"Don't worry about it" Nino said smiling at the girl that had now responded to her greeting, "it's just good to be around actual people." "That is a long time ..." Nino said looking at Lilly and nodding her head slightly "I don't think I'd really mind though ... it's kinda nice here." She stood up from the table and curtsied to the two of them before smiling and heading for the door. "I'm just gunna go and sit with my brother alright?" she asked as she opened the door to the cottage, "make sure you don't leave without us."

"Yeah, you really shouldn't threaten her...." Daniel warned. He didn't care who the guy worked for, he would cut him down without even thinking about it if he was threatening his love. He began to wonder where Isabella had gone, but that didn't matter at the moment. If this guy worked for the King, he probably had underlings ready to surface and try to attack them. The fact that he worked for the King and was obviously a PC also meant that he had soem standing within the company in the real world....

Piper had told the barmaid that he would come to her when he needed something. He wasn't hungry or thirsty at the moment, but knew he would be soon.

Piper had set his staff against his table before he sat down. Looking at it now, Piper sighed and laid his head on the table.

Piper felt lonely. In truth, he was. He hadn't really talked to anyone in forever, he wasn't sure how long it had been. An NPC was the last 'person' he'd talked to.

He heard what the girls that were close to him talking, but not really what they were talking about.

That is what I strive to find out.

Ferus was lying on the ground and relaxing from the group of people his sister had befriended. He sighed and stretched lightly for a moment as he continued to stare up at the clouds. However soon he heard the faint clack of hooves. It took him a moment to notice that it was getting nearer to him. He only clued in when his running sister got nearer and yelled loudly. It was then he looked back to see the horse closing in on him, just a few steps away now.

As Nino saw the horse that looked about ready to eat her brother's head she yelled at him for a moment before getting an idea. She let her eyes narrow for a moment and began to chant quietly. Within moments a wall of fire came out of the end of her staff and right between the horse and her brother. She cheered as she was successful and smiled until she saw her brother looking a little annoyed, his hair smoking a little. She grinned nervously and ran a hand through her hair before turning her attention to the horse that no doubt would have noticed her by now, seeing as she had just interrupted it from it's nice purple snack.

Maverick wasn't happy in the least, his nostrils flaring as he glared at Nino. For a horse with AI, he had a lot of emotion and personality. And right now he was pretty ticked off...

A shrill whistle resounded through the meadows, catching Maverick's attention. Mathilca had spotted them, though a bit too far to actually stop or distract Maverick. But now, with that whistle, Maverick had forgotten about Ferus. No one said the horse was bright...

Maverick trotted over to Mathilca, who reached out to pet the horse's nose. "Honestly, I'm going to have to do something about you," Mathilca scolded, ignoring the pain as Maverick bit his hand harder than usual. "You're mad, aren't you?" The horse responded by trailing behind Mathilca, nibbling at his hair. Mathilca went up to Nino and Ferus. "I'm seriously sorry about that," he told them, ignoring Maverick. "I guess I forgot to lock the gate last night, so he got out. And, unfortunately, I think he's part wolf or something." Maverick whinnied, biting Mathilca in the shoulder before going back to his hair. "Now that's a new spot..."

Annath grabbed the mug from the counter when the bartender brought it. The smell told him it was spiced while the steam told him it was hot. He took a sip of the mulled cider, thought for a second, then decided he liked it well enough to finish it. While he sat there several more people came in. Two of them were identifiable as players just because of their clothing and the way they acted. One went and sat at the table where the girl player was sitting at while the player wearing full robes sat at a table near the pair. He chuckled quietly to himself as he watched the lone player slumped against the table.

Nino's face was red and for a moment it looked like she was going to cry as tears ran down the side of her face, however to any who where close enough they would have heard her muffled laughter as she tried to stop herself from laughing out loud at the sight of her brother frowning and urgently patting his head, which was still smoking. Eventually she couldn't hold it in anymore and she let out a loud burst of laughter which caused her brother to look over at her and take his hand away from the slowly dwindling smoke that was coming from his head. She continued to laugh as she wiped her eyes lightly.

Ferus frowned as he watched his sister laughing loudly and trying to wipe the tears that had accumulated at her eyes due to the laughing. After a while he sighed though a small smirk could be seen on the corners of his lips. He sighed and walked over towards his sister. "Thanks" he said simply to the archer that had called off the crazed horse. He then stretched lightly and continued to watch his laughing sister.

Prudence let a little smirk cross her face at Baylee’s blush. It was cute, in that sweet, timid girl sort of way. Made her think of her “wife” back home. Her circle of friends sure was weird. Was, past tense.

”The boys getting a little fresh with you love? Let me at ‘em!” she exclaimed with a little laugh and the smirk still plastered to her lips. Maybe it was the full moon, but she was feeling particularly bold on this fine morning. Wait, full sun? Never mind. Normally she would have been more the type to open her mouth as a barmaid went past and then sigh forlornly as she passed by without giving her a second glance. It was probably being in the presence of Baylee, shy people always boosted Prudence’s confidence.

The barmaid returned with the teas and Prudence thanked her before sipping gingerly at hers, careful not to burn her tongue. She normally took lots of sugar with her tea, but over the last year and half she had learned to go without, too much hassle.

”Not too much,” she started, a little late to Baylee’s question, ”Mostly just seeing where my wings take me. I haven’t spent two nights in a row in the same continent all week. I was actually just in Laydora until about three o’clock this morning when some sort of wild part woke me up. So I wandered over here on a whim.”

Prudence sipped her tea again.

”What about you, hun?” she asked, a little flirty look cast over the top of her mug.

Mathilca blinked in surprise when Nino looked quite red in the face before she started laughing. Laughing really hard. Mathilca found it a bit contagious, smiling as she continued to laugh. He looked over as he heard Ferus's thanks, giving him a small nod. It wasn't a problem, and right now he had another problem. Maverick was chewing on his shoulder. "Alright, I get it. I'm sorry we haven't gone riding in the past week," Mathilca said with a sigh. This satisfied the horse, who turned around and walked off with his head held high. Mathilca knew that the horse was headed back to the pasture, so he turned back to the siblings. He was bleeding a bit from the bites on his shoulder and hand, but it was nothing new.

"Again, sorry about Maverick trying to eat your head," Mathilca said to Ferus. "Actually, that's how he greeted me the first time we met. He's a man-eater, but that crazy horse got me out of plenty of tight situations over the years. If it wasn't for him last year, I would probably lost a lot more than this." Mathilca tapped the eye-patch, his meaning obvious.

Piper had the distinct feeling he was being laughed at. He couldn't hear it so he thought it was his imagination.

Piper lifted he head and looked around. He saw a man sitting a the counter who was obviously a PC by the clothes he wore. Piper looked at his staff to make sure it was still there. Safe and sound.

Piper looked back at the man at the counter. He was smiling and seemed to be enjoying his drink very much indeed. Piper was still not hungry, his appetite wasn't very large. It was what you'd call small. He also had horrible metabolism. He really only at twice a day.

That is what I strive to find out.

Nino finally managed to calm down her laughter after breathing deeply a few times. She sighed and looked up at her brother who was giving her a rather serious look that said to her, 'really? You found that funny?' This look however caused Nino to laugh again, this time a little quieter but she still continued to tear up because of her laughter. She continued to laugh as she began to look around. She stopped laughing when she saw Mathilca's shoulder and looked a little worried. "You okay?' she asked him though she was still smiling widely, "you're kind of bleeding."

Ferus sighed and continued walking towards the cottage when he stopped. "Horses" he said simply as he looked from Mathilca to his sister. He doubted the man would get what he meant but he knew his sister would decipher his meaning. He looked at her then tilted his head slightly.

"Oh yeah" Nino said nodding at her brother and looking at Mathilca, "we don't have anything to ride." "We should probably look for something to ride sometime on our quest too" she said to Mathilca, "me and my brother don't have a horse." She looked thoughtful for a moment as she considered their choices. "I guess we could share horses for now ... or some of us could walk ... though that will take longer."
