She had started the trip leaning over the edge of the ship admiring the water. The adrenaline of going to unexplored territory and excitement for finally paying back her king and queen for everything they had ever done for her had coursed through her veins. Now though she simply leaned against a wall tapping her pencil gently out of habit. She had started to sketch different faces and poses of the passengers. As the boat pulled up to their destination she found herself straightening and brushing her blue skirts off. Rosalind never thought she’d be relieved to put her sketchbook down.

She started to grab her bag before a maid rushed up uttering she could get it. Rosalind’s eyebrows creased in slight frustration. Did they think her so incompetent as to carry her own bags? She simply sighed and did not bother arguing this early on. It seemed pretty useless since she didn’t even know where her rooms were. So instead she gave a nod of her head and departed with a soft ‘thank you’. Her blond hair swished behind her as she moved gracefully into the building. Her azure blue eyes only gave a swift glance at the sign before using her keen ears to follow voices down a hall to her right. As she entered the room she stood behind a pretty girl with jet black hair. she smiled at the others and gave the best smile she could muster up. With a nod of her head she gave a court introduction, "Hello, I'm Rosalind of the wind kingdom." She looked at the girl with white hair surrounded by flames curiously and asked, "Impressive. I'm not intruding on anything am I?"

Raven turned to the new girl who walked in. She mentally sighed "Another female, of course." Hello Rosalind, My name is Raven of the Dark kingdom. Come, sit with us and eat. I promise we don't bite. Well too hard anyway." She smiled, hoping she would here the joking tone in her voice.

"Well it's a pleasure to meet you." She chuckled lightly at the girls comment before sitting down in an empty seat. "Well, thank you for the warning." Her light smile only showed amusement. She was glad her first Encounter with the group of royals wasn’t all too awkward, like she had been anticipating. She looked across the table skeptically to the strawberry blond boy who was still looking disgusted at his cup. She frowned and asked the white haired girl named Raven, “Is the wine truly that terrible?

Amerie just sat in her seat silently, it was strange for her being around this many people, it was strange for her to be around any people really. She just sat and listened to her thoughts, she was secretly writing, but did not want to seem strange by actually doing so. She just hoped the direction of conversation never made its way to include her.

He scowled at his sister as he spoke, "I'd like to see you try and chug down something that turns to ash in your mouth." He crossed his arms like an indignant child as he continued, "Who are you calling a boy anyway? I'm sixteen, not six." He turned to Rosalind, rolling his eyes, and whispered jokingly, "See what I have to put up with?" He turned his attention to the table top and inhaled deeply. He soon smiled wistfully to himself as he poured a deep red liquid into his now empty mug. He took a sip and sighed as the familiar taste rolled down his throat.

There's a hole in the world like a great black pit,
and the vermin of the world inhabit it,
and it's morals aren't worth what a pig can spit,
and it goes by the name of London.

At top of the hole sit the previlaged few,
making mock of the vermin in the lonely zoo,
turning beauty to filth and greed..

(( was going to make a new one, but decided to go with this one. ))

Alexander Grave Benson the 2nd watched the others as they talked and yawned. He was already getting bored with just sitting by himself. He looked around and saw that he wasn't the only one not in the conversation. He looked over at her wondering what she was doing.

Alex brushed his hair back and then stood up. He walked over and sat down next to Amerie. "Hello."

Amerie sighed as a guy came and sat next to her and said hi. She gave him a small wave and a fake smile, as she pulled the notebook and pencil from her bag. 'Im Amerie, nice to meet you, i cant talk' she wrote and passed the book to him, she wasnt embarrassed to be a mute.

User Image"Well why did you drink it if you knew that would happen?" This was something Raven was used to. She and her brother bickered constantly over little things, though they never lasted long and were soon forgotten. And when it comes to drinking alcohol, yes you are still a boy." She watched her brother drink the nasty liquid. I'll never understand, no matter what you are, how you can stand to drink that metallic tasting liquid."

He gave a look as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, "Because I didn't. That's the point of trying new things." He rolled his eyes at the boy comment, but let it slide. There were somethings he knew he wasn't going to win on. At least not yet. He looked at his hand that still held the cup, "Way of survival, mate." I took a sip before continuing on, "And once you get past the simple fact of what it is it really isn't all to bad." His eyes glinted mischievously as he let his canines flash in the light, "It's ten times better when fresh anyway." He leaned back in his seat casually and smiled at her with his signature lazy grin.

((@smeganmasen - thanks ^^ ))

Alex looked down at the the notebook that she handed over to him a little confused but when he read it he understood. So she was mute, that was probally why she didn't join in the conversation. He nodded and handed the notebook back to her. "I see, my name's Alexander, it's nice to meet you as well Amerie." He wasn't really bothered about her being mute, he also didn't mind reading everything.

User Image"Oh please, you haven't scared me with that one since we were little." She turned to Rosalind. You see what I have to deal with also no? Salem had finally made his way back to Raven, rubbing up against her legs apologetically. She pets him to show he's forgiven. Salem you know I can't stay mad at you.

She noticed the other two guests and waved at them, insisting they join in on the conversation.

Amerie looked to Alexander when Raven waved at them to get them to join in. 'do you mind explaining to them please, they want us to talk as well.' she wrote and passed it to him, she didnt feel anything at the moment, her emotions sometimes turned her into a different person and right now she didnt know who she was, she just felt empty and lost, probably her true self, that is the first thing she felt after the tragedy

He shrugged with a grin still plastered on his face, "Ah, it was worth a shot." He yawned and emptied the cup in one gulp. He didn't care if he looked like a glutton. He hadn't fed since the beginning of the voyage and it was starting to show. His throat's burning was starting to die down. He started on another glass and gently mused whether it was possible to get drunk off of blood. After all these years he had never considered it before. He wanted to try it, but didn't think now would be the appropriate time.
