lets go with the open field *his eyebrow raises in slight annoyment* and its Dante... not Dente.. *turns and heads toward the open plain*

*increses speed untill he becomes a band of color...the others dissapear* and with taht i shall take my leave *suddenly disapears in a flash of orange light...the smell of bananas is strong for some reason....*

*reaches the grassy plain and turns to face Latent his right hand on his left Kodachi (incase someone isn't familiar with what a Kodachi is think a slightly shorter Wakazashi)* ready when you are...

*smiles kindly* I thank you for your courtesy usually I would wait for the opponent to make the first move, but I know you wouldnt be so bold so I suppose I might as well * shifts his weight to his front leg and dashes forward at amazing speed his right shoulder forward as if tackle him to the ground, but as he draws very close he does a perfect Bane Hinu (spring draw , basicaly using the tension of the rwrist to put more power in a strike made in a fluid movement as its drawn from the sheath or saya) in a vicous upward slash intending to push latent back and off balance*

I am not so ignorant as to charge an unknown adversary, though I realise that I may have to watch you carefully...

*smiles as he slides to a stop faceing latent slowly drawing his second kodachi or wings as they are known in his style with his left hand. He holds both the blades there tips pointing down to earth and their blades pointed out, his left hand slightly forward of the other in boxing like pose obviously ready* you dont expect me to allways be on the offensive do you? wink

*hops back his Blades forming a defensive X where the tip of the pole arm was thrusting a faint "tinnggg" ringing throuigh the field* heh, advantage is merely an illusion... the body cannot go where the Mind has not yet been, even for an instant... *his blades silently slip from the defensive X pattern as his left kodachi knocks the polearm out of his way as he rushes in close making a Sagatte (reveresed hand) Cut with his right across latents Chest*

<b>*The end of his staff flips into the air and he uses the momentum to let it swing behing him. He adjusts his grip to the middle as the swining end comes down on the blade that is coming toward him, deflecting it toward the ground. He lets the pole arm finish a single spin and uses the momentum to shoot the end out toward Dante*
