His nerves were taking a hit from the suspense. But he had to admit...
It was better than the two of them tearing the whole place apart because of their theological differences.
"Necromancer," he responded, "This is your fight. If you start tearing the place apart, it will then become my fight.
"Besides. You handled that army fairly nicely. One lone man shouldn't pose you much of a problem."

[Zem Hearts]

Zem raised his right hand. "Nothing, I'm drained, that fight, took a lot out of me, not to mention recruiting all those soldiers, I hardly have enough strength to raise a single skeleton, wait let me try again" Zem raised his other hand, then lowered both of his arms. "Nothing, could you help me out, you owe me, my army took down the other army for you"

"You could have let us fight." Damian said, "We're more than capable. Of course you could have helped us. Conserved your energy by sending out a hundred or so at a time."
So much for superior tactics.
He drew his sword.
"Don't you have any spells or anything? A commander of an army of undead should be able to defend himself to some extent."

Nasi

Nasi sighed. "Yes unfortunantly he is charmed." She said looking at Uindo

"You know you love me" Uindo said laughing.

"I will burn you." She said with an evil look in her eyes. "And sure..ill walk with you" She smiled

[Zem Hearts]

Zem nodded his head. "Yes but, a bone wall or summoning a bone spear, that's the same as raising a skeleton, a poison mist would poison everyone around me and you guys, are my allies, it has no effect one me, and curses like, slowing down speed, blinding and weakening, those, I haven't mastered" Zem shrugged. "Besides I have someone I can finally relate to, it would be rude to keep her waiting" Zem walked thought the garden with Nasi. "So tell me, what kind of charms do you normally use"

Luca couldn't believe the necromancer's atrocious behavior, even for a sinful one such as he. "You will turn and face me! I am not done with you!" His voice echoed this time, but not like normal. It had a eerie sound to it, as if someone else was yelling the same words at the same time. "This is your fight, not theirs! I bring this challenge to you!" He totally ignored Damain drawing his sword. "Release the souls or the Light shall tear you apart!"

His back started glowing, as if he had wings made of light. I am but one man but by my oath to slay evil, your army will fall. This is your last chance! Face me or die! he beckoned. He knew that either way, if the necromancer fought he would no strength to resist.

Nasi

Nasi looked at him "Well I dont really have a regular charm." She said quietly. "My favorite type of magic is light and dark magic...of course I practice dark magic in secret." o She said. She said something under her breath making Uindo dissapear. "He is so annoying..." She said summoning her Shadow staff, Kumori.

"Hello Nasi" Said a voice coming from the staff.

"Hey Kumori" She said sitting on the floating staff. "Hey um....shouldnt you deal with him?" She said pointing at Luca.

[Zem Hearts]

Zem laughed. "Oh him, forget him" Zem opened his jacket, he had a lot of charms. "The white are shield charms, the blue amply, my magic as you can see I have a lot of shield charms, they create a Barrier around me if in harms way, so I should be safe I got a lot them, I also have a lot others if your willing to trade, um do you have any sage stones, I only have one"

[Techieninja]

"Necromancer!" he yelled, "If he starts tearing this place apart, I'll kill you personally!"
Seriously. These two were unbelievable.

Nasi

Nasi looked at Zem "My parents might have some, but i dont know." She looked over at the one who was yelling. "Well you certainly seem to be loved." She giggled. She began to play with her hair, looking back at Zem.

[Shikigama]

Luca took Zem's walking away as a refusal to fight. He began marching towards him, sword at the ready. As he approached, he recited an old scripture. "By the Builder's will, let my body be his weapon. Let his light fill my sword so it may become my weapon against evil. Let his righteousness be my guiding force so that my strike may have perfect aim. Let evil fall so that it may be recast in light."

He took aim and swung. An arc light came from his weapon blasting forward towards Zem, only to miss it's expected mark, crashing into the wall far behind him leaving a large crater in it. "The next one will not miss. I urge you to reconsider and let those souls be released.

Damian followed behind him and when he blasted a crater in the wall, he took aim at the Paladin's neck.
His swing was surprisingly quick and surprisingly strong.

[Shikigama]

Damian's strike was immpressively strong and quick. Luca barely had time to see it coming. He whirled 'round, his blade connecting with Damian's as he somewhat deflected the blow. His heels dug deep into ground and he was pushed back with the force. A large gash was made in his helmet, just inches above his neck. He regained balance and drew his sword back up. "You wish to fight me?" he asked, suprised.

"Considering you're blasting holes in my wall, yes." he said, raising his sword. His stance became familiar, and his mind focussed.
Whether or not his cause was holy, this Paladin was a danger to everything he had sworn to protect, and he would not let them down while he had breath.

Luca laughed at Damian. "At least I have someone's attention now." He lowered his sword, twirling it to stand on the ground as he placed a hand on the hilt leaning on it. "Perhaps if you would talk some sense into that harbinger of death," he said, pointing at Zem, "then I would not have to blast holes in your walls. It is because of necromancers like him, that..." He suddenly stopped midsentence. He looked to the skies as he spoke softly, "Father, why could I save you?" He lowered his gaze back to Damian "because of them, my father became to a tool for war and I will not see more souls strung out for endless decades as tools of destruction."
