Welcome to Gaia! ::

Rita wandered around the city, trying to remember what had happened before. Whatever it was she must have left her wrench on the street she had been on previously. Rita didn't want to lose it, it was the only thing she had left of her deceased father. She knew it would be stupid if she went back to get it, especially without a weapon. The girl sighed heavily and frowned. Might as well forget it. Rita continued to walk the city with no clue as to where she was going.

The Sarge, leaning back on the bar, he looked down at himself and then the Russian. "No. Do I look like I need help?" He looked back up at the man with a big grin on his face and gave the girl a wink. He was very careful about it but he had placed tracers on the two. "You two stay outta trouble now." He left the bar and jumped in an Army jeep that pulled up and drove off.

"Huh..." She noticed who Hector was talking to.
Turning to face the man, she put her hands on her hips, giving her a fierce, yet sexy appearance.
"The hell do you want?"
She looked carefully at this man. He was pretty cute too. Gosh, she was lucky. It seemed the zombies were only infecting the ugly people, sparing all the really hot guys. Lucky for her. She grinned despite the situation. Even if he was going to try to kill her, or whatever, at least he was hot.
"He sort of brushed pretty close up for this much space." Hector brushed off his clothes in case any crumbs had transferred from the man to him. He walked out soon after the man, and looked up and down the street. "I think the stores are closer to the truck."

She looked in the direction he was pointing.
"Alright, let's go!"
Loriee grabbed his hand and dragged him along down the street, for a girl she had pretty long strides. Pretty soon, they were up near there entrance, where the truck was.
"Hmmm... do you see a convienance store anywhere?"
She was looking around carefully, trying to find one, though there was a good chance she had missed one.
Rita rubbed her face in exhaustion. She just woke up, but for some reason she felt like she had no energy. Rita slowed her pace and leaned up against the nearest building. Slowly she slid to the ground, bringing her knees up to her chest and resting her head back on the wall. Rita closed her eyes, but she wasn't asleep. Her mind was still alert with her surroundings.
"Yep, riiiiiiiiight there, right next to us." He pointed up to a sign that said 'Convenience Store.' "Looks like they sell guns."

He was having difficulties sleeping. One reason was because kids kept runing around the cots. The other was because a voice was suddenly projected over the intercom.

ATTENTION: WOULD THE 6 REFUGEES THAT ARRIVED THIS MORNING PLEASE MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE FRONT GATE!

This really made it impossible for him to sleep.
"God damnit! Stupid a** parents can't keep their kids under control." He continued to talk under his breath angrily. It was a good thing he wasn't very far from the gate.

((g2g be on tomorrow))

"Oh, good. Though... they probably won't take $12 for a gun."
As she said this, she pulled the bills from her bra, looking at it sadly. Oh well, at least she could still buy some chapstick.
Still holding onto his hand, Loriee walked into the store, looking around. Ah. There. Chapstick. Letting go of Hector's hand, Loriee grabbed one from the shelf and walked towards the counter with it.

"That'll be two fifty, miss."
s**t. Since when had chapstick been so expensive. She sighed, and shelled up the cash. Once the man handed her the balm, she opened it and rubbed it on her lips. Ahhhh, sweet relief.
Now that that was taken care of, onto serious business.
"So, got any guns I can trade this in for?"
She hefted up her shotgun onto the counter for the clerk to view.
Rita opened her eyes wearily when she had heard the speaker calling for refugees. She used the building for support as she got to her feet. The front gate. Rita was a bit nervous, but her sullen expression said something entirely different. Slowly she began to walk back to the front gate, wondering what it was that they wanted.

(( A'ight, see ya ))
"Yep, what kind are you looking for?" The man slid back a fake portion of wall to reveal a gun rack. "Rifles? Automatics? Assault? Pistols? Another shotgun?"
Hector heard a loud announcement over the intercom. "We got here in a group of six."
"Well, then, if it is you, then prepare to enter a living hell called the army."

"Hold that thought..."
She grabbed her shotgun off the counter and followed Hector to the entrance, a puzzled look on her face. She wondered if they had gotten in trouble. Maybe they were going to contain them, because they suspected them to be zombies. But how could they have possibly confused them for zombies, when they had made conversation with the guards and everything.
When Hector and Loriee reached the entrance, they saw the guy from the bar, an L.I.D. official, and two soldiers. "Prepare to be press-ganged into the L.I.D.," he whispered to Loriee.
