Zeliek sighed, following.
"I like you.. not because that your a jerk or whatever.. I like you because you are really just looking for someone who will care about you for who you are." Kafira said, nuzzling her head into his shoulder. |

Maria sat him down on her bed. 'Your ok...just...sleep...it's fine."
Spike walked into his room and sat down on his bed. he cuddled her close. "your the one who always cared..." |

Kafira smiled, "I care and I always will care... No matter what I will" |

Maria sat next to him ."What's wrong....what...."
Spike smiled. "You are going to ruin my reputation...heh...it sure will be different....don't tell my dad. heh...he will never leave me alone." |

"I can't meet your fiance, Maria.. it's just no right.. I'll ruin everything.. I wont be comfortable.. I just.. meh..."
Kafira smiled, "I wont.. We don't have to talk to each other in school.. if that helps" |

Maria shook her head 'It....was a stupid thing to ask you... I'm sorry...I'll cancel it...but...I still want you to come to Earth with me."
"That's not what I want...it's not right." |

Zeliek hugged Maria, "I'm sorry.."
Kafira looked up at him, "What do you want then?" |

"...your...sorry? Does that mean you won't come with me...?"
"You....that's all..." |

Zeliek turned Maria's head so he was looking into her eyes, "Maria.. I'm getting sick.. and soon.. I'll be a mindless fool who will kill anyone in his path... I'd rather not go and know that you are safe.. I wouldn't forgive myself if I hurt you.."
Kafira sighed softly, "I can live with that.. whatever makes you happy" |

Maria shook her head. tears in her eyes. "Don't say that... I just got you back...don't say that...."
"No...whatever makes you happy." |

Tears were already streaming down Zeliek's cheeks. He took Maria's hand and put the ring there and gently closed it, "Just remember that no matter what, I'll always love you.. I'll always look out for you.. and always.. always protect you.."
Kafira smiled and reached up to kiss him. |

Maria didn't stop shaking her head. "You...can't...no...we can fix this...fix you...make you better..."
Spike leaned down and kissed her. |

"I have to go home.. back to mom and dad.. I'm so sorry Maria.. I'm so sorry..."
Kafira gently stroked his cheek. |

Maria curled up one her bed still shaking her head. "No....no.....no...."
Spike blushed. "I...uh...there is a spare bedroom down the hall..." |

Zeliek got up and kissed her forehead, "I love you... so much.. take care.." he said softly and left.
Kafira chuckled, "Okay.. want me to sleep there?" |
