"So when're we going to start the fighting?

User Image

Lucian was about to go ahead and give his usual response to Jaxx's little attack, but as soon as he saw Gemma entering the lycan shut his mouth. Sticking his head back in the fridge, Rook went ahead and began to dig about the messy fridge, trying to find at something good to drink. Maybe there was still that carton of OJ from yesterday...? As he continued to shuffle through the fridge, he made sure to keep one ear open so he could listen to the discussion. For the most part, he really didn't give a crap on what they had to say, though sometimes he ran across a rare gem. And sure enough, as he was busy trying to reach a soggy carton of orange juice that some idiot decided to put at the way back of the fridge, Sitika (of all people) said something that caught his ear.

"Ouch, dammit...!" Cracking his head on the top bit of the fridge in the process, Lucian managed to pull himself out. "You can count me in," He replied, rubbing the top of his head, "...maybe I'll even forgive you for the milk, if the fight's good enough,"

Yeah, yeah, he knew that Sitkas had said 'negotiation' but he knew that was a bunch of bull. That was one thing he liked about the guy, he didn't waste any time with that diplomatic crap.

Gabriel took the plate of food and tucked in. As always he had a large appetite, whether blood or food, but since food didn't do much for him, he basically ate so much to feel like he was filling up. it didn't work but he tried.

"Yeah I slept OK, Boss lady. I always do until someone intrudes upon our house."

His use of boss lady was clearly mocking/joking. He always used familiar terms with everyone, calling them baby or honey, but with her he felt bad disrespecting the head of the house. And so he came up with his own term of endearment. Right about then Victoria walked in. Even without looking up from his food Gabriel knew it was her and spoke in a bored voice, as though he'd expected such from her, and he had.

"Where've you been Victoria. You should try sleeping occasionally."

He looked up at her with a disappointed expression...but of course as always his eyes flickered over her and then back to his food. The trust was he was more disappointed that he hadn't been invited along. Delos may have been overprotective about their leader, but Gabriel was over protective of all of their women.

"Anything special on today Leader Lady?"

" There's no point in forever if you don't have anyone to enjoy it with "

Alissia shrugged, ignoring the nickname Gabriel used for her. She didn't really have anything special planned. "It seems like you guys are all thirsty, we could go hunting..." she glanced at the large stack of pancakes on Gabriel's plate and added, "unless you guys are content with human food for the time being." She smirked, knowing that they wanted to go hunting. Was Allissia the only one not thirsty? Pushing her brown hair out of her face for the third time, she acknowledged the slight burning feeling in the back of her throat. Maybe she was thirsty. Just a little. She has been trying to cut down on hunting, once she had blood she'd want to kill every human and animal in sight. Well, not really animals, they're blood was a little gross.

Allissia stood up and stretched. "I'll be back in a second. I want to go change into something else, I don't want to get hit with rain, my skin is cold enough as it is," she smiled, and in a second disappeared. She loved the speed, it was fun. One moment later, she was changed into some light blue-gray sweatpants and a white tee-shirt. Her hair was braided in two pigtails on each side of her neck. She was even more comfortable now, and was walking back to the kitchen. As she entered, she said I told you I would be back in a second."

it's over I didn't want to see it come to this
I wonder if I will ever see your face again

It stung him to hear her lash out at him, though he showed no external signs of being pained. His cold eyes followed her out the door, then dropped to the floor as he let out a quick sigh. Maybe she was right, maybe he was just an overgrown fool. She certainly seemed to think so. Nevertheless, it had to be done. If he let these vampires settle in, many more would follow. And there was no guarantee the others would be passive. Besides, if he were to be killed, he was sure he wouldn't be terribly missed.

“At least we’re on the same page..” The wolf let his stare drift over toward Lucien. He chuckled, crossing his arms over his broad chest and letting his hips rest against the counter… “For once” A small snicker stained the statement. “We’ll be leaving soon…. “ By now he’d redirected his attention to the window. “To bad it’s not sunny. It’d give us an advantage” The devious smirk returned. “Not that we’ll need it… Of course..”

And I know that I will find a way to shed my skin
It's simple I know that I will suffer in the end

~*~ Delos Draven *~*
Let take the fall, let me take the blame. Let me carry you from hell to home again.

Once Victoria arrived back at the house Delos got up and took his empty plate to the sink contemplating on weather or not he too was thirsty for blood. He ignored the slight conversation between Gabriel and Allissia. Running a bit of water over the plate he gently rinsed it before setting it aside to dry. Yes, a hunt would be just fine and besides, he always kept some sort of weapon on his person at all times. Besides, they were all together, it was much safer to hunt in numbers.

Delos didn't dare follow her to change, he held her privacy at the utmost respect unless she instructed otherwise. She was ready and changed in a second anyway. The weather was pleasant as always. Always rain and more so since it was fall. Perhaps they'd get snow again, snow was always calming. Yes it was going to be a bit chilly but that also meant their pray would be taking cover. Quickly heading up the stairs he grabbed his specially made double edged sword strapping it on in the process and came back down to join them again.

"...you got that right," Lucien grunted, slamming the fridge shut. "Going to get dressed, give me a holler when your ready," And with that, he left the kitchen. Strolling down the hallway, Lucien couldn't help but wear a huge grin on his face. 'Bout time they finally got some action, he'd been spending the last week just laying in bed with nothing to do. He really needed the exercise...

Arriving at his room a few seconds later, Lucien went ahead and threw open the door, glancing about. To say that his room looked like a pig sty would be an insult to the pigs. Not an inch of the floor could be seen; magazines, clothes, CD cases, you could hardly even move without stepping onto one of the three. His bed was tucked away in the right corner of the room, the sheets missing. He never was a big fan of it, the thing always sounded like a dying cow whenever he tried rolling about. It was the cause of many restless nights. Right next to that was his nightstand, a small little lamp sitting the middle. Normally, there'd be an alarm clock sitting right in front of that, though due to some...err...issues with shutting the damn thing off, it was now laying on top of an old Queen album on the opposite end of the room.

Not even bothering to pick it up, Lucien headed on over to the closet, right by the door. Throwing the thing open, he reached out and grabbed a hold of the only piece of clothing hanging in there...a tan jacket. It had certainly seen its fair share of troubles; bits and pieces were torn, and the color was fading. Still, it was holding up pretty well especially seeing what Lucien took it through. Tossing it onto the bed, he began to get dressed...
The sky could be blue, could be gray,
Without you, I'd just
slip away...

"You're getting so grown up," said the Mother. She turned over a few strands of Aurora's hair, then hugged her again. In all seriousness, she was proud of this girl for lasting as long as she did around not just Sitka, but the entire pack. It had to be a little overwhelming to deal with such an abnormal issue, and that did reflect when Aurora had run away in the past. Still, just the fact that she was alive was fantastic. Needless to say, Gemma was now filled with the warm fuzzies. She knew when it was time to back off, though. She began pulling away.

...The sky could be blue, I don't mind.
Without you, it's a waste of time.

Victoria watched as everyone did simple little things that demonstrated their personalities. Delos cleaning and being meticulous and Allissia going to change because she always wants to be prepared. Her eyes fell on Gabriel. He looked a little disappointed. "Don't worry. I have bounds of energy!" She smiled to show her enthusiasm.

When Allissia came back out Victoria clapped her hands. "Oh you look so cute!" She cooed. She took her plate and picked at it. Yeah, human food is doing nothing for me right now. She pushed the plate away from her. "So I suppose we are going hunting." Her eyes gleamed with a sort of excitement that wasn't new to her. She enjoyed the hunt.

She picked her up her plate and walked over towards Gabriel. "You can have mine if you want." She said sincerely placing her plate in front of him. Then she leaned and whispered. "Bet I can beat you in a hunting game." She smiled crookedly.

Gabriel laughed as Victoria pushed her plate over to him and he indulged her by wolfing down her food as well. Then he slowly stood from the table, still shirtless and rippling, and smiled at her as she whispered.

"You're dreaming."

He said with a quiet smile, a shiver of excitement about going hunting ran through him, giving her a show up close. Then he winked at her and stepped past, coming close behind Delos. He placed a large strong hand on the darker Vampire's shoulder and squeezed slightly.

"Don't worry, I'm here. Between us there's nothing that can harm her."

He expected no answer, and so walked away even as he finished speaking. He walked over to the stairs, then with a single bunch and fire of his legs he flew up the flight in one bound. When he emerged just a couple of minutes later he was wearing the same black leather pants, with a matching black silk shirt, only buttoned halfway up. He also wore a pair of beaten old army boots, and visually carried no weapons. The shirt strained around his biceps, and around his neck he wore a thick chain, like one used to chain a gate closed, in a collar style fashion.

"So what is the target of the day?"

Victoria was very much distracted by Gabriel during that short conversation. The way his muscles shook and rippled. It was a crime to look that good and be immortal. He was damned to a life of utter sexiness. What a punishment. She smirked. He did present a challenge which she so enjoyed.

"I'm dreaming." She said sarcastically when he reappeared looking almost as good as he did with his shirt off. Should have left the shirt off. She thought and giggled. "You're dreaming if you think you could even pose a challenge for me." Victoria knew that she wasn't as seasoned with age as the others and though they had its disadvantages she was still strong and, among them, very young.

She bit her lip playfully impatient. She was ready. She wanted to go now.

☆Jaxxon Marie - Jaxx

She can captivate to hit the ice,
But she never lets you in.

Jaxxon sat quietly when Lucian didn't respond, she looked over and saw Gemma. Rolling her eyes she gave 'Mom' a soft wave. Then, words fell out of Sitka's mouth, made her perk up, opening her mouth to say she was in, Lucian seemed to beat her to it. Slowly, she closed her mouth and sat in silence, watching the scenes before her take part. Not that her joining along wasn't also an option, she knew the three of them together, would only be trouble. Slinking behind didn't sound like a bad idea either in case things got bad.

Sliding off the counter, her feet touched down on the floor before she spun around and looked at the others. "I'm gonna go, catch something for breakfast. Shopping isn't my thing, the hunt is more exciting anyways." She informed them, though they most likely wouldn't care much. Turning towards the door her hand flew up in a half hearted wave. Heading out back, she took off into the tree line, keeping close to the house to know then Sitka and Lucian left. Her eyes wandering and alert, she caught the sight of a large rabbit and was quickly on it, and ate it just as fast, not a single drop of blood on her outfit somehow. She always had a clean kill.

In the dark she lingers,
Like a tear without a soul.

Aurora smiled and hugged her back. Gemma had always been the one she could come to whenever she needed it. Now though, more than ever, she wanted to tell her how she felt, but could she? Would it be a good idea at all? Maybe another day would be better. She slowly let go as Gemma pulled back and she gave her a warm smile "Thanks mom. You always seem to know how to make me feel better."

~Richard Silversun~

Does the fear I instill into your very being overwhelm all your senses and leave you frozen?

The tranquility bestowed upon him by the forest overwhelmed him with a sense of calm and peace of mind. All thoughts pushed aside for a moment of peace. While enjoying the silence granted to him by the surrounding nature, he casually leaned against the rough bark as his liquid brown opticals observe his surroundings warily. It would be another mistake worth scolding if he completely relaxed while there may be a potential risk, an eventual risk which may lead to danger. Yes. Another mistake that’ll be further down his whole list of moments dealing with stupidity, and growls slightly as he let a stray thought wander in. For example, stumbling into an opposing pack’s territory, a mistake constantly plaguing him as he slowly paid off his life debt so what other mistakes may he commit? An accident leading to the entire pack’s demise including his own? Unlikely, he’d rather have his hide intact if a situation like that ever occurs.

Whilst reminiscing, a gentle rustle brought his attention away from self-scolding himself and on full alert. The muscles tighten in response, mainly in his arms and legs. He slowly crept over to the bush and extends his foot as it collides with something solid. The creature hidden was startled and fled from its hideout, revealing a furry rabbit. A scowl most prominent on his features as his gaze follows the silly, cute, and cuddly creature. He believed it to be a monstrosity. A little disgruntled, wandering from one location to another. His feet carrying onwards toward the pack’s house and pauses before the door. His hand a hair’s width from grasping the knob as another thought surfaced. Wow. He was just full of thoughts today. How long ago did he wander into the forest and spend a little time in the comforting silence? With a small sigh, he avoids walking through the door and being confronted by the pack members that weren’t his own. Rather, he finds himself a comfortable spot not far but with enough distance from the doorway and leans against the wall. His brows furrowing in thought once more, settling for a small frown instead of the scowl he wore earlier. Now about the life debt and paying it off quicker...

it's over I didn't want to see it come to this

Having been left alone in the kitchen, Sitka let out a long, slow sigh, his pale eyes locked on the window. A bit of worry shot through his chest. But it quickly settled as he remembered Gemma following after her. Seattle was already a dangerous place, the presence of vampires amplified that fact ten fold. In all truth, Aurora was a big part of the reason he couldn't allow them to stay.

A few limber strides let him out of the room, then to the base of the stairs. After reaching his room he picked up plain white tee shirt and slipped it over his head, then pulled a long sleeved green flannel over his shoulders, though he didn’t bother with the buttons. Running his fingers through his hair, mumbled something about 'stupid shoes', then disappeared into the hall.

It only took a minute for him to slip out the front door and into their overgrown yard. The rain quickly dampened his wild black hair. He quickly took a place beside a large maple tree and crossed his arms. Whoever wanted to come would show up there eventually, an if they for some reason decided not to, he would simply go alone. It wouldn't be the first time.

Aurora was about to get up and take Gemma with her shopping, but she noticed something move out of the corner of her eye. She quickly looked, her senses heightened after living with the wolves for so long. Her heart gave a hard thud as she realized who it was. She got up quickly and almost ran off if it wasn't for the fact Gemma was still with her. Aurora looked at her mother "I'll get you when we're ready to go." And with that, she ran off towards a maple tree and under it was Sitka, of course. When she got close, she slowed down walking up to him "Don't tell me you plan to go alone." Her hair was soaked from the rain, but she didn't really even notice.
