Welcome to Gaia! ::

"Alright," he whispered back. Hector figured that there were zombie-hunting caravans. How else would they hunt zombies, send out one person in each direction? No. If Hector remembered right, then Loriee's whole caravan was destroyed by LI's. Hopefully, their caravan wouldn't share the same fate.

"So, anyway, what do you say we go check out the training grounds? If it's anything like the other base, they have some pretty sweet stuff for us to use."
She leaned back, looking at the two enticingly. The training arena at her old base had everything from an olympic sized pool to a huge ropes course. Loriee had spent every day of her short time there using every piece of equipment to her advantage. Most girls were obsessed with makeup or clothes. Loriee was in love with physical activity.
"Sure. But just in case they have a shooting range..." Hector quickly disappeared into his room and came back out with his weapons. "I'm ready."

"Super! Let's go!"
Grabbing both Rita and Hector by the hand, Loriee began to walk at a quick pace towards where she assumed the training grounds must be.
She brushed past the guards, who, realizing there was absolutely no point in arguing with this girl, stood aside, a bewildered look on their faces.
When they arrived at the training ground, Hector saw a ton of obstacles. He saw a fake building wall with tons of windows, which is apparently similar to a rock climbing course, a crawling course with barbed wire, wood, and hurtles at the end. Hector also saw a firing range, and an obstacle course which involved cars, shattered glass, wooden barricades, and more barbed wire. "Just like the Russian army grounds..."

"Hm?"
Letting go of Rita and Hector, Loriee glanced up at Hector, not hearing what he'd said. She had been distracted, looking around the training ground. They had a much bigger facility here, with nicer training equipment as well as more realistic sets for them to practice on.
"Just like the training grounds in the Russian army."

"Oh really, now? So you must be a pro at these things." She said teasingly, punching him lightly in the arm.
Loriee turned and headed of to the training course without waiting for the other two, in order to get a better look. This place was like a dream come true. Maybe she'd bring her gun back here later and do some target practice. Or maybe, if she was lucky, they'd give her a gun to practice with. The thought made her giddy with excitement and she began skipping towards her destination.
"Actually, not really. It was a school field trip. But we were threatened with dea th if we ever told anyone about it." Hector went to his destination, which was the obstacle course. Nothing wrong with improving your parkour.
Hector walked up to a faded sign that said 'Test Yourself,' and below it on hooks were stopwatches. He took one off and put it on around his neck. Hector pressed the button and was off. He leaped onto the hood of a car and ran across it in two long strides and jumped off of it onto the roof of another car. Hector then quickly climbed into a tipped school bus and made his way to the other end. After climbing out, he made his way over toppled electricity poles and light posts, careful not to trip and get a face-full of glass. Hector then began to climb over a makeshift wooden barricade. When he reached the top, he jumped down and reached the end. Hector pressed the stop button on the stopwatch and looked at his time. "24 seconds, 41 milliseconds." He looked around for the exit, and found it with a chalk-board next to it that said 'Course Record' with '45.32' below it. Hector erased it and put '24.41' on it. Hector then exited the course and the leaned up against a parked car to regain his strength and stamina.

She turned to see Hector leaving the obstacle course, changing the time on the chalkboard. He'd beaten the record by over 20 seconds.
She licked her lips gazing curiously at the course. Maybe she'd give it a try herself, and see if she could beat the Russian boy. Grinning at the personal challenge, she headed over, grabbing a stopwatch for herself.
Hector made his way back to the front of the course, seeing that Loriee had decided to try to go through the course. "I don't think that you're going to beat my record." Something caught his eye behind her, and it was a medical kit. "Wow, they expect people to get hurt during the course.

She laughed at his remark.
"Watch me."
Loriee then headed into the course, hitting the start button on her stop watch and taking off, heading through it as swiftly as she could. When she finally got to the end, she hit the stop button, panting.
"25 seconds flat. Damn..." She looked up at his score, a look of annoyance on her face.
"Well, whatever. Not like it matters or anything." But of course it did. Loriee hated being beat. Or losing a challenge.
"It's still pretty fast, if 40 seconds was the last record." Hector headed over to the rock climbing wall, where he easily slipped on the harness and hooked himself up to the automatic retracting rope at the top. He noticed that there were more harnesses. "It's always competitive."

She rolled her eyes, acting like she didn't care, although she was tempted to do the course again, just to see if she could beat it.
Loriee watched him head over to the rock wall. She would have done it herself if it weren't for the fact that she was wearing a dress. Instead she walked over to the corner, where an icebox full of water was. She grabbed a water and took a large gulp, watching Hector climb the wall, admiring his arm muscles.
