, Basil just wanted to find a place to lie down.

(( =P yup))

The horde gone, Loriee slowly came out of her demonic-like transe. She looked around, noticing Hector was on the ground.
"Wow... he passed out, eh?" She smirked a bit, then walked over to him.
"Oi, you, with the frown on your face, mind helping a lady out?" She pointed at Hector, indicating she couldn't lift him on her own.

Remmi nodded to her. He didn't have the energy for sarcasm or harsh behavior. She earned respect and her own comfort and relief. He stood, brushing himself off before walking over to Hector. He lifted the young man with a faint huff, throwing him over his shoulder and walking down the road, signalling the girl to follow. "Are you in need of shelter?"
((And now that Secretseeker is off... I am getting off from the rest of tonight.))
[[Yeah, same here. I'm spent. See you all tomorrow.]]
