Yuri was an average high school boy until he tried to help out a guy he barely knows from bullies and got flushed down a toilet. He traveled across dimension inside the toilet and arrived at a strange, new land. He was found by Conrad and Günter. They told him that he is their King because of his black hair, eyes, and clothes. That he has the spirit of their Demon King and they have been waiting for his return. They need his power to help destroy all human enemies of their kingdom. After arriving at the castle, he slapped Wolfram for insulting his human mother. It turned out that was their way of proposing marriage among the nobles. After so many years of never had a girlfriend, he is now engaged to a guy! Yuri then agreed to become the new Demon King, so he can change their ways of solving problems in hope to prevent an all out war between the humans and the demons.
Yuri can also transform into his true Demon King form whenever he feels great anger. In this form, he can summon great magic even in human territories. He always passed out after his transformation and doesn't remember what happened afterward.

Conrad is the second son of the former Demon Queen. His father was a human. On his 16th birthday, he chose to live the rest of his live as a demon instead of a human. He fought bravely for the demon side, and is one of the most loyal in the kingdom. He was also the one who brought Yuri's soul to Earth and came back two years later to observe the birth of the new Demon King. He was the one who gave Yuri his name. After Yuri came back to the Demon Kingdom, he acts as Yuri's bodyguard and vowed to protect him with his life.
Yuri is the only one who called him "Conrad". Everyone else called him "Conrart".

He follows Yuri everywhere to keep an eye on him. He gets extremely jealous whenever Yuri talks to a girl or a good-looking man, and is constantly worrying about Yuri cheating on him.

Günter, along with the three brothers, helps Yuri run the country. He is like a teacher to Yuri. Teaching him about their kingdom's history and watches as Yuri do his paper work. Don't let his elegant looks and long, silvery white hair fool you. He's not a serious character at all, but rather a really silly one. He's constantly moping around the castle whenever Yuri is not around. Günter might not looks like it, but he is an excellent swordsman and has really powerful magic.

And he's deadly afraid of his childhood friend, Anissina because she always uses him in her crazy experiments.

He was preparing himself for the worst if Yuri was anything like their last King. Yuri was able to win him over when he entrusted Josak with Morgif's jewel, the source of its power.
Josak is one of Yuri's close personal guards. He's normally undercover and comes out to help when there's danger. Even though he's tall and muscular, he doesn't seem to mind running around in women dresses.

Her biggest regret was that she didn't make her own decisions while she was queen. She didn't want Yuri to make the same mistake she did.
