Vahn had once again fallen in step behind Sei when the wolf came to an abrupt stop. He stopped as well. Sei turned and lowered herself to the ground, her front legs down which set her into a charge ready position. Vahn turned just he heard someone calling out to him. In the distance there was a lone figure, clad in armor and bearing a sword. Vahn simply stood there in silence a moment, running the words through his mind. Sei growled and let out an aggrivated bark. Vahn looked down and knew that she was defensive only because the new person was a threat to his safety.

"It's alright Sei, calm down." He placed on hand on the top of her head and felt her relax under his touch. He smiled at the creature then turned towards the other woman. He spent another moment examining the new person, though he really couldn't see very well from his current position. "Um. . . I'm just passing through to get to Kvethra Lake. . ." Vahn's reply was weak to say the least. It had been so long since he'd talked to another person, npc or not. In fact he wasn't sure he'd ever actually met another real player.

OOC: It took me too long to design this....How does it look?

Raiden was alone in the forest nearby Jierda, her head against a tree's trunk as she gazed off into the sunset. She was rapidly approaching her two-and-three-quarters year anniversary on Myth Online, and that seemed like an eternity. She had grown used to her blonde hair, ever-sharp daggers and skimpy outfit, it had grown to be the norm. She had leveled up her daggers; there now were little crimson strips of cloth tied to the loops at the hilt of the dagger. She sighed, Daniel was probably looking for her about now. Even still, she was being alone, which she did pretty well.

I wonder what's going to happen to us all, now that we have all forgotten to live a normal life... She thought sadly, taking out the chunk of wood she had been whittling the past week. It was beginning to look like a heart, though she still had work to do on it. With another sigh, she climbed down from the tree and began to walk back into town, climbing onto a roof and leaning against the chimney on it, going back to doing what she had been doing earlier.

She missed the healer and Isabella and Mathilca and Sectus and Adalia...All of them had gone their seperate ways during the last two years, and the only two left were her and Daniel. Can't linger on the past; they're probably loooooong gone... She thought, taking a deep breath. For some reason, she particularly missed Isabella. After the sage had gotten over some weird un-earned hatred for her, they had become like sisters. But now....She hadn't seen Isabella in almost three months. She was probably off doing Sage things, but that didn't give her reason not to write. Maybe she and Daniel should get a house before then. Either way, it was unacceptable.

"Damn it all to hell." She whispered, her face twisted into a grimace. All this missing people made her sad, but it also made her realize that she was getting too attached to them; or was it better to be that close?

Anything else? Nope.

Ferus Blackart

Nino Bestus

"Owwww" Nino complained as she sat in front of the door and rubbed her head lightly, "that really hurt." She looked up at the man with the bow just in time to see him let his guard down a little. "I tripped" she stated simply as she smiled lightly, "I was just really hoping to see another player." "Me and my brother have been traveling alone for pretty much a year!" she stated ecstatically, "and now we've finally found another player." She sighed as she stood up and brushed herself off in time to see her brother walking leisurely towards the two of them.

"Well that was quite the spill" Ferus said quietly to his sister, "did you trip over your own feet?" He smiled for a moment before looking up at the man with the bow and nodding slightly. This was about as much of a greeting one could expect from him. He then turned back to his sister and gave her a questioning look.

"I didn't mean to!" Nino said to her brother as she got a look she got oh so many times, "It was a root, in the middle of the path!" "Oh my name is Nino by the way" she said as she turned to the archer, "and this is my brother Ferus." She smiled and curtsied a little before looking at her brother again as he sighed and shook his head.

Iliana stared at the wolf for a second before sheathing her sword and walking forward slowly. She wasn't sure if she could trust his answer and the best way to tell if someone was lying or not was to give them a good stare down. She stopped five feet in front of him and the wolf. She removed her helm and put it in her bag. She shook her hair out; it was messed up from being in the helmet. She put her hair up in a pony tail; it had grown back from being Leila a long time ago, thanks to the game's reset-while-you-sleep thing. "Please don't attack me; I'd rather not have the city of Thrystra have a prize on your head." she said and grinned a little. She took a step forward, and kept a firm eye on the wolf. "I'm not going to attack him, and you'd do well not to attack me." she said to it and looked back to the man. "She's smart; I can see it in her eyes... Just like how yours tell me you're not lying." She said and smiled, stretching her hand out for him to shake. "And you're also a player, but I didn't have to read your eyes or aura to know that. What surprises me is that I haven't seen you before. I thought I knew everyone. Guess I was wrong." she said and took a step back to look at him. "Gotta say, though, I have absolutely no clue what your class is." she said, scrutinizing his appearance.

Vahn was a bit nervous when the woman approached him, but he quickly relaxed as she removed her helmet. He watched in fascination as she fixed her hair, probably a result of being isolated for so long. When she spoke about Sei attacking her he grinned. "Sei has been with me the past two years so she's very protective. We have a strong bond, so to speak anyways." He paused, feeling that if he continued talking like that he would begin to ramble on. "Ah, you really don't have to worry about her attacking you. She won't do anything unless I'm done physical harm or unless I tell her to.

As Iliana stretched out her hand to him, Vahn accepted the gesture and returned it. He smiled a toothy grin. He was quite happy to finally meet another player. Sei cocked her head at the two interacting and sat down on her haunches. When Iliana spoke again he nodded. "Ah, yeah. I've been here for two years but I kept to some of the more isolated places." He looked down a moment. The statement made him seem like a loner when in truth he enjoyed the company of others. As he heard a question about his class he smiled again. "I'm a Beastmaster. . . I'm not really sure about yours either." he gave a nervous laugh and then added, "I'm Vahn by the way, and this is Sei."

Iliana smiled at him. "My name is Iliana. Nice to meet you, Vahn; Sei." she said, nodding to each one in turn. "Beastmaster, huh?" she said, pondering what on earth his powers could be. "I would tell you but it's much more fun to show you." She said and smiled impishly. "Dove of Redemption!" she said and watched as a shimmering white-grey semi see through dove appeared in the air next to her. She held her arm out and in perched happily. Though it was easily half her size, it was as light as an average dove. "Meet Isis." she said happily, looking at the dove. "Spirit heal." she said, grinning. The dove stretched its wings and flew straight at Vahn. She watched as the dove flew straight through Vahn, pulling out any black or bad that had been clogging his soul. The dove flew back carry the now crystallized black soul shard. She held out her free hand and Isis dropped the shard in her hand. She held it out to him. "The ability i just did will raise all of your stats temporarily. It lasts everywhere from half an hour to an entire day. This shard, however, will lower the stats of anyone who ingests it. Thankfully, its only ever the size of a grain of rice." she said and waited for him to take it.

Yeah, he had pretty much figured out she had fallen. But that was quite a spill. Mathilca glanced around them at the path, not seeing any root... There was, however, a small rock. He was going to have to move that. Mathilca shrugged, putting his weapon back to where it was. "My name is Mathilca," he said before gesturing into the house. "Lilly's inside. So I guess you've found two players." Mathilca stepped back from the door. "Come on in. We just woke up, and I think Lilly's making breakfast..." He sighed, scratching the area around his horn stubs. They were almost non-existent, but still itched like crazy at times.

Vahn nodded as Iliana introduced herself. Though Sei merely gave a tiny tilt of her head at the greeting. "It's nice to meet you too." He smiled though it fell as she began to cast her spell. Vahn was awestruck at the sight, especially since it was a dove and he had an extreme love of animals. "She's a beautiful bird." He stated after Iliana had given the dove's name. 'They are such weak creatures though.' Vahn looked down at Sei who had raised her head up and was staring intently at the dove. He sighed, knowing that Sei wasn't happy with him praising the other creature.

As Iliana used her second spell and the bird came at him, Vahn instinctively went into a defensive sort of pose with his arms out as a block. When the bird actually passed through him he could only stare as it returned to Iliana. "That's one interesting trick." he replied once Iliana had given him the details. Vahn accepted the black crystal and placed it into his rucksack. "As thanks for this, I'll show you a Beastmaster skill."

Vahn took a step back, "Howl!" Once the word was spoken the skill was activated. Vahn threw back his head and gave a loud, piercing howl. Sei jumped up, her ears twitching as Vahn's howl came to a close. "Ah, it's kind of weird when you look at it I guess, but it has some good results." Just as he finished his sentence a loud bark sounded off as a stray dog ran towards Vahn. The animal stopped and sat on its haunches, wagging its tail wildly as Vahn gently patted its head. "It's sort of like an unofficial summon or something. It let's me request the assistance and presence of creatures and animals. It's pretty fun actually, since you never know what's gonna show up."

Lilly had just returned through the back door with six eggs in a basket when she noticed Mathilca at the front door with someone or another. She placed the eggs on the counter and came up behind him, snaking her arm around his. Lilly studied the two up and down. Players. She hadn’t seen a new player in a while. Were they new, though? In the last few years Lilly had managed to explore most of Tryferia, all through Aunowind and Talodor. But she had never seen these two. Or were they new? This world was such a huge place, it was quite possible they simply had not met. Wait, why were they knocking on their door? No matter.

”I was just about to make eggs and toast, please do come in.” she asked, a little intimidated. Particularly by the male one.

Feeling the ever so familiar and comforting touch around his arm, Mathilca smiled. He looked over at Lilly, noticing that she did look a bit intimidated. It was nothing new, especially considering how neither one of them had ever met the two siblings. "Hey, Lilly," Mathilca said, kissing her lightly on the top of her head. At least she didn't look scared. "This is Nino and Ferus. They...well, Nino kind of ran into our door."

He looked back over at the siblings, gesturing for them to come inside with his free hand. "Don't worry. Lilly's cooking won't poison you," Mathilca joked. "I've been eating it for two years, and I'm still here."

Dear Prudence...
_____Won’t you come out to play?
___________Dear Prudence...
________________Greet the brand new day.

Prudence was rudely awoken by the sound of yelling below her. She groaned and pulled the pillow over her head, squeezing her eyes shut and willing herself back to sleep. But she couldn’t. Poor Prudence was thirsty. She rolled out of bed inelegantly and pulled on her “clothing”. It looked like some deranged Halloween costume to her, but if she had to be honest she loved it. The skirt, so billowy! She heard it again, yelling below her. Not angry, mind you, more like excited and happy. Some sort of party going on below. At this unearthly hour in the morning?

Prudence made her way to the window, clipping her seemingly empty and small pouch to her belt. Really, though, it was magical and carried many many things. It had to be about the size of her palm, but even she didn’t know how much stuff was in there. Cost her ten thousand pence and a pearl necklace, but it was so worth it, better than that stupid rucksack. Really, talk about clashing with her outfit.

Prudence opened the window wide, stepping up onto the ledge. And, with a deep breath of fresh air, she jumped. Halfway to the ground she gave a large beat of her wings, and another and another, propelling her to the sky, into the clouds, zipping and darting through the air. It was a delightful feeling, flying. And not to mention super easy to get around the world. Often she wouldn’t even spend two nights in a row in the same continent.

When the sun finally rose, Prudence began to slowly descend below the clouds to figure out where in the world she was. Guessing from the memory of her map, she was somewhere above the ruins of Fiolsvith. She had heard about what had happened there, and grimaced at the sight. Prudence pushed ahead until she was over the peaceful town of Voluspa.

Pressing her wings close to her body, she dove towards the earth with a little corkscrew spin, pulling up at just the right time. Prudence had gotten good at flying in the last year and a half. She landed gracefully on her feet outside of the gates, going into the snowy little town. This time of year most of this area was covered with snow. For some reason she never got cold, probably her being a magical creature and all that jazz. Well, she never complained, anyways.

Not really sure what to do here, this being such a quiet little town, Prudence simply went into the closest tavern, ordering water and sitting down with the drink she’s been wanting all morning.
