The government has been doing some experiments in virtual reality, and they discovered that they could actually implant chips into peoples mind to put them in a virtual reality. But, they are unsure of any possible side effects, such as not being able to get back to reality. Sadly, the person must be half-dead to be able to enter the world.

They comb through hospitals, finding people on the brink of death to insert these chips, keeping them alive. They find a bunch of young, healthy people, equal boys and girls, and use them as test subjects. They wake up in the game, which is called “Myth Online” with their memories and a letter addressed to them. They look at their surroundings, and find that things are not as they should be. They read the letter, explaining to them the test and that they are being kept alive by this They are asked to live in this world called Tryferia, where they will be monitored. They can do as they please. It then goes further as to the details of this world. They can feel, hear, see and smell just like in the real world. They look down at themselves to see odd attire, something out of one of their video games. Some are happy, some are not.

The letter changes before their eyes. It is now a menu, displaying their skills and other such things. They slip it in their pocket, and go about exploring this new vivid reality.

Now it is two years after the start of the test and Myth Online is still running. Many of the players are there from the beginning, although some came in later. The last player was entered a year after the start.

>Character Classes<

When I accept your profile, post it >here<

If you don’t like any of the characters here, you can make one of your own, but I must approve it first.

If you don’t like the pictures given, fine, they are mostly examples. But if you do give a picture, I may turn it down. It should be fantasy oriented and in the style of the pictures below.

Please note that all pictures with a deviant ART url must have a link to the source under "other".

If you like a class but don't like the personality outline, it's flexible. I would prefer if you kept it to the outline, but you can take a character class and change the personality if you want.

CLASS PROGRESSION

The class changes are progressive so they only need to be someone linked to the class they were before. Some examples would be a mage would go into archmage and similar upgrades. Archer into Sniper. Thief into master thief or something like that. They could eventually branch off towards things not in their discipline but it would take time and work, like a warrior could change into a spellsword. Each class change has a quest associated with it that should be approved or discussed with thedarkplayer4 mostly, but it will usually got through both of us. One of us would have to take an active role in the quest, making the monsters and the important people, giving a description of areas and the like. This is again to avoid unfairness. To give examples of similar systems think Lineage 2 where there is a quest for each class change. Ragnarok Online, when played legally, also has a like system. Final Fantasy 11 has a similar system from what I've heard. There are likely more but I do not know all of them off hand.

Appearance
Must be picture provided unless you REALLY want another picture, but I must approve it. I spent a good two hours combing through pictures to find just the right ones in the right style, so I’ll be very particular. No links, they are a living hell to those with slow computers. And besides, who wants to go through all the profiles and click every link?

Name
Put real name and in-game name. For real name, put first middle and last. In-game name may be same as real.

Gender

Age
Real age and in-game age. Put both unless they are the same. Please try to think out their age. Remember that they went into the game two years ago, so their age minus two should match up with their death. Also, keep in mind that most of the characters are around 20 in the real world, and most often older in game. Still, in the end it's your decision.

Class
“The Archer”, “The Mage”, etc.

Weapons
Picture of the weapon specified. If you want it changed, just ask.

Skills
Put a spell name and then a description of what it does. as many as you want, but keep it proportional to your class.

Personality
A more detailed one of the personality I provided. May be tweaked slightly if desired, but the same basic traits would be appreciated.

Biography
How they were “killed” and what has happened in the last one or two in game years.

Other
Anything else you’d like to mention.

Please put it in a color that matches your picture.

>Rules<

>The usual, no chat speak, no godmoding, no power playing, no cybering, etc, etc… Why am I even doing this? Actually, godmoding is something I’m a little less strict on. If someone is offline and you can’t advance, then you can have them, say, walk behind you, if they were already walking with you. But most defiantly do not have them say anything or do anything major.

>Keep it at least semi-literate people. If it’s clear you’re literate and you make a small post, okay, whatever, we all have those moments. But if it’s clear to me you are not very good, I will Pm you with a few suggestions. I won’t kick you out unless you REALLY suck. So warning, don’t suck. XD

>Please try not to be super strong. You’ve all probably played video games before, you get hit a lot, you miss sometimes. So ya.

>Profiles are to be sent to me or thedarkplayer4. If I or dark are offline, send it to me and go ahead and post it up and start roleplaying without explicit consent. I usually have only minor qualms with profiles, and they can easily be edited later. But be warned, there is a small chance I may have forgotten to reserve a spot, so when I get back you may have to change the class to something similar. Small chance, though, very small.

>If you were in the original Myth Online, you don't need to be accepted, you can just start posting.

>Entitle your PM with your class. This is more for me, so if you forget to no biggy. ^.^ You can reserve a spot if you fear your desired class will be taken while you are making your profile.

>Erm… Have fun? Pardon the cliché! No don’t hurt me! Gah! But seriously, have fun here! ^.^

>thedarkplayer4 is my awsome co-owner. He does even more than I do! Please, if you want to do something technical, please PM him. He handles all the technical stuff, so don't make assumptions on how the game works. Also, he's given much thought to the history of Tryferia, so please run things regarding history and plot by him too.

>If a person has been sufficiently inactive, I can delete them without explicit consent. Too many people come and go, clogging up the classes.

>To those rejoining from the old Myth, remember to add new skills and change your character's age.

>Setting<

Date

Sunday, November 2nd, 2014 - Day 1

-----------------------------

Time

Evening

-----------------------------

>Information<

Health

> We cannot get sick, as in common colds.
>Poisoning rarely kills, but it has effects that are similar to the flu and cause a loss of strength.
>Enemies cause wounds, not loss of HP. HP doesn’t exist within Tryferia.
>No MP, but characters feel weaker after use of skills and simply from exertion. This is depletion of “Energy”. If all energy is used, the character passes out.
>If a character is sufficiently wounded, they will die.
>Death is a final sentence. If a character dies in game, they die in real life.
>Sleep is necessary in the game, as the real life body needs a shutdown period after the mind has been going all day.
>Pain is felt, but it is only a fraction of what one would feel in real life.
>to heal a wound you need a healer or a balm to rub on it, but the balms are terribly expensive, 100 pence per one use jar. Potions cannot heal wounds, and balms cannot heal internal wounds or broken bones.

Equipment

>Weapons do not change throughout, but they are upgraded by orbs to look better and to be more finely crafted, usually getting lighter and sharper.
>Outfits and armor does no drastically change, but will improve in defense and in appearance after upgrading.
>Weapons and outfits cannot become unreasonably perfect. Like, no Sephiroth swords, and they cannot become light as a feather, and plate mail cannot become as easy to wear as cloth armor, ever.

Fighting

>No such thing as damage points, but rather how quickly a monster dies is dependant on skill of the wielder and the craftsmanship of the weapon.
>Battle is done in a certain order of posts which is decided by the person to introduce the monster. This order must not be broken so everyone gets a chance to post.

Tryferia

>A day in the game is the same as a day on earth. 24 hours.
>There are two moons and a sun slightly larger than our own which can be stared at for as long as you want.

Shops and Items

>Currency is pence.
>10 pence is roughly equal to 1 dollar.
>The inventory is a rucksack that is always with the character. If it gets lost, it will be returned to the player soon.
>This rucksack can carry more than it looks like it can and never gets heavier than when it's empty, it also always looks empty.
>Upgrades are orbs and are used right after buying. They disappear into a cloud of smoke and the weapon upgrades itself.

Hygiene

>Hygiene does not in any way decrease over time. There is no need for characters to take baths. Blood also disappears if a character happens to sleep with some on them. Basically appearance resets itself overnight.

The Real World

>The test facility is located in Seattle, Washington.
>The game is constantly being monitored by real people
>The AI is very advanced, but on some occasions the real people may step in and control what the NPCs say and do.
>The monitoring also means that if information needs to be given to a player a letter can appear in their hand at any given moment, although information is rarely given out if ever, except for the first letter.

Other

>The in-game name isn't chosen by programmers. There are actually no set names for characters, just they call themselves whatever they want to. Lots of freedom without a little bar over your head displaying a username.
>Myth Online is a remake of a remake of a remake. The very first was not created by me, but it was years ago, so couldn't tell you who made it. The second was made by me about a year ago. The third was a massive success of 600 pages starting on the first of July. This is a continuation of that one, which was closed for a break a week before this one started up.

The young troll king, Brolk, has declared that all elves are to be terminated on site. The elves have proclaimed the same. Though the trolls' numbers are not as great, they make up for it in brute strength. The humans of Thrystra received a message from Elda's runners, asking for assistance. Thrystra has, in turn, sent a message to the world of Tryferia, hoping a diplomat may take up the cause. Though the army amasses, they seek peace on the battle field.

There is a young boy in Jierda city, that holds some very special abilities. This boy is able to see into the hearts of others, to see their intentions, to see their secrets, and to see their past. With these abilities he can tell whether someone is friend or foe. The King of Elda has requested that the young boy be brought from Jierda to Elda, and be kept there. It is your job to escort him there safely, and protect him from those who seek his power.

Also thank you Krae_Nai and jonitsu88 for helping with the naming process.

Gintaras
A citadel that is called a city. This fairly large citadel skipped the whole process of developing a town to guard. Was originally made to guard many of the mountain passes and to provide some defense to the many large creatures that inhabit the Monti-via and would love to cause untold amounts of destruction. The city is inhabited by what would be best called angels. They aren't the completely the angels of many religions but they did have the wings. They are just as prone to corruption as anyone and many have become self-centered but none are considered fallen angels. They do have a gift with restorative magic and holy magic and some have been known to have to ability to give others the ability of flight. The few who can grant flight are unknown to all but the elite of the city and even then it is limited. Even the king of Tryferia would have trouble getting to meet one such angel and then the wings are not guaranteed. They are only given to a select few outsiders.

Seraph's Grove
This place is a holy place amongst men and angels and some of the other races. The building have been defended from many of the horrors of the world and is a nexus of holy energies. While there are little services other than prayer and the odd marriage this place is considered on of the most important places for a holy pilgrimage. This is the place where the true angels will talk to those who are deemed pure of heart and will give them a great blessing. The building has been threatened on more than one occasion but a threat against this one building generally unites those who would not normally fight with each other and will bring out those who wouldn't fight to join in somehow.

J'oran City

The economic centre, J'oran has many many shops and houses, each with many stories cramped together around cobblestone streets. It's always bustling, and very safe. There are never any thieves or bad people there. In the centre is a large open square, where a marketplace is. Players can buy most anything here. There is a high wall around the city, with four wrought iron gates which are closed at night, but can be opened upon request. Monsters never get in, the city can be sealed up completely in the event of a war.

Borulle

A small town, with little defense, sometimes falls under attack. There is nothing to do here, it is mostly an outpost town for players to rest and restock while travelling.

Thrystra City

The royal city. The king and his family reside here, and it is completely safe from anything. It sits atop a hill, with a wall around it and a beautiful, rich city inside. There are no beggars, everyone lives happily here.

Hurington

The last town before the Terra Mountains, this city is vulnerable to attack, but always is able to fend things off. Players can buy everything they need here before travelling to the mountain. It also sells the most powerful charms and accessories here.

Jierda City

An old city, it used to be the centre of commerce, but now houses only a lazy inn, a few shops and a handful of houses. The other buildings are deserted.

Sökkvabekkr

Sökkvabekkr is a bustling city that grew up from a small hamlet. At one point in time there use to be a garrison for the local armies but that has long since disappeared and has been replaced by the warring gangs. There is little in terms of justice or law here. All problems have to be solved by the people affect even if it means death. This means that this city is a hub for thieves, mercenaries and every other sort of criminal element because they can all get work here.

Because of the garrison there are many towers that were used to protect the coast but are now used to signify the entering of a different groups territory. Whoever owns the keep is the current ruler of the city and they have the most pull. The city is almost never attacked because mounting an attack if foolish at best because no one will fight fair.

Elda City

The houses are perched atop trees, this is where the elves live, and is terribly hard to find. Many special plant-based items can be found here where they can't be found elsewhere. There are many incredibly strong monsters around, but they are held off by a magic force field.

Wyrya City

The fabled Wyrya city houses the enchantingly beautiful fairies, an elusive race that some don’t even believe to exist. They are half our height with blue skin and large, pure black eyes. They almost resemble insects. They have the wings of a dragonfly and flit around the city. The city is built for flyers, so it is near impossible to get to the different levels of the city without help, which the fairies often delay to give out.

Surtr

The desert jewel. It is surrounded by a moat, which is the only source of water in the entire wasteland. The people here are dark skinned with odd accents, unlike anything ever heard before. It seems to resemble an eastern European sound, ever so slightly, but mostly it is very foreign. This is a magical area, with ancient tombstones with many treasures and secrets.

Fiolsvith

A quaint little town. The people here are wonderfully hospitable. There is a monastery nearby, built on top of the ruins of an old monastery that had been invaded by followers of the evil beast that once terrorized this land. It was burnt down and all of the nuns and clerics were thought to have died either by the sword or in the fire. Underneath there are rumored to be catacombs which hide great evils.

The town has now been burnt down, and the monastery has been turned into the headquarters of Samael.

Völuspá

It sits at the foot or Terra mountains, and although terribly vulnerable, it always seems to be peaceful.

Knurhiem Caves

Deep within the barren Terra Mountains lay the intricate network of caves. There is only one entrance, and it is guarded by a fierce dragon. Deep within the heart of the caves lays the Goblin city. They are nice enough, but will confiscate all weapons and may or may not take a hostage to ensure nothing goes wrong. They are wary, but if you are peaceful they will leave you alone. Monsters in the cave include cave trolls and goblins, but stray goblins should not be killed if they do not attack first.

Ebrithil Woods

Incredibly creepy with many twisted, dead trees, there is always a dark cloud and a gloomy aura around these woods. There is never daylight, just a dim gray light to signify daytime.

Orya Forest

A beautiful, cheery forest, which ironically houses some of the strongest beasts around, forest trolls. They are sparse, but will prove to be quite a challenge if faced. This is where Elda City is found.

Terra Mountains

The dreaded mountains, always barren, snow covered and cold without let up. Dragons are the primary monsters, and can be seen flying around in the air or perched atop the summit with their nests in small caves. Mostly will not attack unless you get too close.

Heilla Mountains

Mist covers them at all hours, and the air is very warm here. The mountains are steep, and falling could prove to be detrimental. Inside there is the dwarf city, with many entrances. Most of the time there is no need to walk around the outside. There are no monsters around here save the rare, easy goblin.

Adurna River

Stretches all across the land. Rumors say it leads to Wyrya city.

Mithrim Meadows

A vast expanse of rolling hills, punctuated by pockets of trees and dirt paths. Very safe, monsters usually stay in the wooded areas. Sometimes there may be farms, but they are sparse and are usually closer to the cities.

The Wasteland

A large desert, where no one wants to be except maybe to take a travelling shortcut or to fight monsters around the edges. There are small sand beasts, but nothing too terrifying awaits you here, except of course the blistering heat of the day and the icy nights, and the miles and miles of sandy hills which could drive any man mad.

The Marshes

There is an eerie aura round this marsh. Most don't even go here, and few stay long if they must. Most common enemies found are the undead.

Kvethra Lake

A lovely, peaceful lake. A gentle water dragon lives here, but is rarely sighted. It is rumored there are mermaids living in the lake. They are said to have come from the Great Sea via the west entrance.

The Abandoned Tower
A large structure that has been vacant for many years. Most locals know much better than to venture near. The waste-high, blood red flowers that litter the surrounding area have an intoxicating effect; some are driven mad and others disappear in the large red mass never to be seen again. It was fabled to house the darkest magician on Tryferia, the flowers sprouting from the spilled blood after an unknown hero sliced him in two.

The Flaming Sea
A place of extreme heat that few will every visit without good reason. The Flaming Sea is a peculiar part of the desert as it doesn't follow the normal weather of the desert, at least not the freezing nights. During the day the sun blazes and in certain light the sands look like a fire, constantly moving and some floating in the air. Having a breeze here isn't a good thing since it won't cool anyone down and it won't be a gentle breeze. Whenever there is wind there is a sandstorm that will whip up the burning sand, it is said that some have been badly burned through this. This is only during the day, during the night it is somehow worse. While the cause isn't known during the night the sands somehow get hotter and at some points will get hot enough to form glass. There is one main reason why outsiders would traverse this horrid place, the nomads that manage to live there. The nomads in the desert have grown to the harsh conditions and have made equipment to suit. They have the best weapons and armour of anyone but they are always on the move and are never slowed by the sands.

The Twin Spires
Two spires of rock protrude from the ever changing sands of the wasteland almost as a landmark for people. There has yet to be a person who could tell how these spires were formed but no one will complain since they are one of the best landmarks in the desert. No matter when one camps there people will be with them. A old outpost from the days of old also have managed to remain there and is inhabited by some of the guards from Surtr and a few merchants to provide water and protection. It is said that if one climbs to the top of either spire on a clear day they can see to the mountains and the still active volcano in the sea.

The Great Pillars
Massive stone islands, most of which stand over ten stories high. There are intricate cave networks inside, and it is rumored that there is much pirate treasure inside. Also, there are also rumors of extreme danger inside. The caves house sirens and watery creatures, and I the waters around there are water dragons.

Talodor

Krota
Krota is a place of great history and importance. It is said to be the last stronghold of the rulers of Talodor and is a place where the god can be talked to and interacted with, at their discretion. It is a place of great power and is home to few people but they are all people with great power. Despite it being the Royal Family's last stronghold it isn't taken care of by anyone who is sympathetic to the Royal Family and no one who lives there at all times is born from the royal family or even hits at the bloodline. The place is covered by what some would call the everlasting night for half the year and the moon is said to be at it's best this in this place. The beings that inhabit the stronghold are said to be beings of the undead, vampires to be more exact, and they are supposed to be some of the more ancient of their clan, likely the originals.

Ladrina
Ladrina is the last major city before the Frozen Waste. It carries many of the goods of the handful of towns in the Waste at a much higher price then they would cost in the Waste and probably much more then they should really cost. Since the only other way to get these goods is to chance death the price is often not contented. Many of the merchants in the area are greedier then they should be and most common goods will cost much more than they would in other areas, including the nearby cities. People will still buy it so they still manage to turn a very large profit and they almost all stay in business. Traveling in the area is always a challenge.

Dracona
Dracona is a large monastery that houses many monks. They are strictly non-violent and are some of the best history keepers in the world. They have records of most of history written by the monks who have traveled from the monastery to gather the knowledge of the world. Garlen
Garlen is one of the four ports in Talodor. It like the others provides docks to all the major trade routes and is a provider of fish and other aquatic life to the people of Talodor and to those of the world is offered enough money.

Kotora
Kotora is the capitol of Talodor. It is a fairly large city and is inhabited by all the beings that walk the plains of Talodor, free or bound is a different question. Almost anything can be bought in the city since there is a trade for it all and some of the prices are many times higher than they would be in any other place. It is often dark in the city and walking the streets at night isn't safe for most beings. No matter how strong a person is the things that lurks the night can kill with ease, it is defended against by charms and other things but that doesn't lessen the fear of it. The rulers know of the being and some say that they are the ones who have control over it and allow it to roam free to keep the populous in check.

Lucidina
Lucidina is a large castle that is often used to host large parties, led by the royals, and is also used to watch the rivers. It is also an outpost for the mountains behind it which are said to contain a great number of beast that are not to walk this world freely. The stronghold here is strong and there is almost always some work in lessening the population of beasts that roam the surrounding areas so they do not overwhelm the guards that are there. The beast in the area are also hunted by the royals yearly in what is called the great hunt and the meat is often used to feed a great number of people once they are cooked in a certain way.

Kothr
Kothr is one of the four major strongholds of the days when the rule of Talodor was split. It is used to guard the river to stop any potential outside attacks from it. It has been redesigned to be able to assault ships at the cost of it's ability to defend against some ground attacks.

Frozen Wastes
The Frozen Wastes are just that. It is one of the naturally cold places in the world getting down to a chilling -80°C and at its hottest time getting up to a little over -10°C. The people of the Wastes have learned many techniques to be able to deal with the unbearable cold that they often have to deal with. They are traders of a great many exotic things that only happen to exist in their environment and they have some of the best cold resistant gear around, especially since none if it is magically enhanced.

Aedal
Aedal is one of the four major strongholds of the days when the rule of Talodor was split. It have become unused for its original purpose in its age. It has been taken over by bandits and up kept by them. It is often used to host attacks against the other places and it is a great defensive structure which is the only reason why the group has lasted as long as it has.

Nagra
Nagra is a Cathedral that has seen the horrors of war and didn't survive. It was once a magnificent building and some would say that is has lost little of its beauty because of the damage dealt to it. It is no longer used by any major group for its original methods but it has been used for squatters and bandits at one point or another after its destruction. It has also been the place of the majority of the dark art rituals in the area and it is said that some vampires will often visit the area when congregating. What every happen it has lost its rank as a holy building and most holy men and women will avoid the place like the plague with fear of death.

Gala
Gala is a manor that is owned by rulers of Niflheim.

Dinsena
Dinsena is a small walled town. It isn't reputed for anything great but it is independent from all groups and can defend itself.

Vorrn
Vorrn is a small mining town that supplies much of the raw iron for most of the world. Despite it's small size it can provide much, this is because everyone in the town works and no one who isn't working in the mines can live in the city. It is guarded by many cities and nations and is likely a town that would never get attacked, it would only change hands without effecting the town.

Guniee
A port that doesn't deserve the title of a town. This place is extremely small and despite it's importance to Niflheim's it will likely never get any large. It can dock up to three First-rate ships of the line so it isn't overly small but there is nothing to the town but the harbour.

Niflheim
The city forever covered with water. This city is a splendor amongst the cities of Tryferia and there are few places that can beat it in beauty, at least for most people. The city is almost always covered in a constant mist caused by the waterfalls that surround the place. The city is always energized and moving and it is said that it will only be silent at the end of days, some doubt even then. It has all sorts of people and any race is welcome in the city as if they were one and trade is free to happen here. It is said that some demons and angels have been know to congregate here but that is all just rumours, which may be true. During the day there is almost always a rainbow masking the sky. During the night it can be as bright as day yet there isn't a single lantern in the city. The constant spray of water reflects the light and seems to amplify it. The nights here are suppose to be amazing for couples and the scenes painted of the nights here are always considered amazing.

Duat
A fairly large port of trade that has earned the title of town and safe haven. This port is extremely well guarded and while their may be crime here it doesn't last for too long no matter the strength of the foe. The Light Elves of Álfheimr do not like those who wish to cause harm or damage to other to step onto their land and Duat is one line of defense. The number of guards rivals that of Thrysta City and a great majority of them could destroy a town with the magical energies at their beck and call. Duat is also has the largest concentration of bound demons and everyone of them is under the command of a guard. While they could fight they can also get the demons to fight for them and strike instant fear into the hearts of their foes.

Álfheimr
The magical center of the world and home of the Light Elves. This place is a nexus of pure magical energy uncorrupted by the influence of other sides. It is said that when a person enters the city they are put on a permanent high and they feel as if they could go weeks without sleep. Magical users get an even greater effect and feel as if they could be time and space to their will, which is often not to far from the truth. This city is influenced greatly by magical energy and the entire city is kept together by it. The water that flows through the city is formed by magic and is said to never end and to give more energy then any other liquid. The secret to the large amount of magical energy is the crystals that make up the core of the mountain the city is on. It attracts and stores magical energy from the land and all magical energy eventually returns to it. It purifies it and then some of the energy is free to flow across the world while most is kept in the city. It is said to be impossible to touch the crystal because the defenses are set up in such as way that it could take the island out before someone got to the crystal and reform it before the majority of the world knew.

Asilu
A city that challenges Sökkvabekkr in crime. This city was always filled with crime of some sort and is said to be where the headquarters of many crime organizations and guilds are. There is no law here and the populous doesn't even attempt to hold some kind of it. A mother could be killed in front of their child and no one would care about what happened, if the child wished to do something they could but no one would stop their death either. Everyone in this city can fight and a majority of them can disappear in said fight. This city has the largest concentration of free demons and fallen angels since no one cares, if they can live then good on them. It is a known fact that within the city somewhere there is a guild for the greater assassins and one for thieves as well but finding them is near impossible and no one will tell the way with a dagger in their chest.

Hoddmímis holt
A place of sanctuary. This temple is unknown to most people of the world and it isn't marked on any map. It isn't overly special to most people since it doesn't have treasure nor is it a place of particular magical strength so it is often overlooked and left off of maps. Most people don't attempt to solve the puzzles in the place either but that is neither here nor there. The place and be made into a place of unimaginable strength and is said to be where one can safe during the end of times if they could solve the puzzles inside that legend isn't past on too often and no one links it to this out of the way temple.

Aunowind

Storms Peak
Storms Peak is a training ground and a place often used for competition. Many of the ryu that inhabit Aunowind will send their warriors here to train and this is where the yearly tournament takes place. It is where the emperor's new guards are chosen. There is a period of time where the emperor is guarded by most of the ryu but this is only for a few weeks in the change and during the tournament. The tournament is said to be watched by people far and wide and the warriors that showcase their skills are often the best next the the masters and grandmasters of each group. No matter who wins or loses there is little honor lost but there is almost always a death, often on purpose. Losing body parts is expected and a sign of experience.

Denallus
Denallus is a large trading port. It is where most trade ships come to get good from Aunowind and it has all the positives and negatives that go along with it. It isn't an overly law abiding town but the trades that are important to the survival of the continent ,and more importantly the rulers, are often guarded by large caravans of troops who will be able to protect if from almost any attack. Trade ships with important goods often leave in groups that are guarded by man-of-wars to deter any pirate attacks, this does not stop them from happening it just lessens their occurrence.

Ardonia
Ardonia is a small port town. It provides a large majority of the fish for Aunowind and the fish are exported all over the world, after it has been smoked or salted. It is said the fish is some of the best and it is sought after by all.

Cora
Cora is a small port that doesn't have any great reputation. It does have some small independent trade with the islands to the north of it.

Onesa
Onesa is the silk producing center of the world. It is one of the handful of places that produces silk and it rarely trades the product in it raw form. Silk garments are usually made in the city by very experienced tailors and then sold off. The raw silk that does come out of the city costs many times more then it would to by the silk garments per made but it is used to make sure they will always have an income. They try to keep a hold on anything dealing with silk but they cannot control everything but they do try their hardest and anything that is outside their trade is small and stopped relatively quickly.

Ezil
Ezil is a large temple between two rice fields, one to the north and one to the south. It provides services as both a temple and as a home to the workers of the rice fields. It also stores the rice for the short while it will stay and it stores the rice that is used to feed the workers.

Pathos
Pathos is the capitol of Aunowind. It is a very large city and likely one of the only with buildings that could almost be classed as skyscrapers. It is the home to many of the ryu of Aunowind and is the center of technological development of the world. The buildings here are built around allowing as many people to live in the city with a smaller space and most were built onto the original structures by strengthening them. Underneath the city every building is connected to each other by what use to be the original city but have become mostly supports. Even the original streets can be followed but there are more support structures then their would have been in its original state. This underground city is limited to few amongst the peasants who are there to clean it. The rest who are allowed there are the engineers who help make it stronger and the guards of the emperor who use it to watch the city. The emperor is often transported through these tunnels since they are far safer then the streets ever could be, it is near impossible to break through what use to be the roofs and the new streets. It is a mixture of wood, steel and magic to make it nearly unbreakable. If this structure ever broke the death of an emperor would be the least of the cities worries. It is likely that the entire city would fall.

Laydora
Laydora is a humongous rainforest. It is humid most of the year and heavy rains are very common. There are tribal villages inside the forests but no one ever knows exactly where they are or even if they will be there the next time. Much of the outermost forest is used for coffee production since the shade is great for the coffee beans and some would say that the beans from there are some of the best. There are beasts in the forest that are rarely seen and that after one sighting might never be found again. There are also many obscure plants and animals that are around the trees that could heal many wounds and sicknesses easily.

Eden
Eden is a colony in Laydora. It has no central owner but representatives of each of the other continents are there so they can get their fair trade. It is the central point for coffee trade from the area and has the most different types of blends from the continent. It is more expensive than going to the individual tribes to get the coffee beans but they know what all the different tribes what for the beans, something which is often not obvious to most others. There are few commercial traders who know the secrets of coffee traders of the city and fewer independent ones, the pirates know the most about what to trade though they rarely trade, it is more profitable to steal from the merchant ships.

Acerda
Acerda is a small tribal village. There are few people who constantly live in this village and all the houses are poorly built huts. They are some of the supporters of the coffee trade and they have large groves of coffee in the shade of the forests.

Bellato
Bellato is a small tribal village. There are few people who constantly live in this village and all the houses are poorly built huts. They will often trade with passing ships and pirates if they know how to communicate with them. They harvest the seas for many exotic fish and are one of the coastal groups that trade with the coffee making tribes making them prime traders.

>Important NPCs<

Álfheimr

Rato Ashtraveller Knight
Rato is a headstrong Magus who has a great control over magical energies. He was a prodigy in the field of magical manipulation, especially for being born outside the great city of magic. Supposedly born in Niflheim with his sister to unknown parents he managed to manipulate the surrounding energies to form his sister and himself food. He can be silent at times because he sees no need to talk unless it will be helpful and will never speak out of turn. If addressed he will respond to anything but otherwise he will wait until there seems to be a break and use it to talk about something, to matter how awkward it may be. He is rarely seen without his sister near by and he won't leave her side unless forced or she asks him to. It isn't that he wants to protect her so much, it is that he needs her to do many things. Without her he would never speak nor express himself and they have a great bond that most seem to envy. In close proximity they can feel what the other does, be it painful or pleasant. His gift is with magic but nothing else and it shows under any setting.

Ruka Ashtraveller Knight
Ruka is Rato's slightly older sister and the more expressive of the pair. She was lacking any natural gift in magical manipulation. She relied heavily on him while she was young since he seemed to be able to support them both with his magical gift. When one of the Light Elves came to Niflheim for reasons that need not be discussed they felt the energies being manipulated in the area of some children. He wasn't gifted enough to tell which was the gifted if not both so he brought them both back. She was quickly said to not have any gift in the arts but when they couldn't get her brother to talk without her they accepted her into training as well. She pushed herself to become one of the better ones in the art of defensive magic and one of the better ones at talking to the divine beings. She is expressive and impatient which compliments her brothers nearly lack of speaking. She is very stubborn and once her mind is set she will do what she sets out to do, no matter the challenges. She can tell when a goal is impossible to reach long before others will and will rarely take those tasks on. She seems to be oblivious to anyone flirting with her and won't give most men the time of day.

Urhatt King
Urhatt is as as old as time itself and seemingly as impervious to change. He is very observant about his surrounding and is considered one of the most powerful beings in not the most powerful. He can call upon the full power of Álfheimr yet none have seen it in many, many years and he founded the city long ago with the one person he could connect with. He was born without the ability to speak nor communicate easily with others, he can understand everything he is told but he is often unable to reply. He won't use other means to speak to other nor rule, he doesn't need to. Everything that he can do he will and it will be noticed quickly otherwise he won't help. His body constantly morphs into weird mixes of different things but his original body was that of a light elf all those years ago.

Naleet Queen
Naleet was born shortly after the creation of the world yet never seemed to age after a point. She met Urhatt shortly after her birth and could tell her was very powerful, more so than anyone else she had ever met. She seemed to be one of the few who could understand him since when she could tell his response to certain things it seemed to genuinely surprise him. She could effectively read his mind and it allowed him to communicate with her. She founded the great city of magic with him, they both felt the magical energy in the are long before they reached it. He was the one who set everything up and to her it was like it was there when they arrived but she knew otherwise. Her focus was on the energies associated with death and those of enchantment. She was powerful in her own right and she could imbue most things with magical energies and knowledge in some cases. A few books that she has “wrote” have no text just blank pages. When one knows what they are doing they can extract the knowledge from the book and learn what she put into in seconds, it could be something that would take a normal lifetime to learn. She is quick witted and short tempered. She is at times considered to be cold and uncaring and despite her position of ruler-ship she will rarely help others.

Niflheim

Sedna Lucia Queen
Sedna is one of the rulers of Niflheim and likely the saddest person in the city. She hides the sadness very well and to the public she can be one of the more outgoing and happy people in the realm. She knows that her husband has been cheating on her for years which is one of the reasons for her sadness but not the only one. She has been naturally a sad person from birth, at least in secret and she has never really talked about it with anyone. The only person who knows about her hidden sadness is her knight, Ourania, and that was purely by chance. She is often who makes the most important decisions in the city. She got her position almost by chance. Barlaam needed a wife so he could claim his right to the throne of Niflheim. She happened to be closest to him and was the most willing to marry him without question and without caring about the vows. She wanted the power but as time went on she regretted her decision. She is not allowed to marry another man no matter the circumstance and she isn't allowed to be around many without just cause. Barlaam won't fulfill her needs but no one else is allowed to attempt to which leave her in almost constant sorrow, one that won't soon be healed.

Ourania Ilaria Knight
Ourania is Lorne's wife of two years and the knight assigned to guard Sedna and be a emissary for Niflheim. She is a caring woman and seems to try and bear the problems of others while she will often fail. She is very supportive of her charge Sedna and won't talk to Lorne about the problems that the queen if having. She believes that she doesn't have the right to discuss such a personal topic without permission, which is true. She can be very assertive and aggressive when the time calls for it but she generally tries to defend all others from harm if she can. She met Lorne while she was being trained for knighthood. She quickly fell in love with the man who seemed to be quite aggressive and stupid, but in an attractive way. Once they were both inaugurated into the royal guard they were married and assigned to guard the rulers of the land.

Barlaam Rodolphe King
Barlaam is a fairly carefree soul and a fairly oblivious man. He is considered by many to be a flirt and known to sleep around a lot. He was born into a royal family and was use to always having money and power over others. He could get any woman that he wanted and they would never oppose him nor would they complain when he left them in the morning without as much as a goodbye. When his parents died he needed to have a wife to keep his claim to the throne as his younger bothers already had on but her was eldest. In the rules of the city all rulers need to be wed so to be able to rightfully make his claim he needed to be wed as well. He met his wife by running out into the streets and finding a woman that he hadn't slept with and one that was willing to wed him without too much fuss. He wanted it to be quick and the marriage was only for appearance reasons, he knew he would never talk to his wife nor sleep with her. He didn't want to risk anything with the woman who was his queen, they had power which was something that he greatly feared.

Lorne Hugues Knight
Lorne can be really stupid at times and is very aggressive. He doesn't think about what he is going to do next, even if it could mean his death, and he is very quick to angry at all but Ourania. He almost never gets angry with her and on the few occasions he does her is quickly sorry even if it seems to make her a little happy when he does. He guards Barlaam from harm when he is allowed to and is in the city. He is often told to leave the king alone and will listen to those orders since he knows full well what the king is doing. He doesn't know how is affects Sedna and whenever he asks Ourania she says that she can't tell him. He accepts this and doesn't try to push it because it isn't something he has to deal with nor thinks about long enough to see how it could be effecting her. He was destined to be a knight from birth, being taught the sword at a young age and never stopping. His father was a knight as well but didn't hold as high a standing as he currently does.

Elda City

Esdaal King
Esdaal is very paranoid and is xenophobic. He isolates himself from most people and will not talk to anyone from outside of Elda City, even if they happen to be of the same race. He doesn't trust many in his own court, including his wife, and it is said that he is often seen talking to himself in tongues. He is almost always seen carrying his journal and is willing to fight to keep others from looking at it. None besides for him have seen what is inside the pages of the book and it is unlike that any ever will until his death. He was born into royalty and was taught many things about the world, some which may not have been completely true. When he was a child he was traveling with his parents outside of Elda City their caravan was attacked and his mother killed, his father seriously injured. His father managed to live once they made it back into the forest but Esdaal didn't really trust anyone afterward. Why didn't his father protect his mother better and why were they even attacked. He was promised to Nightshine at birth and no matter his feeling they were to be wed. Shortly after their wedding his father died and he took his position as ruler of the city, no matter how ill prepared he was to do so.

Nightshine Queen
Nightshine is conniving and manipulative to no end. She is known to have many masks and will act differently around everyone she talks to so she can get what she wants to them. Unless she meets the person in a group setting then she takes in one of her more neutral masks but still not her true self. It is rare for someone to see the real her and she plans to keep it that way. She is know to abuse Esdaal's mistrust of everyone so she can get her way. She was born into a high family in Elda City and was promised to the first born son of the King. She was taught a lot about how power can be abused in different ways and how to raise ones self above all others. Her parents weren't native to Elda and thus didn't care as much about the forest, they cared more about power. Her family was from Asilu and they brought the skills needed there where they went.

Tatang Knight
Tatang was born in the depths of the forest. Some say that she like her counterpart were born from the forest since neither have parents and bother had just as mysterious births. She is carefree and almost always happy. She doesn't have a personality that makes for a good guard since she takes few things seriously but she is a great people person and given the personalities of the rulers it she is needed for that reason. She was trained by the rangers of the forest so she is great at tracking and she has her own gift of being able to get around most animals with ease. It is like they understand her. She prefers to be around people a lot more then her male counterpart and she seems to avoid overexposure to nature since she is certain that it would harm her skills with talking to others. She talks to outsides more than anyone else in Elda City and she likely could make a great many deals with her links but she doesn't,

Ashfeather Knight
Ashfeather is very quiet but not unable to speak. He says only what is needed and will almost always speak very monotone. He is strongly connect to nature and will often stay in the forests over talking to people or being around them. His armour often reflects how much time he has spent in the forest, often very still, by the moss that often seems to cover his armour. He is known to be away from all people for months at a time only to be interrupted by Tatang requiring him for something. He is suppose to be the emissary with her no matter how strange it is. He brings the care of nature to the court where neither of the rulers really care for it. He was trained by one of the watchers in the art of swordplay and while not trained in the art of tracking nor survival but he trained himself in both.

Surtr

Wahid Abd-al-Karim Granya King
Wahid is unforgiving and a little pompous now that he is ruler. He always had a large ego and wanted to overextend his power but he couldn't. It wasn't until his daughter was born that he had a method of getting his power. He used his daughter's gift of photographic memory and gift in being able to advise people in to how to improve to gain his power. The respect she got he used to raise himself above the others and get himself into a position to be king. He was to be wed to the king's daughter who was the only heir to the throne but he had to divorce his first wife first. He didn't seem to have and qualms about doing so even if it broke his wife's heart. This proved what type of man he was more than anything he had done up to date. To attempt to give his first wife some compensation he made her one of the royal knights but made sure that she was almost always outside of the city. This was of course after the king before him died of mysterious circumstances that neither he nor his current wife talk about.

Zulekha Ikraam Granya Queen
Zulekha was the daughter of the previous king and was trained from birth to be self sufficient. She doesn't want to rely on others in any way and refuses most help. She also refuses to be protected by others and denies her husband the same protection. She will protect him from any attack and is known to follow him wherever he goes, noticed or not. She it protective and while she won't admit it, very needy. She needs to have others and she needs to know that she can protect them no matter what comes to attack them, she needs someone to hold during the night as well. Her father was from the desert but her mother was from Thrysta City. She always wanted a good relationship between the two cities and continues to work towards that goal. She knew that Wahid left his first wife to be with her and that he gave his first wife a rank in the knight's but she won't give him the same leash. He may look like the ruler and for most purposes he is but in social event he is limited to how far she is willing to let him stray.

Taliba Hind Knight
Taliba was Wahid's first wife and Elsa's mother. Her personality is broken now, she didn't take the divorce well since Wahid was everything to her. They had nothing so they had each other and their children and that took a lot of her but when he left her for power it destroyed her. The armour that she always wears now is almost a physical representation of her personality. The lighter half that believes in true love and attempts to be happy by blocking out all memory of her former husband and by being ignorant of all the evil in the world. It shows itself rarely and generally only when someplace is completely peaceful. It knows her daughter from her old life but nothing else. Her other is her darker half, the realistic one who remembers everything. It has a very bleak view of the world and believes in killing all people but will limit herself at those who oppose her. It takes all the pain that the body feels with either personality and can use it to push herself beyond most limits. Death isn't a problem for this side, hope is. This personality is around more often can seems to be very controlling. Both personalities have trust issues whether either will admit is up to time. The lighter one will rarely do so but there are occasions that it will. Elsa is the only one that can make either of them always admit to it for some reason.

Faizel Mehrdad Knight
Faizel is a nomad. He likes being able to move without a care in the world and is said to have commitment issues. He is from The Flaming Sea and he grew up constantly on the move so he is well accustom to it. He learnt to fight from the guards of the moving caravan and seemed to be brought up as a fighter not a blacksmith. His parents wanted him to be a blacksmith since it was safer but her was much better as a fighter, he never seemed to catch on to forging. He was taken up by the knights in Surtr when he was fifteen a regiment of the knights of Surtr can to get new weapons from the caravan. They decided that they would try and take the weapons without paying and he and another guard decided to stop them. Even with the new weapons the Surtr fighters seemed to be no match for the two of them but the fact that he was young and killed many of the guard without a scratch seemed to interest the leader of the regiment. The leader reprimanded the ones who tried to take the weapons and managed to live, he also paid double the price for all the weapons that had been used a compensation. He did request that Faizel come with them back to the city. He would make sure that the nomads were paid handsomely and would get guards to replace the one lost. The caravan agreed grudgingly, if anything became of Faizel then it would be better in the long run. Having a nomad with power in the city would allow greater respect.

Thrystra

Torgeir Wolfgang Wallace King
Torgeir was the son of a powerful warlord and he didn't stray far from the path. He is bloodthirsty at times but it was something that his father trained out of him since it is a bad trait in a leader. He is willing to do what is needed even if others consider it to be too extreme. He is a born leader and all who hear him speak say that he always inspires them to be better and no matter the odds he can always give them hope. He is a great fighter and when his troops are going to fight he will often try to join them since it often compels them to fight better. He takes a more hands on role in almost all the things that he does as king. He doesn't like sitting around and doing nothing and is often out of the castle without a guard anywhere in sight. He is very certain of his ability to protect himself and he is certain that one of his guards is almost always around him, just not seen. He was chosen by Frieda to be her husband when she was traveling in the realm that he unofficially ruled over. He saved her while she was being attacked by an opposing group. She seemed to think that he would be a decent husband and a great king so she offered to be his wife on the condition that he move to Thrystra City. He accepted and brought his group along, making most of them into the guard after they were trained a little better.

Frieda Connie Wallace Queen
Frieda is a lover of animals but more so lizards and dragons. This love is shown through the dragon that she constantly takes care of and is almost always with her. The dragon she keeps with her is young and small but by no means weak. It could easily kill most men but it doesn't unless they threaten her. It is her guardian and her friend. She is a good judge of character and very open about her views on things. She is known to have a very strategic mind and is known to give better advice in war than battle harden veterans since she can see uses for everything. She believes in all the races helping each other but if limited she will devise ways to use the races that ally themselves with the humans to defeat any foe. Her father was king of Thrystra City and believed in letting her do what she wanted. Her mother did not think along the same lines but her father got last saw in most things. She was always allowed to watch the men fight and listen into discussions about how to take down cities and foes. She was also allowed to travel to many of the cities and met many of the royals of the others races besides the current rulers of Elda City which she understands. She saw the advantage of how every city brought up their people and can tell what each group will be good for. She met her husband while on one of these trips. While she had her dragon to guard her along with a group of guards the group of raiders that attacked her managed to take out the guards and hold up her dragon. Torgeir and his men were in the area as well and as she was going to be captured or cut down he managed to come in killing three of the men threatening her in one fell swoop and then got ready to protect her from the others. She was impressed and could tell that he was a good man and once the threat was gone she asked to be his wife and give him her support as long as he came to Thrysta City. They now rule well and mange to keep the city in order.

Ora Mathilde Knight
Ora is a cautious person and will rarely be spontaneous. She likes to know every outcome of a situation she is getting in to and will avoid going into things that she doesn't know enough about out of fear of failing her task or dying. She wasn't always this way, she use to be the first to jump into any danger but after she lost the man she loved because of this she stopped. She became more cautious and very held back. Ora was born and trained in Thrystra City and has great love for the city and it's current rulers. She also had a great love for the previous ones. She will guard the current king with her life and that is likely the only spontaneous thing she would ever do.

Tore Shimmel Knight
Tore is young and optimistic. He is one of the youngest if not the youngest knight in the royal guard and he has an optimism that is rarely matched. He is cocky even if he lacks experience and will often go into situations that could end in his death without thinking about what he is doing. He has yet to be seriously wounded which leads him to think that he is better than he really is. He will often challenge others to fight but he has yet to get into a serious fight with someone better since no one has yet to take his challenge seriously but there will be a time that he will get a challenge. He was born Völuspá but was trained in Thrystra City. His parents moved to the capitol shortly after his birth. He has always been given some advantage over others and this is what fed his ego at first and it has yet to be proven wrong.

Gintaras

Rahton King
Rahton is a Chayot of great rank and was given a position in ruling the city of angels, even if they are not pure. He doesn't have the same values that he once did but he does try to uphold the values of god and will bring judgment to those who break the laws in his domain. He believes in true good and true evil and those that are evil in his eyes are killed on sight and he hold no mercy for them. He thinks of himself as a being of perfection as he does all angels but he isn't oppose to talking to the lesser races. He will generally use the lower ranked angels to act as a messenger between all the races. The only decently high ranked angel who has such a low task is Esarihn but there are reasons that are not discussed for this. He has an amazing control of fire and he has the strength to how up the throne of god and the earth itself if it came down to it. He is a true blooded angel who stayed after the fall and kept to his goal of holding up the throne of god. When he was asked to be a representative to the mortal plane he saw it as a punishment for something but he did not oppose the decision and does all he can to earn the good favour of the lord to regain his position in heaven again.

Enutuss Queen
Enutuss is a Er'el of low rank within the division. This does not mean that she was without power nor is she weak she just isn't as controlled as she could be. She is known for her power but she cannot control it once it starts. She is courageous and she does follow the beliefs of the lord. She cannot control much about herself though and when she gets into any state of mind it is usually in the extreme of those states. She is very hateful of those that break the tenants set out by the lord and will often get extremely angry with them very quickly, ending in the death of them and anyone who happened to get caught beside them. She was given partial rule of Gintaras to get her out of heaven and to give the more extreme view. She can also by some weird fluke give very good advice on any situation even if it is often filled with very powerful emotions.

Aseoph Knight
Aseoph is a Malakh. She acts almost solely as a messenger for the other angels of the city. She isn't outspoken or aggressive around anyone and is almost always pushed around by the others. The only reason she had what ranks she does is because of Esarihn. He seems to try and protect her from many of the others and he prefers that if she is going to be pushed around, which he knows she will, it is better to be from the rulers. She doesn't know how to really express herself nor how to protect herself from the spoken harassment. In terms of fighting she is great and manages to match other fighters in skills and technique. In pure skill she is better then Esarihn but she doesn't have much strength behind her hits and she generally doesn't start the fights herself, she needs to be told to start the fight. She was born destined to be a messenger and is the only one with power in Gintaras who isn't being punished for something. She got her power because someone who held more power said to let her get there otherwise she would be pushed around by everyone.

Esarihn Knight
Esarihn is a Seraph who lost two of it's wings. He is by far one of the strongest fighters in Gintaras and the most liberal of those in power. He doesn't take the lord's word as law and is often willing to bend rules for others but this does not mean he is a push over or that he won't punish others. He is a defender of the weak and to those that threaten the weak he is their worse nightmare. He isn't oppose to kill those who are generally considered evil but he is more willing to look at the situation from more than one angle. He is willing to take the blame for others and he is willing to take many blows to keep another safe. He lost two of his six wings as a punishment for not taking the lord's word as law and for going around his will. Being a Seraph he was constantly around the lord so he was always watched and after he lost a pair of his wings he was sent to the mortal plain. Rahton is not fond of him because he could be considered a fallen angel under the strictest classification but it seemed the lord had some mercy on him. He is treated worse then most angels would be even if they have no rank but he doesn't seem to really care about the mistreatment

Samael’s Followers

Valeria Eutropia Samael's Generalissimo. Units
Valeria is very quiet and reserved around almost everyone. She blinds herself and mutes herself through artificial means to better herself. She is almost always in a supposed state of zen and she is often seen playing a game of chess against some unknown foe, who will make moves. When she does speak it is usually only to Samael to make a suggestion about his next move. She will only take orders from him and will rarely respond to any other without being provoked or being ordered to by him. She is afraid of incests of any size and avoids standing forests and almost plans around them unless she has to force past them, then they are burned to the grown first. She is a genius on the battlefield and can make moves with any number of units and will almost always have is succeed with few casualties from her side if any. It is said that she can see an opponents weakness with ease and often without prodding for it. She cannot see yet it is often said she can see more than others and no one has yet to sneak up on her even with the help of magical means. She was not always a demon and to most they do not consider her one, she just serves one. She almost always had great strategic and tactical prowess and she could always call upon her units made of stone to help her. The only thing that he gave her that could make her considered a demon is eternal life by making her partially demon. Her sense were heightened slightly as well but even before few could sneak up on her.

Iudas Gideon Samael's Excubitor
Iudas can be patient and is sadistic. He takes great pleasure in watching other in writhing pain and enjoys delivering the pain even more. He rules the small division of troops he has through terror and will humiliate any of them who dare oppose him or fail to do the assigned task yet manage to live. He will often restrict the movement of those under his command just to do so and will rarely listen to reason. He isn't fond of many others that serve Samael and especially hates Valeria, mainly because he has to follow her orders. One of the few people who does show some admiration for is Morrigan because she has some of the same tactics as him. Iudas was born to torture and always enjoyed the pain of others. He is almost purely demon as neither of his parents were directly fallen angels nor did either of them show the trait of being such.

Nikephoros Iosaphat Samael's Hikanatoi
Nikephoros is a guardian through and through and is often very quite. He will rarely speak even when asked and he has yet to let his charge down. He will protect anyone he is charged to tell the death and even beyond it in some cases. He is very obedient and is willing to follow any command no matter how ridiculous. He doesn't have complete control over his thoughts but it is almost impossible for others to control his mind. He is currently set to protect Valeria, even if she doesn't need it. He isn't a demon but is constantly controlled by them. He was a powerful guardian while he was human but he died protecting his previous charge. He was brought back by Samael to be a guardian of his more respected people.

Morrigan Sunita Samael's Shieldmaiden
Morrigan is sadistic most of the time but is very protective of the small group of people she cares about and will let no harm come to them. While she is set to be a guardian she will often use others to protect herself and others, forcefully if needed. She does take pleasure from harming others and is known to watch other deal out pain but she doesn't believe in humiliating others nor restricting their movements. She is a supporter of striking fear into her opponents but not into her allies since she knows that it will lead them to betraying you when you need them most. The being that she often is seen riding has no will of it's own and can feel little if not no pain despite how much it receives. She uses it as a shield because of this. She is not a demon, but neither is she human. She doesn't attempt to be human nor does she care, she will live just as long and has just as much power as most demons. The being she rides on is a demon but it has no will so she doesn't count it as a living being. She started serving Samael out of a need of power and nothing else. She gets a great deal of control over others because of her supporting him and it is said by some that she may have grown fond of him. She will guard him which is one of the reasons why this is believed.

Rehoboam Ezekiel Samael's Blade Dancer
Rehoboam is a being of death. He cannot speak nor really communicate with other beings to any great degree. He is a being of death and is himself nearing death. He only wishes for all beings that oppose his master to die quickly and painfully and will go to any means to do this. He doesn't seem to have any real morals nor does he seem to have control over what he does, he just does it. He is a master of time as well and has extended his own life millennia using various methods but most involve stealing time from those he kills. He wasn't born nor was he created, he just is. He wasn't at one point but now he is. No one can really explain where he came from nor can they explain why he came. His reasons for following Samael are unknown by all, it just seems like something he does.

Noemi Alwilda Samael's Magi
Noemi is power hungry and she is a little needy. She wants to have absolute power over all beings in the world and she is in a rush to get it yet she needs someone to tell her what to do with all that power. She needs input from others to tell her what to do because she can rarely think of things herself. She is almost incapable of independent thought outside of everyday tasks yet she can command great amounts of power and yearns for more. She joined with Samael because he offers her the possibility of endless power and he will tell her what to do or has others who will tell her what to do with all her power.

Desdemona Armide Samael's Seducer
Desdemona is playful at worst and is well there isn't a word to describe accurately how she is. She is far from faithful to anyone but herself and is generally willing to sleep with anyone. She has a great memory, amazing charisma and stamina and has few if any feels toward others other than sexual pleasure. She is known to, at times, to show some real affection for others that isn't just sexual but they generally die very quickly. She is great for getting information out of others and since she is so quick to move on few think little of giving her information. To most she doesn't follow anyone and for most purposes she doesn't but if she does get some good information she will tell Samael as soon as she can be freed up unless she can get better information if she stays. It is said that she can make any man bend to her will and quite a few women as well. Sexuality doesn't matter to her and if she really wants the information it doesn't matter to the person she is after either, at least not for long.

Ancient Deity

The Deciet of the Sea

Ghislaine Paulina Captain
Ghislaine is greedy and has very little care for the well being of anyone but herself and her crew. She will do almost anything to get a quick buck for her and her crew but prefers to kill for it since it is often easier. She is willing to sell out almost anyone until she is paid, then she will finish her contract without fail no matter what problems may arise. She is one of the crueler people in the world but also happens to be one of the more focused once paid the right amount. She does care about everyone who is in her crew and is very touchy with all of them and will often get strange looks because of how she acts with them despite hoe they may feel towards her. She can call upon the dark energies of death to power her attacks and she can bring the recently dead back to live for a short while as a ghoul under her control.

Adeline Tecla First Mate
Adeline is disciplined at times but there are others where she will show no control over anything. She follows her Captain without fail and when they choose a side she will stay with it and she will do most jobs as well. She knows what her place in the fight is and will use her skills to her advantage but she won't try and stray outside of her skill set since she knows that there are others that can go what she cannot as well as what she can. She is very good at keeping her temper in check but when someone she cares about or loves is in danger it is very unlikely that she will have much control. She will try to defend them and kill all those that oppose them but she has to be absolutely sure that they are in danger. She can call upon the powers of death almost at will but will rarely do so, on purpose, unless she is in dire trouble. She would truthfully prefer not to have the gift but it is one she opening excepts and often needs, when she loses control though that is when the power gets it's full use. She will often extend her power enough to ripe the souls from the body but this is often straining and unused if it can be helped.

Guadalupe Amancio Master
Guadalupe is a bloodthirsty killer who sheds no tears for those he kills in the most painful of ways. He has no remorse that has ever been shown and is willing to kill the youngest of children to the oldest of elders without a second thought or a second glance. He will only listen Ghislaine and she seems to be the only one who can curve who her tries to attack from everyone. He will not attack those who she says they are allied with but will still plan for the eventuality that they will have to die and will observe their bad habits so he can use it against them when he does have to kill them. If he has any other power besides being without remorse and being incredibly strong then he doesn't seem to ever use it. He actually seems to be very oppose to getting outside help other than his own power and doesn't take kindly to other pirate groups getting in on their territory since he sees it as a weakness to have to accept help from them. He has yet to deem any of the other groups as strong enough to warrant his respect.

Marija Cécile Quartermaster
Marija is strange and very selective about who she will talk to. She can tell as soon as she meets someone if she will like them or not and almost to what degree she will like them and she will talk to them accordingly. If she senses that she won't like them then it is rare occasion for her to talk to them and if she will then she obviously talks to them. She will show obvious differences in how she talks to people depending on how much she will like them but few seem to question it since it is no stranger than being to tell how she will get along with someone without ever talking to them. She is a skilled fighter and is very selective in her moves. She will attack most anyone if told to, even if she senses that they were someone she would love, and will strike in moves to kill them. She will hand off kills to those who would be more skilled to do so. She will choose her partners in fighting carefully so they will at least be able to support her in battle and so they will be able to work will together.

The Vicious Whore of the Ocean

Helena Isabelle Captain
Helena is a strategist more than a pirate. She will look at all the things that can be done and all the ways it will help her and her crew out in the long run. She doesn't like getting into things without knowing exactly what is going on and will rarely take a job that will potentially cause her to lose one of her people. She is also a sexist and this is shown by her completely lack of men aboard her ship. She despises men and almost hates to be in their presence or to work with them for any extended period of time. She is oppose to those in her crew talking to men as well but knows that she would never be able to control that and she knows that there are occasions when a man is best for the job.

Flavia Diana First Mate
Flavia is a mass murderer and in some regards a whore. She has killed ten of thousands of people who for all regards are innocent. She often appears to not care about all the people she has killed or how people look at her because of all the people she has killed, often without reason. She does often see the faces of those she has killed in her dreams unless she finds a way to overtake her mind with other things. She is almost as sexist as her captain and will rarely venture towards men unless she has to. This is where she is partially a whore. She will often sleep with almost anyone on the ship who is willing to take her mind off all those she has killed. Emperatriz is the only one who knows why she is willing to be with almost anyone and the angel has, on more than one occasion, taken part. She doesn't try to come to terms with herself because she is certain that she is a monster and instead of drinking her problems away she is just rampant sexually.

Emperatriz Marcela Doctor
Emperatriz is one of the more open minded people on the ship and is likely the least violent. She doesn't seem to have many negative characteristics as is common of the ship she is on and most pirate ships. She cares greatly for everyone on the ship and will do everything in her power to protect them from harm but she doesn't really have any skills that can kill nor does she use a weapon. She doesn't care much about what sex she talks to but is more comfortable around women because she spends most hours of the day around them and often examining them closely. She is the healer of the ship and likely one of the few devoted healers amongst the pirates. Her relationship with Flavia is intense to say the least. She doesn't want the demon to sleep with as many people as she does. Emperatriz doesn't want the demon to be as active as she is but she knows there is little that she could do about that, she would prefer that Helena spend more time with her and no one else. At least it would be better than the alternative in her mind and she could help the demon through some of the problems with time.

The Damned Murderer of Hades

Gregorio Bastien Captain
Gregorio is greedy and doesn't have any regard for how others feel. He has some small respect for those in his crew but if they do anything to embarrass him or they happen to be drunk during and engagement then it is likely that he will kill them. He follows that the punishment should be chosen by the entire crew but often it will be his choice since he will suggest that it would be smarter to do it that way, for everyone's safety. There are occasions where he will refrain from killing people but it is usually only when they can be ransomed off for even more. He doesn't hold any regard for many other pirates and if they cross paths with him while he is a free agent he is likely to try and capture their ship unless he is sure that they will be able to defend themselves well. He was born and raised in Asilu and has grown very accustom to the culture of killing everyone who can pose a threat and have little to restrain himself.

Hernando Desya First Mate
Hernando is a monster who is feared by most pirates and could easily captain his own ship with the respect he receives from some. He is quick to suggest to torture captives with various method that would seem disgusting to most people of reasonable personality. He believes in harsh punishments for those who break the handful of agreements of the ship of how one should conduct themselves. He doesn't drink but he does take a variety of other forms of drugs that are all worse than alcohol but they don't worsen his state in combat and he can almost always think clearly when needed. He doesn't like sparing anyone life and will often kill those that other pirate will not without a second thought.

Joachim Ruaraidh Master
Joachim is a magus of respectable power and has a bit of an ego, and at times is considered to be an arrogant b*****d. He generally believes that he is better than everyone else and that he could easily kill them all if he just put his mind to it. The latter may be true. He has little faith in the strength of others and will often belittle others besides for the Captain and Quartermaster. He believes that he should have dominance over all the other pirates since he can control them a lot more than they would probably like. His is very avoidant of others and in private is very self conscious and critical. He has never been in an intimate relationship and won't open up to anyone as of yet. The closest person to him is Thérèse and all she can really do is touch him, instead of his usual reaction of pulling away or getting extremely mad.

Thérèse Tara Quartermaster
Thérèse is a little off the deep end but is very good at organizing things. She isn't considered crazy by most but no one will say that she is anywhere near normal nor will they pretend to say it. She is extremely fussy over very small details and will keep track over everything related to the money on board the ship. She is against all the norms of both the pirate society and the normal society and will often act differently around everyone depending on which one they are from. She will try her hardest to be the opposite of what people think she should be. She is a very skilled fighter but she doesn't seem like it from the way she often acts. She is very skilled with the two weapons that she often uses and she has little qualms about killing people and has a very large tally of those she has killed which she has marked down in one of her books.
