((Okay.))
When Detective Kerry arrived, she was told the victim was not Eric Matthews, which came as a big relief. When she entered the room, it showed a grisly scene of guts, burned body parts, and cooked blood. A flashback revealed that the victim had been 'in chains' (arrested) for most of his life, so he would need to escape the chains in his skin and jaw to go free. However, he couldn't remove his jaw chain, so the nail bomb killed him. He couldn't have gotten out because the door was welded shut.
Later on, Detective Kerry was abducted from her home, and strapped into a device which would rip off her chest's skin if she didn't escape. The key to unlock it was in a jar of acid. She unlocked the lock, but could not get it off. Her final sight was of Amanda before the skin was ripped off of her.
The gory scene still disgusted Hector, so he gave a little shiver.
