They say that in just one day the world changes completely, what about if three years passed by? New York City is no longer how you remember it to be, and the goal that everyone was after had changed greatly. No, it didn't change for the worse. More like it changed for the better, way better. New York City is no long known what it used to be, it's now called Neo Empire. You thought that the Empire state building was tall? Think again my friend, since technology advanced so much over the time all the buildings these days hang high in the sky. Not only has building changed but the things that humans used so much evolved such as computers and cell phones, cars, boats, air plane, everything you can think of as changed. Not only that but some of the laws have changed as well. Slaves were now legal, people who qualify as slave are those who have powers. Slaves who had power were created by a bunch of scientist that were working for the government in creating super soldiers. At first they were successful but gangs caught whiff of this and started kidnapping trucks filled with these beings. But as the years passed the government shut down there operation and were ordered to do something with these slaves since they couldn't be allowed to walk around freely without causing some sort of problem. Some of the scientist let the slaves escape before they were picked up and the ones who didn't escape were taken to shops to be sold off to the masses. But just so they weren't used for bad and people could know who was normal and who was not they made the slaves were a green jade earring that limited there powers.
Since there was a limited amount of slaves to sale they became rather expensive. Also working at the shops were hunters who went out into the world looking for the escaped slaves to bring back and sell.

Gang activity grew fast..just as fast as Neo Empire grew and expanded into the place it had become. Not only did some grow some just disappeared off the face of the earth not to be seen by the naked eye but they were there all right. Just plotting and scheming away planing on ways to make money and pretty much whatever you can think of. There were five boroughs in Neo Empire, but of course there names were changed as well. Bronx, whichObscure Chaos{A group of women} ran was now called Ravija. Brooklyn's name was changed to Achindra, which the group of men called Giichi ran. Queens was no longer called that it was now called Evdokiya and a gang of both women and men called D.G AKA Damaged Goods ran the place. Staten Island changed its name to Iskra and a secret organization called Uttara ran things there. And to a weird surprise there is one another gang that appeared out of the blue that had still not made there presence known consisted of a few very rare slaves that had escaped from the labs. They were simply called X and were waiting to take over Neo Empire and take what is rightfully theirs and to gain the respect that they longed for. Where they were hiding? In Manhattan of course, that was the only place in Neo Empire that didn't get a name change. Since Manhattan was known so well they didn't see the point in changing it's name. The real problem now is that these gangs are looking to expand once more, and even if they didn't expand they wanted to get there hands on Manhattan. The most expensive place a person could possibly live at and on top of that they made the most money. Since everyone is after the same thing it's going to make things rather difficult don't you think? And the fact that X is hiding out there planing there attack against the other gangs wasn't going to help either.

And the question is simple and is always the same.
Who will gain Manhattan?

Anako sat slouched in a dark room in her black leather chair as her long jet black hair fell over her face. Sitting on her lap she had a rag doll that she had bought not that long ago but she was already getting bored with it. As her golden eyes stared down at it she placed a hand on the dolls head and quickly ripped it's head off to then toss it over her shoulder. It was about time that she went out to get another doll but she was so lazy to go outside but it had to be done. Or she would just die of boredom and that really wasn't an option for her really. Getting up from her chair she bent over to pick up her heavy steel mask and clasped it on to her had making sure it attached to the horns as well.

Ace sat in the main room of the Uttara base resting in an over stuffed leather chair. His head was resting against the back of the chair and he drummed his fingers on the arm rest to a soft song. Every so often he glanced at his phone to find the time, with a sigh he just put his phone away before taking out the hunting knife he always carried with him anymore. Slowly he started to pick at his hand with the shape blade, removing a few calices from his rough hands. He didn’t have anything else to do today and was just waiting for Xara to show up to give him a smile on his face. The only thing good in his life anymore was her, and he hated it whenever she was away from his side. Of cores he stressed about her way to much, but it was all worth it to have someone he loved by his side.

Zack Huffman

The pain can be forgotten... and the wounds can heal...

The rapid movement of Zack's eyes could be seen under his eyelids. His muscles tensed as he mind played painful memory after memory. First was the death of his mother, then the experiments of his father, followed by the death of his first master, the unpleasant meeting of Anako's father. Then it jumped to him finding Anako after she had been taken. Unlike the others this memory was filled with a slight happiness, in relief of finally finding his love. Though it was forgotten when he had found out what had happened to her. Since then he had vowed to kill anyone who he found out to be in a rival gang, without question or mercy.

He was relived from the nightmarish dreams when he felt the door hit his head. His eyes shot open as he quickly sat up, seeing Anako, or the 'horned goddess' emerging from the dark room. Even though he'd seen it countless times, the sight of her mask still seemed to turn his blood cold. "G-good morning.." He said with a bow of his head, not sure of what time it actually was.

..but the memories... they will always be there...

Xara grabbed her coffee and took a sip. She was supposed to go back and meet Ace, but she didn't feel like doing much today.... She never felt like doing much lately. She sent him a message, hoping he wouldn't be mad or disappointed. "Sorry. Have something to do. Will be back later. -X" Afterwards, she put some money on the table for the waitress, and left the cafe. She rearranged the holster on her waist, then walked towards the general direction of Iskra.

"Hm?" Anako peered out the door to see that Zack had fallen asleep in front of it, it made her wonder how long he had been there but it didn't cross her head to much. Crouching down in front of him, which was a bit difficult because of the kimono, she gently patted his head and pulled the mask up a bit to kiss his cheek. Pulling it back down she stood up and pushed the door open fully now to then step over him. "I'm going out, come if you want." She stated in a slightly cold voice as she walked over to Kat's door and began knocking on it. It had been a long time since she had seen someone from her country but she didn't feel an attachment to the girl. "Let's go." She stated as she walked over to a wall and leaned against it giving them a chance to get ready or whatever it was they needed.

A slight smile crossed Zack's face when he felt Anako's lips press against his cheek. It reminded him of times before the incident as he now called it, the end of true happiness. Hearing her talk about going out he stood up almost instantly, while he knew that she wasn't weak he wanted to be by her side as much as he could. He picked up the leather jacket he had used as a blanket and slid it on before stretching his arms out, hearing a pop. How long was I asleep for?..

..but the memories... they will always be there...
