"That's nice to hear," Mathilca told Illiana, trying not to laugh as Lilly flew into a frenzy. "Though I still prefer plain ol' missions." Still a high chance of getting killed, but that was beside the point. "And that brings about to why I was talking about you behind your back. We're thinking about going on missions again," Mathilca explained with a smile. "But it's kind of hard when it's just a handful of mages and an archer, you know?" He was sure Illiana would get the idea.

Annath flicked the hair out of his eyes as he trudged through the white snow along his path towards Voluspa. "I guess it hasn't changed since my last visit." He muttered to himself as he walked towards a decent tavern he had found on a previous trip. A sudden gust of wind blew his long hair wildly around him, but merely flapped his dark blue leather armor. He saw the tavern and hurried to it, eager to get out of the cold weather and get something warm to drink.

When he got inside, he shook his armor and hair to get rid of any loose snow before striding towards the bar. "I'd like something hot and strong please." Annath asked as he settled on a seat. He looked around at the men and women gathered around various tables talking to each other and enjoying the warmth of the tavern. He noticed a young woman sitting alone who was wearing an... Interesting set of clothing.

Lilly nodded enthusiastically, to Iliana.

B[}’Yes, yes, take as much as you want, I’m making more,” she said before leaning in to listen to Iliana.

”It really is, but I sort of miss your hairpiece..”

She blushed a bit, she had to admit that hairpiece was lovely on her. Mathilca then began to tell her of the previous conversation, which Lilly had admittedly forgotten about. A visit from Iliana had the power to do that to the poor girl.

”I’ll be back, I need to make more eggs and toast,” Lilly said, standing up and walking briskly to the kitchen. She cracked the eggs into the pan and put some more bread over the fire to toast as she listened to the conversation in the background.

OOC: @ Wolf - Can we pleeeeeease ressurect The Black Hand?

Raiden snickered. "You could say that, and I highly suggest you don't threaten me. I can open a pretty good can of Whoopass, not to mention my...companion here." She laughed. She was suprised he hadn't reconized her, if he knew about the black hand. Didn't anyone tell him that she, Raiden, was a theif? "Anyway, I'm not going to tell you if you're going to try to kill them, not that you're going to succeed, but you know." She said, crossing her arms and looking at the king's b***h. He pretty much owned this kid, sending him off on missions, but only him on special missions. In other words; He was the king's b***h. And she knew that she was fairly capable of protecting herself, she had proved this after saving both herself and Isabella from death during the war, at least once. She also knew that Adalia was capable of protecting himself, too, though she wanted to leave the king's b***h alive. Better to think he hadn't found her then to be slaughtered.

Baylee Minke

I hate sleeping alone in the wilderness.

Baylee lay asleep inside a tent near Völuspá. She had been walking towards the city the night before and sleep caught up to her before she could make it so she quickly, and badly, set up her tent. She had quickly fell asleep, even without much protection from the elements and no protection from other people coming to do what they pleased. It wasn't odd for her to travel around alone as she hadn't really gotten too friendly with any of the other players, well besides one of the developers who she helped out on occasion. She wasn't in the war but she had heard of what happened and she had spent a lot of time working with NPCs in some places affected. That was her reason for going to the small town, someone needed something from there and they decided to ask her to do it. She wasn't sure why and why she was sent alone, it wasn't like she was great at protecting herself. She had learnt not to question things too much as it was less work and none of the NPCs were out to get her or anyone else really. Well at least most of them, some of them were out to get them but that was how they were meant to be. She didn't break the people into NPCs and players most of the time since the differences for in game relationships was insignificant. She understood a little more of the game's underlying technology though and had been theorizing at multiple times about what it could be.

Baylee slept soundly as someone entered her tent quietly, trying their hardest not to wake her. The person was there for more than one reason, but one would become apparent soon enough. The man came and knelt near her and slowly began to run his hand along her leg as slept. Her body reacted before her mind would and she let out a very soft moan. The nipping cold woke her up before much else could even be done and as soon as she felt someone's hand on her she jumped out of the bed like a bullet. “Skaði's Frost” she almost shouted as the assaulter was frozen nearly instantly. She didn't mind being touched and she was fairly sensitive as her body had shown but she didn't like it what it wasn't someone she knew. She was still submissive as her personality had always been, even in life when she was a he. She had never liked being touched by someone she didn't know and the game just made it a little more annoying since her body was completely different and more people wanted to have their way with it. If it wasn't for the cold she had no idea how far the man would have gotten.

Baylee packed up much of her gear besides the tent, she would have trouble moving the man normally and now that he was frozen it wasn't happening. She would just charge the people who made her come up for the tent as they hadn't said how much she would be given for the task and she didn't ask too many questions. She had learned not to ask as many questions about the small quests from powerful people, there wasn't often a answer anyway, only glares.

Baylee rushed into Völuspá her cheeks still a little red from her strange encounter and the thoughts that were now running through her head. She was thinking of all the different ways it could have gone and some of them didn't seem to bad to her but she was glad it went the way it did. She was safe, she couldn't know what else the person planned to do after he had his way with her, she did think of quite a few though. She was prone to thinking about all the possibilities and it could cause her some problems but she didn't think too much into it. She should have told a guard about the person she froze but that would mean that there was a guard around. The town was known for it's being unguarded but being very safe. It wasn't what she was there for now and she didn't really want to search high a low for some weird reason as to why a small town would be so safe yet and she already had numerous reasons thought of.

Baylee walked into the nearest tavern, the person she was suppose to meet wasn't suppose to be around for a little later and she was hungry. She had a scary appetite most of the time and now was no different, she really liked to eat all different things and she was getting use to this world's limit on some of the foods. They did base the food on a time period for the most part and in some areas some food were incredibly expensive.

Baylee noticed a familiar face in the tavern and walked over to Prudence quickly. They had met shortly after they came into the game and she knew the girl in real life, but Prudence likely didn't recognize her. She didn't stay with the girl since she want along a different path for awhile and they were split up, but she trusted Prudence a lot more than the other players so far. “Do you mind if I sit with you?” she asked softly when she got to the table.

Maybe I won't have to for a bit.

Prudence looked up, blinking at the girl. Her brain told her to say something witty but, she just ended up patting the seat beside her and muttering, ”Yeah, sure.”

She waved her hand and shouted to the barmaid to bring her two teas before turning to study Baylee. She hadn’t seen her in while, a long while. Something had always seemed strangely familiar about the girl, but she had never been good with placing people. She couldn’t help but notice the flush of the girls cheeks and leaned forward, resting her elbows on the table.

”Baby it’s cold outside?”

At least, that’s why Prudence presumed she was flushed.

Ferus Blackart
&
Nino Bestus

((Poor Nino must feel so ignored XD))

Nino shrugged as her greeting seemed to fall on deaf ears. She sat at the table for a moment and twiddled her thumbs lightly. "So ..." she said trying to start up some sort of a conversation, "how long have you guys been here?" She looked at the people in front of her and waited for an answer hoping she could get in on some of the conversations instead of just feeling left out.

As the conversations were going on around him Ferus began to get a head ache. He got up from his seat and whispered something in Nino's ear before leaving the cottage and beginning to walk a little ways off. He continued to walk until the voices inside the cottage could no longer be heard and then he sat down in the grass and looked at the sky.

"He's just going off to relax a little" Nino said smiling as her brother left the building, "he just needs to get used to being around so many people." She began to swing her feet under the table and humming an energetic tune quietly.

Iliana nodded to Mathilca and took a piece of toast off the plate and took a dainty bite before realizing that she no longer had to keep her manners and proceeded to eating half of the piece of toast in one bite. She finished chewing and swallowed. "Let me guess. You need me to be the live bait while you guys-" she gestured to the siblings and Mathilca "-take 'em out from afar?" she pondered it for a moment and shoved the other piece in her mouth. "Yeah i guess. Just let me send the council a message." She said and without another word got up from the table and walked outside. She glanced at Nino. "Sorry, the toast distracted me. Nice to meet you both. And I've been here for... way too long." she said and chuckled.

"Dove of Redemption."
she said quietly. Isis appeared and Iliana smiled to the bird. "You need me, m'lady?" Isis asked quietly. Iliana nodded "Please tell the council I'm going on a quest with Lilly the healer. I'm not sure how long I'll be gone. You can release once you give them the message." she said, petting the dove gently. "Yes, m'lady." Isis said and took off at a blinding speed. She smiled and walked back indoors. She felt bad for not telling Vahn that she could speak, but it was better that way. She walked back inside and sat down at the table, leaving a spot between her and Mathilca for Lilly. She grabbed another piece of toast and ate it in her usual manner; take the biggest bite you can and try to not look like a total slob doing it.

Lilly returned bearing toast and eggs, sitting down in her spot. She set it down and took another bite of her egg and toast before addressing the conversation.

”It will be just like old times. Hey, anyone know where Raiden and Daniel are?”

That was the burning question right now. If they could only get the five of them together, it would be the first time all five of them had been in the same place since, well, two years ago. Speaking of, Nino had a question.

”A little over two years,” she responded with a warm smile.

((Nevermind.))
Piper had been to Völuspá many times in the last year or so. Being close to it and being tired of being in the wilderness he had decided to return.

A gust of wind blew the blonde bangs that were sticking out of his hood out of his face as he started to enter Völuspá.

He quickly found the nearest tavern. He entered that tavern. Naturally he didn't know a single person there. Mainly NPCs. He looked around for a table, finding one and taking a seat there. He wasn't very far from a scantly clad girl sitting at a table with another girl.

That is what I strive to find out.

Mathilca nodded, glad that Illiana was coming. "Pretty much the beginning," Mathilca added to Lilly's answer. He blinked, suddenly remembering something when Fares had gone outside... "Crap, I forgot to lock the gate!" Mathilca said, practically leaping out of his chair. He rushed out the door, heading to the small pasture that they had behind the house. Just as he thought, the gate was open. Mathilca looked at the animals out there. Two cows, a deer that had wandered in there overnight, and one horse. "Oh, man," Mathilca groaned.

Just as he had feared, Maverick had gotten out. That crazy, carnivorous horse, that had been his since the first mission, was out. And there were new people around the cottage... Mathilca took off, whistling for the horse. Maverick had a very bad habit of trying to eat people's hair in greeting, and just at random moments. He had a really bad habit of biting Mathilca's hand, but that was just him. Maverick was probably sneaking up on Fares right at this very moment...

Mathilca took off running, trying to find Fares and Maverick before the two met. That probably wasn't going to be good.

Baylee Minke

I hate sleeping alone in the wilderness.

Baylee took a seat quickly and listened contently as Prudence ordered two teas. She always admired that about Prudence. She didn't have an aggressive personality and she would have waited, no matter how long it took, for the barmaid to come serve her. It wasn't being lazy, it was because she didn't really want to be a bother. Prudence far far more outgoing than herself who often stayed holed up inside when not at school. She was very shy around most people as well but was a little more talkative around Prudence.

“N-not really.” Baylee answered quietly, her faced almost glowing red as numerous thoughts went through her mind.

Baylee started blushing a lot more once she got into the game. Her thoughts always brought about the sense that she should blush at times but it didn't show too much or she just didn't before. It could be annoying at times but she had learnt to deal with it. It still could cause her some trouble and it gave away her thoughts way too often. Her thoughts were random and even if she didn't know it she could think of something that would make her blush, then she would have to try and explain something that she didn't know.

“What have you been up to?” she asked quickly trying to change the topic before anything started.

She hoped that Prudence wouldn't ask her the real reason, she wouldn't lie about it but she didn't really want to talk about it. She could lie but she was bad at it most of the time and she wouldn't be able to lie about this. She could tell half truths which is what she might do in the middle of a tavern but she wasn't going to lie.

Maybe I won't have to for a bit.
