Serenes saw Liz out of the corner of her eye, though her scent hit her first before she actually saw her.
"Dusk... Luna... Please sit. We have much to dicuss." Serenes said, slowly walking back to the table. Luna followed hastily, seemingly overjoyed, but Dusk... Dusk was more hesitant to follow.
"... I'm not moving until you explain yourself." Dusk growled grimly. He knew she was there for a reason, but he didn't know what. He had no intention of following her ANYWHERE until he got an explanation.
"Pardon me?" Serenes replied coolly, she sea foam green eyes glittering.
"I want an explanation as to why you took so damn long to even find us." He growled back again, his tone more sharp, his eyes growing into a blood lusted crimson. Serenes didn't seem phased.
"Please, sit and I'll explain... everything." Serenes said, her voice becoming a plea, which was very unlike her. She knew already that she was on the wrong foot with her son, but she needed to at least try and do somthing to repair that, no matter how little it was.
Dusk growled, his eyes still darkening in the red, and went to the opposite side of the table, where he roughly sat, the silverware on the table clinking softly with his bodyweight hitting the floor.
Serene stook a deep breath, retaining hte tears in her eyes, and she looked calmly at both of them, then asked, "What do you want to know?"
"I, for one, want to know what the hell took you so long!" Dusk roared in anger.
Serenes looked to the side, not because his little outburst hurt her, but because she knew that she would have had to explain herself to this question.
"I...I was scared... I wasn't ready to have two pups, let alone take care of my position as a Beta.."
"Your a Beta?" Luna Asked, awed, but Serenes slowly shook her head.
"Was, Luna. Was." She corrected grimly, looking at Liz with an apologetic look.
"What do you mean?" She replied, a confused look overtaking her face.
Serenes looked to her daughter, who looked so much like her, and stroked her cheek.
"I broke a few rules the Lycan community is supposed to hold up." She said, with a touch of sadness and regret.
"Tch. Some parental figure you are." Dusk spat, his words striking Serenes at the very fabric of her existence. Serenes had a feeling that they might have been hostile, but Dusk was somthing else. His anger was deeply stemmed and she reached her hand over, and slapped him so quickly that he barely had time to react. Dusk looked stunned.
"Even though I haven't been around, I'm still your mother, and you'll treat me as so." She growled darkly, and Dusk stopped his little fit.
