And if the sun comes up will it tear the skin right off our bones
And then as razor sharp white teeth rip out our necks I saw you there
Someone get me to the doctor, someone get me to a church
Where they can pump this venom gaping hole
And you must keep your soul like a secret in your throat
And if they come and get me
What if you put the spike in my heart?

indentimentimentSpire let out a small sigh before approaching Gemma, interrupting her."I think that this is why I don't get along with you and the rest of the coven. You don't seem to understand that we are no better than the wolves we raged war with. We are just as much the monsters. We have common prey, is tha why we are fighting. His voiced loomed through the marbe hall. He took a breath though he didn't need to."I will no longer be fighting on the side of out family. If you want rid of me so be it. I will leave in a manor that I won't regret."For once Spire felt badly about his rage and refusal. He may only tolerate the Vampire that he lived with but felt his life would be a lot different if he was kicked out of the pack then if he left on his own decision.

indentimentimentSpire quietly thought of what he had just said. There was no apparent good side. He couldn't stop the pack or his own coven from feating upon the poor humans. Spire was a vampire facing moral dilemas, he didn't even think that was possible. Spire let a smile sigh out as he bagan to pace between the death masks. He thought of the pain people wwent through to do this task. It must have been a burden to sculpt somenes dead face. The part that disturbed him the most is that somone had to hold the body of the dead person. Death. Death.Death. Vampires where suppose to endure it, to love it, even to live for it but Spire was different. He couldn't stand it.

You gave me a life I never chose…

Gemma E. Marsdon:...

..I wanna leave but the world won’t let me go...
User Image

Gem was taken aback by his sudden outburst, though it was true they weren’t friends, his coldness stung slightly. “I never said we’re better than them, please do not put words in my mouth” she said politely, trying to not let emotions fill her voice. “In fact, I’m fearful of them, because I’ve seen how strong they are. They came upon our territory and started an up roar, we not knowing their intentions acted rashly I must admit. If I could go back in time, I would have tried to leave the wolves in peace so we wouldn’t be in this mess, this stupid battle. Do not think for a second that I think myself better than anyone else. It is true I do not like them, but that is not because they are of a different race” Gem said thoughtfully. Then, for good measure she added “You do not know me, so do not make those assumptions.” She sighed, she hated confrontation, and arguments were more of Lili’s specialty.

“If you hate us so much, then leave, but do not wait for me to kick you out, because I simply refuse to have my hand forced in such a manner. I have no quarrel with you Spite, so do not make one” she said, her voice was so much smaller than she would have liked; she never was able to sound strong and assertive.

Gem picked up her things from the marble floor; she nodded once at Lili and then departed for the library once more. She knew that Lili would start to speak her mind, and Gem was in no mood for arguments. She was tired, and a little sad now, she hoped Spite wouldn’t leave, because even though they didn’t see eye to eye, he was a good person, probably…she still didn’t know for sure.

She reached the library once again, it was her haven from anything she did not like, such as arguments. Here there were only books, filling the room with a musty smell, dust floating in the air. She remembered when she would have disagreements with her father; he would always flee to his art room and not come out until awhile later. Gem was like him in that aspect, she couldn’t take much interaction with others before she had to find solace amongst inanimate objects.

Dexter O. Cromwell:...

who we get stuck in those rooms with is what are lives amount to.

Dexter had heard Gem close the door to the library. His room was just down the hall from it and so he had grown accustomed to hearing Gem in there at all hours of the night. Dexter liked Gem… she was like a little sister to him. He had always wanted a sibling, and Gem always tried to make a home for their coven, she was like that, someone who ‘nested’ and tried to make peace with everyone.
Compared to Dexter and Lili, Gem was a fetus. He had discovered the pair of them when they came to Ireland, and had since been in the coven with them. As for Emmie, Dexter didn’t really understand her, but she seemed cool enough so he was happy to share a roof with her. Spite on the other hand had managed to both gained the respect of Dexter as well as his frustration. Though he found it admirable that Spite had some morals and was a ‘vegan’, he also hated how Spite seemed to look down on the rest of the coven, just because he didn’t drink human blood. He did share his pity for Spite though, Lili didn’t care for him, and so he had to deal with her blunt and cold attitude. All in all, Dexter felt like he lived in a dysfunctional family, the kind that some Hollywood producer would make a lame a** day time t.v. show about.

Sighing as he got up from the black couch in his room, he turned off his cd player and decided to go see what all the hub bub was about. It hadn’t been too long since Gem had left the library, so someone must have either annoyed her, or she was simply over stimulated by some of the coven members. Dexter had quickly come to learn that Gem could not deal with large groups of people, she was quiet and hated to share her emotions.

Walking down the hallway to the spiral staircase that leads to the great hall, he descended from the stairs, barely making a sound. He found, to no surprise that Lili and Spite were in the entry. ’Ah, no wonder Gem went back upstairs…’ he thought to himself. Making a fake cough with his voice, Dexter nodded towards the two. “Hello you two” he said, he voice had an English accent that no matter how long her had been from his birthplace, he could not lose.

Dexter noted the shopping bags that must have been Lili’s, she liked to shop. Though clothes were never a passion for Dexter, he supposed it was an acquired taste. “So, I heard Gem in the library, what’s up?” he asked, looking between the two.

█▌Ireland must have been the most perfect place in the world for a vampire like Emmie. The rolling, mist-covered fields of green were the perfect backdrop for the childish young woman who currently twirled her way along the edge of a small pond on the castle grounds. She stopped the dizzying feat facing the still pond, mimicking the greenish-grey colour of the clouds above.A gentle sigh escaped her pale lips, her silvery eyes flicking this way and that, taking everything in. Her usually smiling lips curled downward as her eyes moved skyward, searching for the sun. As a child roaming these very hills, Emmie loved the feeling of the warm sunshine against her bare skin but now she would never feel the warmth again. It was a small price to pay to still be walking among the living, but sometimes it got to her. Feeling defeated, Emmie turned her back to the dismal pond and headed back up toward the castle.

█▌Not many tourists were out and about at the moment, making the ghastly pale girl more comfortable being out in the open. She always felt awkward showing off her pale flesh around humans, most of them bronzed from sun exposure and making Emmie stick out like a sore thumb. Being around her vampire friends, however, made her feel much better. Well, most of the time anyways. If they were fighting or arguing amongst themselves she tended to shy away, but when she'd been around humans for a while or she'd spent some time alone, she liked to come back to the coven she now knew as family.

█▌As she hiked up the hill in her skirt and bare feet, she could tell something had gone awry. Wrinkling her nose, she made her way into the entrance hall and set her eyes upon Dexter, Spire, and Lilith. Lilith was brooding, as usual and probably at something Spire had just said, and Dexter was looking as handsome as ever, looking as though he'd just come into the conversation. She watched the trio for a moment before making her presence known, (although they all probably knew she'd been on her way), by rapping gently upon the huge wooden door to her right.

█▌"What did I miss?" she mused, her musical voice carrying a heavy Irish accent. She allowed a gentle smile to play across her lips, hoping to lighten the mood, and moved farther into the room to stand at Dexter's left. The petite girl lifted her eyes to him, then to the others. She stood at least a half-foot shorter than both Gemma and Lilith while Spire and Dexter towered over her childish figure.

Lilith's eyes narrowed at the comments that Spite made, and her anger flared. She didn't portray her emotions in the usual way most people did, instead she had a mask of calmness on her face, but her eyes showed everything. "You ignorant baby. I have been in this war for far too long, and in this lifestyle for even longer, and you dare make assumptions?" by this point Gem got up to leave, Lilith waved at her, knowing how confrontation wasn't a preference of hers. Lilith stood up, and she stepped right in front of him. She was only five and a half feet, so he was taller than her, but she was a force to be reckoned with. She was the second older vampire in the coven, and her skill as a vampire also made her one of the top strongest and most battle savvy.

By this time Dexter and Emmie made their ways into the room, but Lilith did not let their entrance deter her from her course of action. Lilith didn't mind Dexter, he was always pleasant, never did anything that openly annoyed her, Emmie she was apathetic towards, didn't care if she lived or died. "You join this coven, yet you look down on us all because you have some lingering human emotions that apparently you feel make you better than the rest of us. You're weak and you're pathetic, and to sit here and criticize us, you condescend to us, and you dare get in my face. You're beneath me, compared to you those mongrels are deities in my eyes. I'm not going to throw you out, it's not my house and I do not hold myself as leader of this coven, but I warn you, if you ever get this stupid again, I will make is so the werewolves don't have to kill you, I will do it myself." Lilith was livid, but she was done with him. She had already embarrassed herself by letting her anger escalate to that degree, and she collected her things and stepped past Dexter, she shot him a friendly smile, well, friendly for Lilith, and ascended the staircase into the living quarters.

She entered her room and began to unpack her newest purchases, her favorite of which was a deep purple satin handkerchief-style dress. It had black lace around the bust, and spaghetti straps. She pulled a clothing hanger and in her closet.

After Lili’s… well, for lack of a better word, rant, Dexter stood there for a moment. He wasn’t shocked at all. This was really typical for their coven and he had grown used to Lili butting heads with people, she was a force to be reckoned with. He shrugged his shoulders towards Spite and said “Well, just a typical Sunday at the house of the living dead” in a joke like voice, though deep down he was concerned that his coven was going to fall apart at the seams. He took a deep inhale and exhale, and then added “Spite, I think it’s okay that you’re vegan and you’re scruples are your own to keep, but try not to impress them on the others, especially Lili, it really pisses her off. I’ll see if I can get Lili to….” He trailed off, because really, no one could make Lili do anything she didn’t want to do. “I’ll ask her to tone down the werewolf hate if that’s what you want, but obviously I can’t make any guarantees for her.”

Dexter ran his long fingers through his hair ’God, I need a smoke….’ he thought. Before he had become a vampire Dexter had given up smoking, but in times of stress he always remembered how it relaxed him so. “I know sometimes you don’t get along with us, but I think you could, we just got to bridge the gap, you know?” he said. He liked Spite, as frustrating as he was, he seemed like a good person. He hoped, probably in vain, that the coven would find a way to get along.

He wondered is Gem was going to appear anytime soon, sometimes she dissapeared for long periods of time when there was a confrontation. Though, he always thought it was interesting, Gem adored Lili, yet Lili wasn't very much like Gem. Lili was hot headed whereas Gem was more passive, and down right friendly when you got to know her. Dexter turned his thoughts away from them and looked to his left.

Dexter looked down at Emmie, she was just so short it was like the mutant super power no one wanted. She looked like a child, and well, she acted like one most of the time. This is not to say Dexter thought her immature, just more youthful in her personality, not torn down by the world, it was charming in its own way. “Hey there half pint” he said simply. Dexter was hoping to switch the gears and change subject as quickly as possible. "Did you have a nice day? The rain is nice" he trailed off. 'Uhg, talking about the weather, pathetic'.

indentimentimentSpire gave the two vampires who just butted their way into the conversation an immence death glare. "I will be out of your lives and house in the next two months."He spoke calmly, pronouncing each word. He then walked between Dexter and Emmie and across the marble floored great room. He walked uo straight to his office and in four steps was sitting, once again at his computer. His fingers flew across the keyboard and he was soon on an Ireland Real Estate site. He tapped his fingers on the desk impatiently and scrolled through the page. Nothing suited him more than the house he was currently subsiding in. At long last he picked up his phone and called a realitor. After a short conversation he clicked then end buttin on the phone but dialed a new number.
indentimentiment"You would like a loan? For how much sir?Spire sighed "I plan on purchasing a houde. Whatever I am allowed to borrow." A hesitant in the tellers voice was calming, "Yes sir...I can get you Twenty Thousand Euro buy the end of the month."Spire sighed. That made about 280,000 Euro with what he had. He debated... was the debt worth it."Thank you. He spoke and then hung up the phone. He made some calculations then set up for the library. He knocked on the door before entering. He looked straight to Gemma."I am not hear to apologize. I feel no remorse and will still standby what I said this morning. I will be gone in two months." He spoke quietly. He spoke his mind and everyone hated it. They didn't take his thoughts to their hearts or even minds. That was it for Gemma. Lilith was not going to be happy about what he was going to say, which was kind of the point. Her threat made him want to test her.
indentimentimentSpire made his way up to Lilith's room. He wanted his words to make her mad, he made that his goal. "I never said I was better than anyone in this coven. I never would say that I was better than anyone. Except you. You are just mean, blunt, cold-hearted, and agressive. You think that you are just so good, the world revolves around Lilith. I didn't 'get in your face' I wasn't even talking to you. How dare you call me what you do. I am not afraid of you, as you think that I am.He looked at the elder vampire with a look of disgust what he said was pure, whole truth. Lilith did not intimidate him in the least.

Jez sat in the thick branches of the oak tree for some time. She just watched as the rain drizzled downwards, coating the land in a thin layer of sparkling droplets. She felt another werewolf pass earlier, but desided not to say anything. She didn't know them much and was awkward around boys. Jez's almond eyes scanned the vast area of trees and rolling, jade, hills. She loved the view from up here, it was peacful. The rain soaked her clothes and hair, but she ignored the cold.

She started wondering about the vampires. Jez knew she would never be able to live without feeling the golden rays of the sun beating down on her face, warming her hair. She loves night too of coarse, it was just more menacing than the day. More dangers roamed in the thick shadows of nightfall. She gave a small sigh. Everyone had to sacrifice something to become beings like this. They gave just gave up light.

Jez took a deep breath of the crisp, moist air. She was becoming hungry again. She dreaded this. She always ate human food, but it never filled her up like it used to. Fresh meat was always better. Not humans, Jez could never bring herself to take a human life, but animals. She sighed and kneeled up, looking to the ground far below her. It was at least a twenty five foot drop. Jez jumped, morphing in mid air. She landed on four paws, her chocolate brown fur matched her human hair. She loved her wolf form, it was something away from reality. Taking off at a lope, Jez put her nose to the air and sniffed. Not much was out today, must be the rain.

Gemma E. Marsdon:...

Gemma sighed after Spite had left to go tell Lili. She had not expected an apology from him, she did not want or need one either. It was obvious that he was unhappy here, and though she wished he would have given it more of a shot, and that Lili had been kinder, she really couldn’t do anything about it, it was none of her business. She had wanted though, to be friends with Spite, simply because Gemma felt that he could have used one. Also, though she wouldn’t admit it to anyone in the coven, she needed friends and family, it was all that really kept her going. Gemma wouldn’t ever dare to mention it to Lili, for Lili was proud and strong and hated weak vampires, but deep down, Gemma wished she had died the night her small town, with her family. She felt horrible being someone like the person who took her life I am not the person I was meant to be, that women, she took my life from me, literally, and now I have to make the best of what I was given’ .

She had never tried veganism because Mrs. Banks, the women who made, taught her otherwise, and being the young naïve vampire she had been, lost in the dark, simply followed whichever person would help her. As she matured as a vampire, she could have changed, sometimes she thought about only drinking from animals, or being a vegan like Spite, but she felt too entrenched in her old ways to change now, it was too late.

Standing up from her favorite chair in the library once again, she felt weary, she wasn’t doing well. She was tired of everything, just so tired. Maybe Spite leaving the coven was a good thing, his constant head butting with Lili was wearing, and Dexter wouldn’t have to try to keep the peace, though really, he wasn’t very good at it.

She walked over to the door and turned the bronze knob, the door creaked as she opened it. She left her haven once again. She was going to go speak to Lili, be Spite was there and she didn’t want to deal with his drama. As she passed, she heard Spite talking defiantly to Lili; she peered in, but quickly moved away from this scene. She would talk to Lili later, and decided to instead go outside. It was getting late now, the dark consuming the sky. The sun had gone to bed, and now the moon was hiding behind the dark grey clouds that covered the sky. She stood near where her car was, breathing in the night air which still carried the scent of rain. She wanted to go somewhere but there wasn’t anywhere in particular to go.

(I've updated the time and weather a bit, and will probably change it again later tonight. I'll try to let you know when I do))

Loki rubbed his nose with one of his paws, sneezing slightly as a new scent met his nose. It was still strange to him, smelling others of his kind. He sneezed again, once, twice, three times, before turning to peer out into the thickening darkness in the direction of the smell. It was one of his pack, that much he could tell, for the scent was familiar and carried the rest of the pack with it; it was another male too. How was Loki supposed to act? Should he greet him as one human would greet another with a nod of the head and a simple hello? Or did he listen to the wolf within himself and roll over to expose his belly, a sign of submission?

It didn't take him long to spot the other among the trees. He was large, bigger than Loki certainly, and showed a more human side than animal. That was something Loki had picked up about the others. They were so much more human than he. Maybe he came from a long line of werewolves? He wasn't sure. Loki whined a little, tail between his legs, before bolting off further into the woods.

Stupid. He was being stupid. Why was he so timid around the others while in his true form? Was it because of he looked so much more animistic? Was it because he retained so much more of his own personality? Was it because he didn't revel in the hunt as much as his brothers? Sure, he like to bring down a deer once in a while, but most of the time he preferred just to run. He could do it for hours. His form allowed him to do it with much more ease than the others of his kind. He payed for it though by being so much smaller and essentially, weaker then them. He'd learned that lesson his first day there.

If Lilith was alive, she would have probably sighed in annoyance at this boy's insufferable idiocy, she would have probably closed the door in his face and stewed for hours about him calling her out like that. She was seasoned though, her actions portraying her years and the ideals of the time she was born. "Do you find it wise to call out a vampire as old as I? I have been through battles that would make you soil you diaper, child, and yet there you stand, your idiocy sewn to your sleeve. You may want to rethink what you are doing, child, because if you decide to pursue this, the outcome will be the end of your life." She was more pulled together than she had been downstairs, when his comments took her off guard and her careful facade slipped.

She continued to unpack her new clothing items, a couple of soft sweaters, a cotton dress, jeans. She took extra care when taking the shoes out of the boxes and storing them in her closest, sliding the empty boxes under the bed, which she had there for decoration and relaxation, rather than its intended purpose of sleep. When that was complete she made her was over to her hat rack and removed her scarf from around her neck, hanging it up between a knitted cap and a silk shawl. She paused to look outside, the that was rain coming down heavily in the darkness now ceased, a quick glance at the clock showed it was past 8 pm.

Jez ran along the forest on all four paws. She tread silently upon the dead leaves and such. Her nose was to the air, still smelling. She could smell the strong scent of the other two werewolves, but she ignored it and searched for animals. Her lush brown coat was a shade lighter along her chest and tail, she blended in perfectly with the tree trunks. With nightfall and the grey overcast of clouds it was especially dark. She took a deep breath and a scent caught her nose. A buck it seemed. Jez's almond eyes scanned the trees for any movement, her arms and legs slowed from a powerful stride to a quick, light tread.

The elk came into view. The large antlers branched out above his head, coming to ten points. Jez stopped and stayed still, watching it. The bronze fur of the animal shone in the dim light, a white streak running down the fronf of it's thick neck, broadining out and coating it's underside. The dark eyes darted around, looking for danger. Little did it know danger was right under it's nose. Jez inched forward slightly intill she was only a few yards from the beast. It bent it's head down to graze in the brush, that's when she lunged. Jez sprang to the buck's throat. She knocked it off it's feet, and sunk her teeth into it's throat. She pulled her closed jaw away, tearing the neck out, blood spattering her face and paws. The elk became limp. Jez took a deep breath in satisfaction. She soon tore into the plet of the animal and feasted. In no time she devoured nearly the whole animal herself. She hadn't realized she was this hungry.

After she was finished she licked the remaining blood from her face and paws and started walking slowly through the dark forest.

Gemma E. Marsdon:...

..I wanna leave but the world won’t let me go...
User Image

Gemma got into her car, she still wasn’t sure where she was going to go, but she started it up anyways. She drove a regular four door but had decorated it with a Mario steering wheel cover and other video game memorabilia. With the advancement in years, she had come to enjoy many things that she would have otherwise missed out on. She had an odd fascination with video games; it was more of a love/hate relationship.

She started to drive down the long path from their mansion to the main road. She wondered if the werewolves were out, but really, they could be out anytime they wanted to be, since they could go out into the sun. She felt a pang of jealousy mixed with hunger. She wasn’t going to feed tonight, but she would have to soon, the urge was becoming increasingly hard to ignore. Gemma wondered vaguely how long she could last without feeding; the longest she had gone in the past was three days. She sighed as she turned on the blinker to go left. Gemma realized she needed some music, so she put on her favorite rock band.

At first she was driving aimlessly, but she later decided to go to the outskirts of town, there was a small bar and shopping area. Though Gemma didn’t like to shop too much, she would window shop. The area also had some tourists. Gem wasn’t going to feed tonight, but she liked to stalk her prey, pick out people who didn’t have families near, or preferably criminals, she felt less guilty chowing down on someone who was a bad person. Though sometimes she couldn’t help it and would feed off the innocent, she tried to avoid that. It normally took her a day or two to determine if she would feed off someone.

She pulled her car into one of the empty spaces in a large parking lot near the shops. She got out of her car and locked it behind her. She walked down the lot and entered the area. Some people were out and about, a family here, a family there, no one that met her criteria for dinner. She wandered past a few windows that displayed some clothes. They were the kind that Lili would be seen wearing, fashionable and well made.

Gem continued walking down the well lit area, smelling food from a nearby restaurant, but it held no appeal for her. She saw a loner man who appeared to be a tourist walking up ahead of her, and she took a few paces closer, but still keeping a respectful distance. She continued to follow him pausing every once and awhile to look at a display, wanting to look like a normal person out and about in the town. From what she could tell, the man was drunk, she wondered if he had family, she would have to observe more.

Can you take this spike?
Will it fill our hearts with thoughts of endless
Night time sky?
Can you take this spike?
Will it wash away this jet black feeling?

indentimentimentSpire chuckled. He knew she was bluffing. She wouldn't dare kill him "I am not trying to start a figjt. Please. I just want to know what gives you the right to call me what you do. I just don't feel this war will progress. I never asked for a death wish from The Evil Witch of the West. Stop bluffig and open your eyes. So what makes you so big and strong?"His watch beeped and he let out a sigh. "Not now. I have a show, but I want an answer or you might find a stake in you forsaken, cold heart."Spire chuckled at his threat once he left his room. He leape across the banister and hit the framiliar marble floor hard. He went straight to the garage where he got in his car and drove to a bar in a strip mall. He saw Gemma's car and sighed.'Great, family.
indentimentimentSpire walkef into the small bar and leaped on the stage. He had forgoten hid guitar but there was one there for him. Not as good as his own but will make do. The other two members of the project where there and reasy to start. Spire scribbled to exact copies of the set and gave one to each. He tuned the guitar and started his intro."Out from the mist steps a figure,
No one really knows his name for sure,
He stands at six foot four, head and shoulders,
Pray he never comes knoking at your door,
Say you once bought a heart or new cornius
But bever managed to square away the debt,
He won't bother to write or to phone you,
He'll just rip the still beating heart out of your che-"

Spire stopped and now half sung half spoke,
"Tonight I will play some covers, some originals, and some Repo! hits just for fun. Hey!

"And now the nightclub sets the stage for this they come in pairs she said
We'll shoot back holy water like cheap whiskey they're always there
Someone get me to the doctor, and someone call the nurse
And someone buy me roses, and someone burned the church
We're hanging out with corpses, and driving in this hearse
And someone save my soul tonight, please save my soul

I'll never let them, I can't forget them
I'll never let them hurt you, I promise

            Struck down, before our prime
Before, you got off the floor
Can you stake my heart? Can you stake my heart?

And as always, innocent like roller coasters.
Fatality is like ghosts in snow and you have no idea what you're up against
because I've seen what they look like.
