User Image "Oh no.....it already started raining?" he quickened his pace, now almost running. But he should have been watching more carefully where exactly he was going, because he tripped.........and fell right into a large puddle with a loud splash.

"Oww......" he muttered sitting up, rubbing his now skinned elbow. "I hope that doesnt get infected. And now Im soaked." he grumbed in a childish manner. Kite sighed and stood up. His house wasnt that far off now.

Xarin chuckled a bit seeing how the leopard was acting and he continued to pet it, he was fond of animals. He blinked a bit at the demon seeing him offer the coat, the young angel male took it and then looked up at the other in slight surprise before giving a small smile and wearing the coat.

"Thank you. I am Xarin, I never met a demon with manners so far, even one who keeps an animal around."

His hand was still on the leopard's head scratching slightly, he wondered if maybe he should have a companion as well. Though he could feel a different aura in the demon from the first he felt, it was like seeing two different personalities in one body which confused him greatly.

A rough grunt lashed out from the nibble body of the boy as he kicked up yet another beer can from the ground. The splintering rain battered the can as it fell back to the ground, a muffled clanging noise rippled through the air as it landed in a low, fresh puddle. Alex chuckled, approaching it again. One gloved hand reached down to clasp it and shake it violently. It seemed a stone had lodged itself inside of it. Alex grinned, turning around several times in search of the direction in the which the stormy wind blew. Once located, Alex threw the can quickly in the opposite direction and watched it disappear into the shadowy distance. "Henh"

The creature, if you will, lifted its head to the sky, allowing the rain drops to merely touch his skin. Hydrate it. Alex loved the rain, but who could blame him? He practically lived in it after all. He adored each and every droplet that caressed his face and hung gently from his chin. But that was his way. One hand rose to his hair, dampened by the rain. Ah he did look a mess, soaked already by rain and river water. His whole form dripped with liquid and, luckily for him, the murky dark given to them all by the storm clouds made it impossible to distinguish what each liquid was. Only in the occasional flashes of white lightening could the bright red be seen around his chin.

Finally bored of his own antics, Alex headed down the road after the can that he had thrown. A weak yawn pierced his lips as his hand ventured up his face to rub his weary eyes, framed by dark black. "Lets see what this place has to offer now..." He murmured to himself, a hushed yet dark chuckle escaping his lips.

"..Syakurai. My name is Syakurai." He reached out, running a hand down the leopard's back and feeling the muscles rippling under short fur. The amusement he felt was evident when he spoke again, his voice dropping slightly. "Is that so? Well, then...I'm afraid you've only met the brutes who give us such a...undesirable reputation."
For a moment, his crimson eyes darkened, taking on the color of dried blood. It soon passed and the demon shrugged slightly, raising his voice to be heard above a peal of thunder. "Few of us associate with creatures" he freely admitted. He closed his eyes at the flash of lightning behind Xarin, opening them at the next flash. One was crimson, the other the color of dried blood, and his voice took on a low purr when he spoke. "But...they can be quite loyal if acquired when young. Even such a proud creature..."

Syakurai closed his eyes again, the leopard rumbling quietly as he did so. Kira. Without Astaroth around, there was little to catch his alter-ego's attention and it willingly relinquished control to him. He blinked, eyes crimson again; the feline's eyes flicked to the side and he glanced over as well, seeing the angel there.

Xarin watched Syalurai and he saw the change in the instant really, which made him even more curious as he clung to the coat around him. He jumped slightly at hearing the storm and shivered slightly, that was one thing he couldn't take, thunder. He was actually scared of it though he tried not to show it much.

"Are you alright? You seemed different for a moment there."

Atrum hated the rain. Sure, as a farie he was an earth loving creature. He loved all of the seasons and every time of day. How weather, cold weather, it never mattered. But rain? It wasn't the indigo-haired male's favorite thing. Not in the least bit. His hair stuck to his face, and his clothes got heavy and he was tempted to revert to his farie form just so he could try and dodge the raindrops but that would be a waste of magic, and that wasn't how he was raised.

The teen pouted, shaking his head and sending water droplets flying. Now along with the rain, the wind was starting to pick up. Why does it have to be coming in my direction? Atrum sniffed, getting a small shiver as the wind blew past him. But not too long after the gust started, a can came flying his way.

With wide eyes and a quick reflex, Atrum changed the path of the wind and sent the can flying back where it came from. Hm, wonder where it went There was no way that the wind just picked up the object and carried it this way. Someone must have thrown it. With a shrug, Atrum followed the course the can and newly directed wind had gone it.

Syakurai nodded, eyes going back to Xarin. it had been some time since Kira had made itself - himself? - known and it was always a rather unnerving experience, unable to fully control his own body. "I'm fine." He tilted his head upward, the rain falling onto his face as his eyes raked across the stormy sky. "...the storm's growing" he observed, looking at Xarin again. The leopard rose to its feet, twining around Xarin's legs and rubbing its head against a leg before padding over the Syakurai again, ears pressed against its head. For all its loyalty, the feline disliked the rain and made its displeasure known, mouthing a gloved hand briefly before chuffing again. Its ears flicked in the direction of what was currently serving as Syakurai's home and the demon chuckled softly, scratching behind an ear. "Soon" he murmured to the feline, garnering a pleased rumbling noise in response.

His eyes raked over Xarin again and Syakurai quietly hummed, the noise almost inaudible as he considered his options. While he appreciated storms, he was not fond of remaining in them for too long.
"...do you have somewhere to stay?" A flicker of movement at the corner of his eye caught the demon's attention and he stepped to the side of a can blown by the wind.

Xarin shook his head a bit at the question and looked down slightly though he heard the can as well.

"No, I came her not long ago and I am trying to find a home but with no luck."

He tried to hide the blush rising over his cheeks in embarrassment, he knew he seemed hopeless though he was trying to be independent, it was just he wasn't used to Earth yet.
User Image Kite stood still for a moment, looking around a bit confused.

"Dont tell me I got lost AGAIN........" he sighed and ran a hand through his hair, looking for someone to ask directions of. He sighed again, not seeing anyone nearby.

"I dont want to do this.....but I have to find my house and make sure it doesnt get taken out by a mud slide like last year." It was a long story. He stepped to the side as a can was thrown by the wind. He really had to get home if stuff was flying about. Hiding behind a building, he quickly made sure no one was looking before he took the magic off of his wings. The little glow of an aura he had turned bright as starlight seeing as his power wasnt being used for hiding. He flew a bit clumisly upward and started to look for the center of town, also keeping an eye to make sure he wasnt seen by any humans. He hadnt run into any demons as of late, so he wasnt as much worried about them.

"Ah! I found it!" He'd spotted the center of town and quickly started flying towards it, wind and rained pelting his face as he did so.

Syakurai nodded at the response, considering possible responses before he finally held out a hand to Xarin in an invitation. He noticed the angel flying off - the glow was ridiculously bright from his perspective, even from the corner of his eye - and filed the information away as he made his offer. "...if you wish, you can stay with me for now. I live alone, anyways."

The demon hid a small smile at Xarin's blush. Though he had refrained from mingling with light creatures in the past, it really was quite adorable on the angel. "I promise to behave" he added, a teasing smirk on his lips. The leopard purred in agreement, rubbing against the demon's legs and eliciting an amused look as Syakurai stroked its head, scratching behind an ear.

Atrum soon found himself nearing a cat, a demon and an angel. None of the above were those that he saw every day, though angels were the more common beings around here. He blinked, smiling -albeit sheepishly- because he had flown a can in their direction at a very high speed. Though at the moment, they hadn't taken any notice that he had beein the one that. . . thrown it. Maybe he should just turn around now. . . but they didn't seem angry.

Atrum was about to say something before he made himself completely known, but a bright light behind the three in question kept him from doing so. It was blinding, and the obvious light emmited from the magic made it clear that whoever was over there was an angel. The farie didn't want to interrupt the conversation of the couple of people in front of him. . .for all he knew it was some sort of conflict. Demons and angels were never very friendly. . .

When the light flew over his head, Atrum bit his lip...Should I stay, or should I go? Seems like go won, because he trailed after the glimmer in the sky, rolling his eyes at his antics before breaking into a run. I'm like a dog! No one can be this distracted, right? This would have been so much easier with his wings, but again, he wasn't supposed to switch appearances unless he had to. . . so his legs would have to do. . .

The male continued to walk silently, the only noise he created was that of his mud caked boots tapping against the ground, slipping through the light layer of mud the rain had washed up. All sorts of junk could be carried by the rain. Killed by it in some cases. Pearly blue eyes stared down at the ground, the flashing light allowing Alex to see some of what lay at his feet. Several insects of different sorts lay before him, their bodies broken by the pelting rain. Shame really. Alex continued with a low humming sound which he carried. Alex wasn't one to sing so for him, humming was second best. However his toneless voice made it difficult for one noise to be distinguished from another and his humming became more of a background blur. Nothing tuneful about it.

Alex drew to a halt at another noise. Footsteps. They were light, like that of a child perhaps? No, not that light. Someone at least younger than Alex. Those eyes of him became nothing more than thin, piercing slits staring out into the distance. "Hmph" Alex grunted, carrying on. He didn't feel this person to be of any threat. Unless it wasn't a mere person.

Before Alex could even lower his head into its usual position, he heard a can clatter a few metres ahead of him. It had returned, but how? He inhaled before pausing his breathing. One long breath could keep him going happily for a good while. Now he made no sound as he halted again. Hmmmm. The figure stood silently in the growing darkness, the wind rushing past him, his eyes of daggers aimed ahead of himself, where he was almost certain someone would appear.

"Well well" Alex purred, his words blending almost with his breath as he exhaled. A rush of almost blinding light passed over him, allowing Alex sight of everywhere for a moment. Targets sighted.

Xarin looked up at Syaurai and blushed even more before nodding and taking the demon's hand gently.

"If it wouldn't trouble you."

He still blushed from the teasing though he didn't mind completely, besides he needed a place to stay and this demon wasn't a brute like others he had met before. He only wondered why he had a feeling that staying with this demon would make things interesting.
User Image Kite landed behind his house and re-hid his wings, the right glow becoming more like a faint fire-fly's light. He walked out front and looked at his decaying house as it was pelted by rain. He sighed.

"I need to fix this place up......and I need to make a mental map so I stop getting lost." He muttered staring up at the old house he'd claimed as his own. He was blissfully unaware of the fact that he'd been seen and was now being followed. He'd probably learn soon enough.

Syakurai laughed quietly at the blush, briefly contemplating the notion of using his own wings to fly the both of them to his house. He discarded the thought just as quickly, mildly amused amused by his own thoughts, and instead turned, the leopard pacing about the two of them. They weren't far from the center of the town, anyways. "No more trouble than the pampered little leopard" he teased, taking a sadistic amount of pleasure in the blush decorating Xarin's cheeks.

He led the angel to a gothic-styled house, his steps slowing slightly before continuing when he noticed the the faint glow surrounding the figure standing before the house nearest to his. Another angel. It seemed as though this town was infested with light-oriented creatures...

Syakurai calmly allowed some of his own power to slip out, wrapped tightly around him so that it would not disturb Xarin. While it certainly wasn't enough to trigger the shift into his more demonic appearance, it would alert the angel that he was there.
