Bookworm walked back to her cell and waited. 20 minutes passed when her mom finally came. "Hello. Here to bail me out?" She asked pretending it wasn't her mom. "I guess.." she sighed.
"What kind of a freaking mother says I guess? What the frig is wrong with you." Her mom walked back towards the door. "Fine bail me out, then. It wasn't my fault. I saw people I knew and to get me up and hyped I had a couple of girly drinks smile " She smiled. Her eyes batted to put more innocence into this convorsation. " That will be 2,000$ mam'." THe officer said with no emotion. "ughh... your paying me back."

From there, Gaia resorted to tidying her room back up.... to a sloppy extent. She hastily straightened up her shelves, and then turned towards her bed, smoothing out the crumpled blankets.

She stared at the clothes that were still strewn across the floor for a moment or so. With a small shrug, she fell onto her knees, and started to sift through all the possible outfits she could pick. She eventually settled for a slightly-wrinkled, but comfy T-shirt, and snatched up her favorite skirt, which was adorned with thousands of colorful dots and stripes. Tossing her pajamas aside, she tugged the clothes on. Satisfied with the choice, she wandered over to the flower-shaped mirror beside the door.

It was the state of her hair that caused the previous smile she had donned to fade. She idly swiped her hands across her purple mop of hair, in furious attempt to smooth it out. She had no idea where her hairbrush was, and didn't bother to waste time searching for it.

After coping with several other vexing decisions, Gaia bounded down the flight of stairs outside her bedroom for a second time. Excitement bubbled inside her like water as she skipped through the kitchen, ready for whatever the day threw at her.

She came across Wiki. He was lounged across the cream-colored sofa ((another one of Gaia's many decorative choices for their apartment)), reading, like usual. Gaia didn't understand the title --it was in some weird language he was apparently studying-- and just stood in front of him. Several minutes passed away into silence as the two continued to just stay in place. Realizing that she was being ignored, Gaia impatiently started to rock back and forth on her heels, a slight frown set against her lips. Wiki's eyes eventually flicked up in her direction. Gaia pounced on this slim chance and seized it tightly.

"Hey, Wick!" she shrieked at him, despite the short distance dividing them. Flinching sharply, Wiki remained silent, and flipped another page in his book. "I'm gonna go to the mall!" Gaia continued. "Wanna come with me?"

The male said nothing, his gaze on the foreign symbols flowing across the pages he held.

"It'll be really fun!" Gaia coaxed. She pressed the tips of her fingers together, forming a series of arches. "Please, please, please! I'll be lonely if I go by myself!"

"Go with one of your friends," Wiki finally said. He honestly didn't care where the girl went, as long as it was away from him. Of course, if she ended up in the side of the road, he'd somehow be the one blamed, and mainly made the suggestion so that she wouldn't do anything dumber than she usually did.

"GREAT IDEA!" With that, the girl raced off. A rare, thin smile curled Wiki's lips as he heard the front door open, and then shut with a bang.

Gaia excitedly sprinted down the hallway of the building. Identical rows of doors flew by her, and the only sounds pulsing through her ears was the steady rhythm of her footsteps.

She skidded to halt, reaching a particular door. Energy racing through her, she pounded her fist on the door, the smooth wood cool under her touch.

"Dolly!" she yelled. "You up yet?" She giggled silently, concealing a thought. If the other girl wasn't already awake, she most likely would be by now.

((Managed to write something....))

Fme rose an eyebrow from the inside of the home she shared with her total oppiset Dolly. "Dolly. There is some one at the door requesting you." She said, her voice lacking many emotions, as she tossed her black hair over her eyes hiding small sad tears. Dolly rushed into the room a giant smile on her face, still in a bathrobe.
"Who!?" She asked, running over to the door opening it. "Gaia! Are you up for the mall!?" She asked laghing a little.

Gaia shifted from one foot to the other as she waited. Soon enough, she heard faint voices emanating from inside the apartment and took a half-step back. Within another few moments, the door had opened, and Dolly stood there.

"Duh!" Gaia responded. She jabbed an accusing finger at her friend. "When am I not ready? I've got all my money and stuff. We can take my car once you're ready." A wide smile alighted upon her face. Gaia's parents were, to say the least, rich. She had a luxurious fortune tagging her along everywhere, and didn't intend to let it be wasted.

((Made this one kinda confusing. Oopsie. I've got a dozen Vocaloids shrieking in my ears as I'm typing this. XD ))

"Alright! Wait on sec!" Dolly said excited as she ran to her room and got changed into a her usual pair of blue jeans, and light purple tank top. She ran back to Fme with wide eyes as she shook the emo. "Fme! I need money! Pwease!" She whined. As usual she would do this if she had to go outin town. It wasn't like she had a job, plus Fme bought nothing but cheap knives off the internet, so she had lots to spare.

Gaia's purple eyes glazed around the hallway as she, again, waited. Patience didn't always stick with her very easily. Her gaze paused on a vending machine some few feet away. Swiftly fishing a few stray coins sitting at the bottom of her skirt pockets, she skipped over to the machine. Slipping the change into the coin slot, she hesitated briefly, then punched one of the buttons on it. With a few clacks, a brightly-colored can of soda came crashing down.

As she struggled to lift the icy, metal tab on the can, various thoughts floated through her mind like abstract clouds. These apartments had become her home. She had friends, and all the money she could desire for the future years. Yet something was missing. It was like her life had been drawn out, and only now she had noticed that there was a strange rip in it. She furrowed her brow as she walked back to Dolly's apartment, drawing long sips from her soda can.

It was something important, she knew that much. It wasn't something like an every day object. The puzzled girl loosed an agitated sigh as she acknowledged her defeat.

Gaia paused, and put her ear to the door of Dolly's apartment. The girl was speaking to someone... most likely Fme, since it sounded like begging. Gaia shook her head.

"Dolly," she called, "if you really need money, I can just give you some. I've got more than enough."

"Really!?" Dolly asked running back to the door hugging her friend tightly. "THank you so much Gaia!" She exclaimed, happier then usual. "Oh yeah. Fme! Don't forget our deal!" She yelled into the apartment before she left the room, closing the door so only she and Gaia stood. A soft groan could be heard behind the door, obviously Fme. The deal. Of course. She went to Wiki for counseling, and Dolly would be out of the house more.

"You're welcome. Now, let's go!" As soon as the sentence was said, Gaia took off down the hallway, too eager to wait. More doors whizzed by, and she came to the front doors, tugging them open. The morning was bright with color and light, and her growing excitement painted it even more.

She kept running, all the way through the parking lot, and only stopped upon reaching her car; a purple convertible that almost seemed to be glowing in the sunlight. Unzipping her purse, she dug around in its messy contents: dollar bills; empty, crumpled wrappers to candy; hair ties; and finally, among a thousand other things, her car keys. She started to make a mental note to eventually get around to cleaning out her purse, or at least a little bit, but the thought was lost as another kicked it away.

"Hey, Dolly," she started. "What's the deal you made with Fme?" She glanced at the other girl as she unlocked her car and hopped in.

Dolly smiled and got inside the car laughing a little. "If Fme goes to Wiki for counseling I'll be out of the house more." She said cheerfully. "And if she gets better and stops cutting herself for a year I promised to move out." She told Gaia cheerfully.

Fme finally got her lazy a** up off her bed, as she walked into the living groaning again, as she dropped her bloody knife on the couch, blood dripping from her left arm. "Counseling." She hissed glaring at the wall where Gaia and Wiki lived. "Oh please. I'd rather go to the mall on a Saturday."

Burgers sprinted down the street on all fours, only looking straight ahead. "Ow ow owowow!!!"he hissed loudly, his tail still throbbing in pain. He quickly came across a sharp turn in the concrete sidewalk and ran into the road, which, in hindsight, was not the best of ideas.
One car screeched to a grinding halt trying not to hit the child, which then veered to the right, and crashed into a fire hydrant.
Screams and yells filled the air as water and oil leaked from the crash site, while Burgers had simply frozen in the middle of the sreet, terrified.

"Oh, really?" Throwing herself down on the soft seat, Gaia started up the car. "That probably explains why Wick's been acting kinda funny lately," she mused, backing out of the parking lot.

Indeed, Wiki's behavior had shifted slightly as of late. Now that she knew the influence of the whole situation, she understood that small puzzle... to some extent. Wick was definitely a strange person. It was hard to ever figure him out. Especially since he had his nose in the words of a book every waking minute of his life.

The apartment buildings slid out of sight as the purple car rolled down the street. Gaia flicked her eyes around when she safely could, taking in the scenery. Of course, it was mostly trees, but she didn't really care about that. Just the fact that she had free time to explore the city was good enough for her. And given the fact that she generally did have plenty of time, she was quite satisfied.

An alarming scene seized her sight as she came to an intersection. With an echoing screech, the car came to a halt. Gaia slightly lurched forward from the jolt, and idly plucked at her seat belt, grimacing. She didn't care what the law said about it saving lives ; it was painful to wear. She desperately worked at the seat belt until it unbuckled, and hopped out.

"What happened?" Such a traditional question. She examined what she could spot from afar, a frown tugging at her lips. Some small red thing in the center of the road caught her eyes, which instantly widened.

"Oh my God!" Her tone was that of surprise, but visible joy laced through the short sentence. Somehow ignoring the shouts that other people tossed at her, she sprinted down the road. Her eyes were glued on the small boy as she headed towards him without a second thought. She slid to a halt beside him, blurting out, "Are you alright?"

((Tako, I included Burgers in my post. : D ))

Dolly gasped out as she slammed against her seat belt, before unbuckling, and running out to the boy. "Are you okay?" She asked picking the poor boy up.

Fme sighed and went over to Gaia and Wiki's door, and knocked on the door. "Wiki. It's me." She said very upset with this.

((I is brain dead xp ))

(do the burger dance!)

Burgers had been shaken all over, he had never been a fan of loud noises, and the sounds of car alarms and screeching people echoed like it was some form of torture. His eyes the size of dinner plates, and his cat-like ears twitching like crazy, nothing escaped his moth but a small, frightened, meow. He'd hardly noticed people had approached, much less one picking him up and asking him simple questions.

Gaia cocked her head sideways as she gazed at the little boy. 'He's so cute!' she thought. Her hand twitched involuntarily, and she had an overwhelming urge to pet behind his ears. As she started to say something, she felt a hand land on her shoulder. Twirling on her heel, she found herself facing a police officer.

"Miss, I'm afraid I'll have to take that... animal, with me," he said, his eyes momentarily flickering in the direction of the small catlike boy in Dolly's arms.

"No!" Gaia shrieked, loudly enough to cause the officer to flinch sharply. "No, please," Gaia repeated desperately. "I'm sure he didn't mean any deliberate harm. He's too small to have done this on purpose." When it came to helping the cause of a poor animal -- or a hybrid, in this case -- she would have argued to the ends of the world, intent on resolving her opinion. It was probably the only time she actually had much intelligence used correctly, as Wiki had bluntly stated.

The officer sighed. {color=darkblue]"I'm sure he didn't," he said in a rather emotionless way, raking a hand through his auburn hair. Which, to Gaia, looked like a tight-fitting carpet on his head. "But the point is," the man continued gruffly, "he caused a severe accident. Since you don't seem to be a lawyer of any type, you'll just have to accept what I'm saying."

Gaia bit her lower lip, hard enough to draw small beads of blood through the skin.

"Well," she started, shooting a glance at Dolly and the little boy, "I may not be a lawyer, but what if I had another solution?"

Wiki lifted his head at the sound of someone knocking at the apartment door. "What do you--" he had started, until a voice from outside the door interrupted him in mid-sentence. He closed his fingers around the spine of the book he held, and climbed off the couch. "I'll be there in a minute."

Setting the book down on the polished coffee table, he crossed the room. Upon opening the door, he found himself looking at a very distressed Fme. Of course, that wasn't new; it was the very reason for her being here.

He ushered her inside. "Come on in." He didn't really expect much pf a reply from the girl, but said the words anyways. Unlike some people he knew -- mostly Gaia -- he actually had some common courtesy, and intended to hold true to that fact.

"Gaia. Run." Dolly whispered. "On the count of three, run to the car, let's get out of here." She said, as she slowly stood the little boy still in her arms, as she got ready to sprint back to Gaia's limo and ride away.

Fme sighed as she entered Wiki's home looking back at him. Feeling some what better without the annoying duo in the home, she smirked a little, something rare, that only happened when both Gaia and Dolly were gone. "I'm sorry about this. Dolly promised she'd move out if I 'got better'"
