carna grabed her mp3 player and went oustide. the clouds up in the sky looked like huge pellows and the sky was a robins egg blue. she sighed as she turned on her mp3 and switched the song to a linkin park song. a large pine tree sat near the house, so carna decided to sit under it. thoughts of how her mom ruined her life flew through her head.

Psyche picked up on that "I was going to ask whats the nightlife like?" she asked knowing the girl would catch her coded meaning

carna got up from the ground and looked around her yard. "where's my sister?" she mumbled to herself as she held tightly onto her mp3 players. a slight sigh rushed out of her mouth and carna walked around. the neighborhood seemed really quite, but that was fine by her. it's not like she wanted friendly neighbors crowding around her, trying to just say 'hi! i'm your new neighbor'.

Maria's lips quirked, almost into a smile. "The night life has a saying.....dead is the new alive." behind her lips her tounge hit her fangs.

Manda watched the girl rise from her place under her tree. That was one of the new girls. Might as well say hi. She walked up behind her. "Hello."

carna stoped in mid-walk as she slowly turned to the girl. and this is what i had hoped to get away from, she tought to herself as she forced her self to smile. "um..hi." she waved at the girl with her fake smile. her mp3 player was still in her hand, but was now switched off.

Manda half-smiled. This person had been hopeing to avoid people. "I'm Manda." She stated. Manda pointed a finger at this new person's mp3 player. "Nice mp3." She figured this seemed casual enough.

carna looked down at her mp3 and nodded. "thanks..um..i'm carna." she still wondered where her sister was, but at the moment she was busy with a neighbor. "i'm new here..um..i guess could you show me around?"
though carna had tried to advoied neighbors, it was to late now. might as well make the best of it.

Manda nodded. "Sure. It's not that big. Come'n." She bagan to walk off.

carna glaned around the at the houses as they walked. the neighborhood seemed normal, but strange. though carna couldn't put her finger on the strange part. she decided to tal while they walked. "so..um..how long have you lived here?" that seemed like a good question.

"From the time I was a pup." Manda told Carna. She pointed. "That's main street. All the stores are there."
