When his hand touched her face to remove the hair, she felt herself shiver. It was in the best sort of way. Making her want more of him, more that she knew she could not have. At least not now. "Yes tonight will be a night to remember..." she said softly feeling her throat close up again. Speaking to him was quite complicated at the moment. She had never met a guy like him before, not in any of the kingdoms she had met with previously today. Her sister would have congradulated her.

Again, Adelline felt herself move closer to him, It is so dark outside that no one would be able to see us...and if they do they could not possibly know who we were right? she thought about this for a moment, but knew that it was wrong. He was betrothed, so was she. They had just met and her heart was pounding. This could just be a simple crush, an illusion. It really did not feel that way to her though. Never before had her heart beat so hard or her legs felt so weak. Perhaps it was his vampire charm, but she had a feeling it had nothing to do with that.

Amerie watched him. He seemed so uncomfortable, so awkward to her, but maybe that was just her misreading things. She watched him turn his gaze after trailing off about him not having siblings. She approached him and wrapped her arms around him in a hug. She hugged him loosely so he could push her away if he didnt want to hug back.

His thumb stroked her cheek gently as he smiled lightly down at her. It would certainly be a night to remember. He knew he would never be able to forget the way the moon light shone off her hair or the way her heart had sped up. James loved the feeling of being so close to someone. It was all very new to him and he didn't want this moment to end. Unfortunately everything would be back to the way it was tomorrow. The most they could do is perhaps meet in secret, but that would be it. He pushed those negative thoughts away though. He knew he should just enjoy the precious seconds they have together.

So looking down at Adelline he offered a sincere smile that even reached his eyes. He leaned down slightly and wondered if she liked him the same way. All he had to judge by was he heart beat. It had quickened before, but that could be out of fear for what he was. So he was taking a risk as he slowly and carefully closed the rest of the distance between his and her lips. The contact was soft so she could pull away if she wanted to. It was her choice is she wanted t continue or not. Though he deeply hoped she wouldn't pull away. Even the small contact sent a small shiver down his spine. It wasn't like the cheesy fireworks in the background, but something more.

Clearly he was rather surprised by her actions, that and he wasn't too sure of how to respond. It felt good, granted, but what should he do? He had never been in such a situation before.
Finally he simply left his instincts take over, and felt his own arms slip back around her in response. He than felt his arms pull them slightly closer, and soon could even feel the warm of her body. Yes, it felt good indeed. Should he really be feeling this way?

Her first instinct was to pull away from him, her second was to stay close. She decided to obey the second one. No one would ever have to know about this. She thought pressing her hands to the sides of his face and throat. Adelline felt as though a spark ran through her veins at this moment, and it was making her heart stop. It was one of the most insane feelings she had ever felt.

After a moment she pulled away, and was blushing fiercely. She could not figure out what to say, all that managed to slip past her lips was "Secrets..." she laughed slightly, since she was still pretty close to his face. Unable to say much more, she closed the distance once more to kiss him again, and again she felt the sparks.

He felt himself smile against her lips. His hands wrapped around her wait holding her in an embrace. His brain was practically muddled together by all the new sensations he was going through. He didn't want the moment to end. Softly he kissed her neck with his eyes closed and felt her gentle, steady pulse under his lips. It was his vampire instincts hidden within him that had led him here. He knew he would never bite her without her consent though. James wouldn't endanger her if there was much more temptation. He couldn't bring it upon himself to bite her. It wasn't even an option. He couldn't possibly do that to someone he had such high feelings for. No matter how their blood sang to him. So slowly he ran a trail of kisses up her neck and back again to her mouth. He let out a small chuckle and smiled against her lips again. The moment was utter bliss.

She practically stopped breathing when she felt his lips on her neck, of course she expected him to bite and she braced herself for it. Adelline was quite surprised when she did not feel his bite on her neck, and even more surprised when he came back to her lips and smiled. He was happy, how two complete strangers could be talking one moment and in a loving embrace the next both surprised and scared her.

She knew nothing really of him, yet she felt as though she may be in love. It's not that silly of an idea... she thought to herself as she felt herself smile as well. It amazed her that she had not yet pushed him away from her or tried to pull away, she was not the type of girl to go around making out with every guy who she found absolutely amazing... not like that happened very often.
