Nami smiled, "I'm fine, Daisuke." she
said. Her hand went around her locket,
then realised it. The small heart shaped
locket looked a bit rustic with her silver
on it, but she didn't mind. After all, her
mother had given it to her.

Daisuke looked at her locked. "What's that?" he asked her, looking at it closer. "I didn't know lockets could play music..."

Nami blushed a bit, then replied, "It's
a locket my mother gave to me... the
day before she and my father both..."
she paused, and wiped a small tear
from her cheek that had fallen from
her eye. "Died..." she finished. "It
has a picture of them both in it." she
said. Her eyes looked at Daisuke.

Daisuke frowned. He wished he hadn't said that. "Oh... sorry... It makes you look pretty, though." he grinned.

A small smile curved Nami's lips. "Thanks,"
she replied. She opened her locket, a picture
of a brunette woman with bright ocean blue
eyes and a black haired man with hazel eyes.
Nami pointed at the woman, then said, "Thats
my mom," Then she pointed at the man and
said, "And thats my dad." She looked at Daisuke,
a small smile still on her face.

Daisuke smiled. "You look pretty like your mother," he said.

((Sorry it's so short. I have writers' block...))

Nami grinned a little. "Thanks," she said.

(( its ok, i do too ))
