Eli gave a small laugh at that before stepping away from the tree and phasing at the same moment. He sensed Kris's mind coming near him and decided it wouldn't kill him to wait a few moments to see if Kris said something or showed up. He had to wait for Cari to climb onto his back anyway. Speaking of which, he thought before he padded out from behind the tree, laying down and waiting for her.

Cariela's dark eyes took in the sight of his wolf form once again. She was in awe for a moment before blinking, a blush lightly coloring her cheeks. She has been staring. He laid on his stomach a foot away from her, waiting for her to climb on. Sighing softly, she mounted him, burrying herself in his warm fur. Maybe they could finally relax soon... The sound of paws approtching them made her pick her head up, looking at the wolf bonding into the medow. It was the biggest wolf again. The reminded her that she should ask Eli about it when they got to his house so he could change.

Kris breathed deeply, keeping on the wolf's trail. Cariela's scent was also mixed in with his scent, so it was stronger and easier to track. Carefully bounding into the medow, he slowed a bit, not to scare the two. Padding up to the wolf and human, he told them, The vampire is dead and burned. The fear is gone. His own thoughts were happy. He was glad the bloodsucker was dead; it felt good to be free of fear. I just wanted to tell you; I'll be off now. Nodding to both of them, Kris was off again, a graceful and powerful wolf. His paws pounded on the ground as he ran through the forest. His thoughts were peaceful, free of any real emotion. He was always free when he was running.

Jason decided to head home. It was about time he got some rest. Reaching home, Jason phased, and again climbed in through his window. Sighing, he stayed on his bed after pulling on a pair of boxers. Closing his eyes, he fell asleep almost instantly.

Ayame closed her goldern brown eyes. I can't go back. I-I just can't. H-He-He'll kill me AND Jason... the girl desperatly thought, tears dripping down her cheeks. I-I need my forest. And with that thought, she drove. She didn't know how long, far or fast she drove, but she drove until she could hear, see and smell was her forest. Little did she know, she was on the edge of the forest near Jason's house. But, nothing of him crossed her mind as she stopped the car, sliding out onto the wet, muddy ground. Her soft, perfect hair clung to the dirt, just as her purple dress became caked with mud on the side. But, she didn't care. She was in her element.

That was until the rain started up again. It poured down upon the forest in buckets upon buckets, drenching the girl. After a while, her body got so cold, she sat up, shivering like hell. Wrapping her arms around herself, she tilted her head to the sky and howled like a wolf. It wasn't exactly a wolf howl, but it was as close as a human could get to one. Her boys always told her if she needed any help, that she should howl like a wolf. A few minutes past, but no one came for her. All hopes of someone finding her were lost as she slumped back into the cold mud.

Jason heard something in his subconcious, and his mind began to think of Ayame. She had turned into a wolf and had howled. Opening his eyes just as he heard the last of a non-wolf howl, Jason rubbed his eyes. "What?" He looked out into the dark, and had a thought of something wrong. Half not wanting to leave the softness of his bed, Jason pulled open his window, and climbed out. Half stumbling through his yard, He phased and sniffed the air. Over the promenint smell of the rain, Jason thought he'd picked up the scent of Ayame. Cocking his head to the side, Jason followed his nose.

The girl eyes dripped with tears, soaking her face even more as she laid in the dirt. She was nothing. Nothing was going right since Jason had left. Suddenly, she craved his warm touch, his gentle smile and his beauitful eyes. Oh, his eyes! she gasped into her thoughts, only crying harder. Her heavy sobs racked her body, but she was already shivering so hard, it didn't make a difference. Suddenly, she heard the russling of grasses over the sounds of the rain. Siting up quickly, she whinced slightly at the headrushed, her vistion spinning for a moment before she could make out what it was. It was a wolf shape in the distance. But, something about this wolf drew Ayame to him. It was like an invisble fishing line, drawing her small, dirty, wet form to him. She started to crawl weakly and slowly tword him.

Jason heard sobbing over the plopping of the rain, and went towards the sound. He saw someone, and sniffed the air. Ayame! he thought, and watched as she crawled towards him. She shivered, and Jason whimpered slightly. He walked towars her, and once he was in front of her, He whimpered again. Walking around her, Jason nudged her shoulder.

The girl watched the wolf pad tword her. She knew this wolf. The eyes, the fur, the stance. Sobbing quietly now, she threw her arms around him, letting her tears catch in his fur as she clung to him for dear life. "Jason," she choked out. Something about this wolf was so close to how he made her feel. Save, warm, protected. "Let's go, boy. Let's run away and never come back. We don't need this place. We're two free spirits." she whispered, struggling to catch her breath and take control of her emotions.

Jason whimpered again, and licked her cheek. I should take her back to my place. Gramps won't mind. And besides, I need to know why she was out here. Jason nudged Ayame again, and started in the direction of his house. He wagged his tail slowly. Come on, Ayame, Jason said, hoping she'd understand his meaning.

User Image
A normal person wouldn't follow a wolf. But, Ayame wasn't a normal person, even more so in her current state. So, she stood up out of the mud, body still shaking from the cold and the crying. Forcing her legs to support her weight, she followed after the large, furry wolf. What did she have to loose at this point? Jasonl, was the only thing she could think of, but he would understand, right? Mentally shrugging, she kept on hand on the wolf's side as they walked through the forest.

Jason led Ayame to his house, and once they reached the yard, Jason led her to the back door, before disapearing into his room through his window, phasing as he jumped in. Once in his human state, Jason pulled on some clothes, before leaving his room, grabbing a large blanket and opening the back door. "Hey," he said, smiling softly and wrapping Ayame up in the blanket. "Come on," he said.

User Image
The girl carefully opened the door the wolf lead her up to, watching him jump into an open window. Strange... Shrugging, she stepped inside, being greeted by a very human Jason. "You...? Wolf...?" she asked, eyes narrowed in confustion. But, she gladly took the blanket he wrapped around her, hugging it around her wet and dirty body. Hopefully, he wouldn't mind it getting wet and muddy. But, she thought of a quicker way to get warm. Holding onto Jason's shoulders, she jumped up, wrapping her legs around his waist. "Carry me?" she whispered in question, hugging herself close to her warm teddy bear.

Jason chuckled at her confusement, and when she jumped onto him, Jason chuckled again. "Of course," Jason wrapped his arms around her, and carried her to his room, where he would find some clean and warm clothes for her. Walking into his room, Jason set her on his bed, and gave her his blankets. Scared that she could catch hypothermia, Jason looked at her. "You okay?" He asked.

User Image
Wrapping herself into a small cacoon of blankets, Ayame shook her head when he asked if she was okay. "I'm fine, but can I use your shower?" Flicking her hair a bit, she added, "My hair feels like it's caked in mud..." After that, she could change and he would have a lot of explaining to do.
