Maya

Maya looked up at the mayor and smiled. "Good morning. Sleep late again, I take it?" she asked as she added a few finishing touches on her picture. It was a simple sketch of a sky with billowy clouds. She was too lazy to color it so she shaded the shadowed parts softly and looked at the finished result. "Well, I guess your going to be the only one who will be visiting today...it's no fun anymore. People used to love my art and now they don't have the space or time to pick it up..." she said with a small sigh.
Willow's Hands moved slowly and care fully as she fix the shirt. The needle went in and out of the cloth at a stead speed. She looked up to see if any one came in but no one did. She went back looking at what she was doing. Willow then realized that it was fix and refold it. She moved from her spot and place the shirt back into the spot. Slowly walking back to she turn to look at the window again. No one. She sat back down and combed her hair. Her book did not seam to be calling out to her. Willow put the comb and and crossed her arms on the counter and put her head in the hole.

"Ah Mister Mayor. Pleasure to see you." Sylvia smile and went over to the mayor, and shook his hand. "It's been a slow day, hasn't it?" She smiled, hoping that the mayor wouldn't see how bored she was.

Helen rolled her eyes. Fine, if he wanted to be that way, she would just stay. She sat down in an empty chair to the right of wear she was sitting. If he wanted to be stubborn, so could she. "Hello mr. mayor" She smiled warmly. She shot a knowing glance toward Rafe. Once that anesthetic wore off, he would be in alot of pain unless he rested. But he didn't know that, and she intended to keep it that way if he wanted to act like he knew better then she did when it came to medical things.

Sylvia returned to her work a few minutes later, and quickly returned to her store, where she removed the 'Out' sign and entered again. She sat down at the register, filling out some orders for a new product. She sighed, and took out a piece of stationary. The paper had light blue flowers lining the top and bottom, and in the bottom right hand corner, it read 'The "Everything" Shop" and in tiny blue cursive letters, it read 'By Sylvia.'. She began to write a note for the blacksmith, asking if he sold fireplace pokers. She folded up the note, and placed it in a white envelope, and addressed it to Rafe, the blacksmith she had visited a few hours ago. While she was there, she had remembered that she needed a new poker. She walked out of the store, and came into the blacksmith's shop. She simply placed it on a table, and strolled out.

Helen glared at Rafe's back. The shop was empty, other then the two of them. She refused to let him get the better of her. Her look softened as she came to the conclusion there was no use being hostile about it. She walked over behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey...um... Rafe... I was wondering...Could you um...Teach me how to do that?" She smiled nervously, her heart pounding. Really, she didn't have that much interest, but her obsession with learning new things over powered that, making her intrigued. She figured he would tell her to...well. To do inappropriate things to herself and send her back to her chair on the other side of the room.

Helen wrapped her small hand around his wrist. or at least, part of the way around his wrist. Her fingers didn't quite touch on either side. "Can I try? You can help me if I'm not strong enough. Please? I really wanna learn!" Her eyes filled with pleading as her obsession with learning filled her. She was close to jumping up and down from excitement. "Pllleeeaaassseeee???"

Sylvia sat down at her wooden chair and began to embroider lilts on a handkerchief. She figured she could make some to sell in the store, if she could make enough. She smiled, as she thought of all the flowers she had seen in her home, but her smile faded as she thought about how she missed it. She could never go back, and leave her shop behind, but she wanted to so badly. She continued with her work, but was so lost in thought, that she messed up on one of the vines connecting the lilies. She sighed, and put the white handkerchief with almost a row of lilies, and slumped in her seat a little. She walked over to one of the shelves with snowglobes arranged neatly in rows, and took one off the shelf. She shook it, and watched the little flakes fall down to the ground.

Helen fought to keep up with the information he was throwing at her. She understood from determination alone, as apposed to learning. "Oh....Ok...." She mumbled, trying to sound like she had learned it all that quickly. Watching him go back to his work, she stood behind him. Normally, she wouldn't have thought anything of it, but she felt her stomach twist in hunger. She took a step back, her face contorting in pain, and her hands on her stomach. "Why the hell is this happening NOW!!?? It's never done this before..." She let out a strangled cry, and her eyes closed in effort to keep from lunging at him. She continued moving backwards, each step taking every bit of her self control. She knocked into things, but only fell once. She got to the door an flung herself out of it, running full tilt towards the outer limits of the town.

Kada Smiled nervously as his towns people greeted him. His eyes dazled as he spotted the sword that Rafe had made."Good work there sir. Keep it up..." When he listened to Maya speak he sat back on a chair."Well, you know I always have room for more of your art in my home." He licked out his tongue" By the way I was wondering if you could make something...It woulds involve you and mister Rafe." He stood and walked around eyeing the paint work ."I want to place a sculpture in the pool below the water fall...Up the hill."He smiled"One of all the race raising togeather to hold the water. "

Rosa-Lee

Rosa Smiled as she left the money for the clock and a new collar for Rerun. She stumbled out onto the dusty road and marveled up at the clouding sky. She wondered if it was to rain that night, if so her room would leak. She sighed and swayed down the street. Her tail twitched as it was caught in a dusty wind"All we need now are tumble weeds, hey Rerun." She said with a giggle looking at the calmness of the town. She slowly made her way off the road and onto the side walk. She entered the clothing store called out"Hello.." She reached up and petted Rerun. as she walked over and admired a very beautiful dress. Her hand pressed on the light fabrics and laces. She tilted her head to read the price. She only had enough for it
