Ayume smiled warmly at the man who had just introduced himself as Seth.
"My name's Ayume." she said sweetly, rocking back and forth on her feet. She must've wandered off into space for a minute or two, for now there were more people standing before her. A new boy by the name of Damien, if she had heard him correctly, and of course Seth. Slowly, she trailed through each of their names, seeing if she could remember them all. Ian, Lacie, Seth, Damien, and herself. She smiled, content with the fact that she had somehow managed to remember everyone's names. That made five of them; their own little group. Ayume watched intently as Seth cleaned out Lacie's wounds. She winced at the sight, but refused to turned away.
She quietly listened as the rest of the group spoke, which wasn't like her. This was probably the quietest she had been all day, just standing here. Ayume turned to face Damien and responded to his question.
"Well, I've been walking now for days. I wasn't really sure where I was headed. It's hard to tell where you're going when everything looks the same." She glanced over her shoulder at the broken world around her, letting out a minute sigh. She wasn't entirely sure if Damien intented on asking her, or if she was even a part of that conversation, which she probably wasn't, but she decided to answer him anyway. If she was going to be in a group with these people, the least she could do would be to conversate with them. Ayume continued to sway gently side to side, smiling. If there was one thing that anyone could remember about Ayume, it was the fact that almost nothing could break her good mood.
