Daniel walked forward from the inn that he had been sleeping in, stretching slightly. The updates had made things clearer over the last two years, and several powerful upgrades and getting his hands on a hair-color-changing item and he looked like a totally different person.
Several run-ins with a clan of Orcs called the Headsplitter Tribe had convinced Daniel to start wearing the helmets that his upgrades gave him, though never anything that obstructed his view. His shield had a better grip, and his sword looked much nicer and more articulate than just a regular old broadsword.
Daniel scanned the town he was in for Raiden, and he hoped she would be along soon.....
