Rita was in her room just sitting on the bed. She couldn't sleep. She was tired as hell, but for some reason her eyes refused to close and her mind wouldn't shut up about the recent events. Rita sighed and rubbed her face. Might as well forget sleep. She got up and went over to the bathroom, taking a quick shower. After she got dressed she quietly left her room. Maybe she could take a little walk and think for a while. Rita was still outside her room door when she smelled food. She shook her head. It smelled good, but she couldn't eat. Ever since she killed her father she refused to eat breakfast without him.

Rita chewed her bottom lip, " Wow...they didn't happen to be any relatives, did they?" she asked, referring to the zombies. She actually found it pretty scary since even one zombie was already a nightmare for her.

"Just a couple of drunk friends who needed a place to crash the night before."

Rita nodded in acknowledgement, " Did you come here on your own? I mean aside from the other survivors," Rita tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. Suddenly her lack of sleep and empty stomach began to get to her, however she did her best to ignore it.

"I drove for about six hours until I met the first survivor."

Rita's eyes widened slightly, " Six hours? That's a pretty long time driving," she pressed her back against the wall, making it look like she was just relaxing, but really she was using it for support, " Wish I had my uncle's quad, it would have been better instead of running for my life from hungry zombies," Rita leaned her head back against the wall, " So are you excited about joining the L.I.D?"

((Alright. Just post your profile so we don't miss out on anything about you. Here's the story so far.

The group of six survivors, being Ash, Rita, Shiori, Azrael, Hector, and Loriee, arrived at the city. They became L.I.D. army members, and Loriee revealed that she was already a member. Flirtatious Loriee seems to have set her eyes on Hector, and he has indeed warmed up to her too. and uh... that's pretty much it?))

Rita's eyes widened slightly, " Six hours? "Sort of. Better than a normal life, which really wouldn't be one since you know that the whole world is messed up. Plus, I would really like to kill some more zombies for revenge."

Rita frowned slightly and turned her head to look at Hector, " Revenge, huh?" she cocked an eyebrow then shrugged, " Can't blame you," Rita closed her eyes and sighed, " The whole world isn't just messed up, it's become a living hell itself," At that moment a small question came into her head, " Hector, do you think...do you think we'll survive this?" she asked quietly, opening her eyes again and trying to swallow the sore lump that began to form in her throat.

"I think we will. We just need to get back a sense of government."

Loriee saw the girl arguing with the guards. It made her giggle softly. Stupid guards. They always chose the dumb ones to take care of LID members. Maybe it was so they didn't lose valuable people if the commoners decided to revolt. Not that they would. The LID was the only thing that stood between them and the zombies. It would be foolish of them to do anything to change that.
Then Loriee saw the girl (Rita, was it?) chatting it up with Hector. Jealousy flared up in her, but only for an instant. She kept her cool, and nonchalantly walked up to the pair. Loriee smiled her big smile, feeling like a king of kings to be so cool as to not be super jealous over not being the center of attention for once.
"Hey guys. So, how are you liking you're new rooms? Pretty snazzy, eh?"
She tapped the side of her head and winked, as if she were discussing something top secret with the two. Technically, it was. But as long as they stayed within these hallways, they were pretty much allowed to talk about whatever they wanted.

"Gee, I asked that two minutes ago," he mentioned, "but anyway, they're good. I might live here forever."

"Yeah, well, I wasn't here a minute ago." She replied, sticking her tongue out at Hector.
She then nodded adamantly at his next remark.
"Pretty much. Don't get too comfortable, though. They have nice homes because they like to butter you up and make you think you're something special before they send you out in a caravan to fight zombies. Those really suck. But that's just between you and me, ya got it?"
Loriee had leaned in to whisper much of what she said, glancing left and right to make sure no one of importance was around to hear what she said. This information was definately top secret. In fact, Loriee shouldn't have been talking about it. But she figured she liked these two, and it was the least she could do to warn them of the future.
