「〈Tomorrow is just...〉」
Leaning against the railing of the boarded platform, James stared almost longingly out to the sea ahead of him. Of course, this was in back of the building he had spent most of his memorable life in. Both elbows placed on the railing, he leaned on them casually. The waves were beautiful-as always, or so he thought. During the beginning of the day, or the very end, he would constantly see couples laid separately on the beach, enjoying the romantic scene. Honestly, it was beautiful. But that hadn't stopped him from wishing he had his own special someone to share all of life's ups and downs. A somewhat distant gaze came over him as he stared at the coming waves. Then gaining a slight pout, James figured it was time to get back to the lobby. Today they were short of receptionists, and he needed to fill himself in. Stretching his arms out in front of him, he took a large, deep breath of the ocean air. After letting out a small groan, he turned on heel and began his way back to the front desk. Though at his arrival, he found himself to see a woman coming in the door with a bag. Another guest-lovely! He thought to himself as his hands pushed themselves to his chest to fiddle his fingers happily-almost out of habit. Noticing the fingers twiddling, he put his hands down and hid behind a large column that held the second floor up. The column was very wide, and tall, able to hide him. From the glimpse of the girl, she looked somewhat adventurous. How fun, He thought to himself, and watched steadily as the girl had rung the bell plenty more times then necessary. "Oh-I'm coming!" He called out kindly to the girl as he came out of hiding and somewhat jogged over to the desk. It was so familiar to him, and he could tell where everything was-just the way he liked it. Looking up to the girl from behind the desk, he gave a nice smile and tilted his head slightly. "How may I help you today, Miss?" He asked the girl, figuring she wanted a room, but not jumping to conclusions.
