"You bet," Gaia mumbled, her eyes glued on the officer. Considering the fact he was standing right in front of her, watching her like a hunting lion, she didn't have any chance whatsoever to have a chance to get away.

But she ran anyways.

"Let's go!" she shouted over her shoulder to Dolly, and sprinted around the wreckage, heading over to her car. Gaia wasn't really much of a runner, but her common outbursts of energy proved enough for her.

"Hey!" the officer chased after her. "You're not going anywhere while I'm here!"

Ignoring those threats thrown at her, Gaia leaped into her car. Her heart was running more than she just had as she turned on the engine, and drove off around the intersection. She ended up on the grass as she headed closer to Dolly. Of course, she could only go so far, what with the small disaster in the center of the road.

Whatever. Who was she to just let something like this hold her back? Sprawling herself over the seat, Gaia struggled a bit as she opened the passenger door. "Let's go! The kid can sit in the middle."

"Yes, I've heard," Wiki responded, closing the door behind her. "I'm sure you already know this, but it's just Dolly's way of being concerned about you. Even if it annoys you," he added lightly. He silently pondered the second part the girl had said; about Dolly moving out. Where to? He wasn't sure, but didn't worry himself about it. It was Gaia who would drive everyone crazy with wondering.

Letting go of the thought, he took a seat at the kitchen table. "Well, then," he started calmly, "how have you been lately?" It was a pitiful start, probably in the opinion of most, but he was at a loss for anything else. It was sort of like a greeting he had silently settled on. He brushed a lock of his hair from his face, and waited for a reaction, or a response from Fme.

Dolly ran as fast as she could with the boy in her arms as she jumped into the car. "Go!" Sh yellled at the driver, as she set the little boy between her and Gaia, before pulling on her seat belt panting.

"Take a wild guess." Fme said rolling her eyes a little. Why did Wiki always start with that question when it was so obvious.

((Sorry, I'm brain dead))

"I know, I know!" Gaia replied hastily. An ocean of thoughts came crashing down on her, but she adopted the first one and put it to use; get the hell away from this place.

She pulled the car away, and had enough sense to put on her annoying seat belt as she sped away, the wheels screeching like some kind of angry animal. She turned her eyes to her rear-view mirror, and could plainly see the scowling officer just standing in the road. A shudder ran the length of Gaia's spine as she continued to head down the road.

"I hope you're well aware that we're breaking so many laws right now," she murmured to Dolly. "Firstly, we left the scene of a crime. We argued with a police officer, -- well, that was mostly me, but still -- and now we're pretty much kidnapping." She paused to look at the small child sitting between them. She wasn't sure if he would try to jump out of the car, or unexpectedly attack them, and silently hoped he would be too scared to just sit still for a few more minutes.

An idea formed in Gaia's tornado-of-a-mind, and she picked up her purse, handing it over to Dolly. "See if you can find my cell phone in there. I'll call my parents."

"I can imagine," Wiki stated. He clasped his thin hands together, staring at the girl from over the top of them. A various list of what her problems were came to mind; Dolly being one of the possibilities. He kept speaking anyways. "But since I wouldn't entirely know, why don't you tell me what's wrong. Everything has a source."

"I don't care." Dolly laughed. "That was awesome." She said, before she started to look through Gaia's purse until she found her phone. "Here."

"My annoying roommate and yours." Fme said sighing. "Always either begging me for money, being loud and annoying, stealing my things, and sending me here."

Gaia just shook her head, a bitter smile tugging at her lips. Unable to argue with her friend's optimism, she just took her cell phone. Flipping it open, she punched in her mother's number in, pressing the phone to her ear, and holding it there with her shoulder as she drove. A few moments passed until her mother answered.

"Um, hi Mom," Gaia started nervously. "Yeah, I'm fine... Dolly's here with me. We've got another friend, too. I don't really know his name. No, he wasn't a hitch-hiker! We just met him in town." She uncertainly glanced at the boy again, and swallowed a lump of mixed feelings in her throat before continuing, cutting her idle chatter to a serious point. "Listen, I'm kind of in a... bad situation. Well... It's hard to explain...."

Wiki listened silently, and gave a small nod to show he understood.

"You should know, I put up with the very same thing," he said placidly. "I haven't had much sleep in the past few days. I'm always up till midnight, chasing that wild ferret of Gaia's around the house" -- he moved his eyes around the room, as if certain Koko was hiding somewhere, and would unexpectedly leap at him -- "or it's just something else." He placed the tips of his fingers against the side of his head. "I've tried to speak with Gaia, but, of course, she doesn't ever listen. I assume Dolly is the same. Why don't you just move somewhere else? You won't be bothered... not as much, anyways."

Dolly listened to Gaia's end of the conversation as she pet the little boy's ears trying to calm him down.

"Why don't you move?" Fme asked, as she looked out the window. "I don't because I slightly seem to enjoy the scenery around here, much better then my old home."

((When will tako get on? We already god-modded by stealing her character. XD ))

( Sorry I haven't posted, I should be upset with myself; it's my own thread. XD)

Burgers sat in his seat without struggling. He'd never been in a car before, it was so interesting. The funny smelling seats, the scenery whizzing by, and the two strangers on either side of him.He didn't panic, as Petfinder had always wished someone would drive off with him. "So I moosht beh safe..." he thought aloud, smiling.

"Yes, you're safe." Dolly said, giggling at the way the little cat boy talked. "So do you have a name little boy?" She asked, her arms around him still, as she buckled him up finally.

Burgers struggled with the belt buckle as he spoke. "Wittle boy?Meh is plenty more smarts ten' you eber been, yush!"he snapped; his voice being slighly muffled, as he waschewing on the seat belt which restrained him."What is tish tingermajig, it vary tight..." he squirmed his way out of the seat belt, and now sat comfortably in a cross-legged position, he ears perked up slightly.
"You besht have food at yur house, meh is hungry."
