☆Jaxxon Marie - Jaxx

She can captivate to hit the ice,
But she never lets you in.

Once her bright, fire engine red hair was brushes flat and dried. the smell of cooked eggs wafted through the crack in her door, causing her senses to perk. "Who in the hell is cooking. Lord knows we don't have much food in this house with all of us, yet someone found eggs." Her soft feminine voice filled her room. For being considered such a b***h, it was off her voice rang to a sweet, innocent tone, and yet, deep down she seemed to be ice cold. Out of mostly curiosity, Jaxxon slunk down the stairs picking up on an argument about sour milk. Slipping into the kitchen, she leaned against the counter before pushing down on it, lifting her petite body on top of it. "For Christ sake, can we go one morning without starting s**t and being pissy about something so stupid. It's sour milk, honestly Lucian, go catch an animal to eat, sour milk is disgusting anyways. Cry yourself a river, build yourself a bridge, and get the hell over yourself." Jaxxon growled. Not only was the morning making her cranky, the smell of food was getting to her and she was hungry, neither benefited anyone. Her eyes fell on Lucian, and a piercing silver gaze.

In the dark she lingers,
Like a tear without a soul.

»////Aurora × Silversun////«

Fair Butterfly flying gracefully through the wind, what is it you're searching for?

Aurora almost dropped her fork. Did he say he was sorry? She shook her head mentally, holding his jacket around her as she looked around. Of course, everyone seemed to be up and around and surprisingly she was up before they were "Good morning everyone. Hey mom, I'm going shopping today, would you like to come with me?" While Gemma wasn't really her mother, she liked to think she was. She was always kind to her and had always been there to help her, but like any child, she wasn't fully open with her all the time even though she seemed to guess really well.

Turning at the sound of Aurora's voice, Gemma smiled at the term 'mom'. In the beginning, when the girl had first started calling her that, she had thought it a bit odd, but had taken it astride. Now she answered to it rather easily, and was rather happy to do so. Setting down her glass of water, she nodded and responded in a bouncing, friendly tone.

"Absolutely, sweetie," she said. "We can head out whenever you like." As she spoke, Gemma leaned backward against the counter. She was not far away from Jaxxon, who seemed to be as bold as ever. Though the red-haired woman often seemed rather difficult to be around for others, Gemma did respect her strength - both emotional and physical. For some, it took a lot of courage to speak their minds as freely as Jaxx did every day. Her tones were often harsh, and sometimes she wished that the loud woman would calm down a little, but for the most part, Gemma saw her as lacking in the area of underhandedness - in a good way, of course.

Naturally, Gemma was a bit worried that their Rebel, Lucian, would have something harsh to say to Jaxx in rebuttal. Then again, thinking about it from a different perspective, at least they were communicating to each other. That was something. Even if something erupted from this, she knew that they would not kill each other. They were a pack - they would not do that. After thinking this through for a moment, Gemma looked back to their princess, who looked confused, but in a good mood. Noting that she was sitting at the same table with Sitka, 'Mom' even grinned a little. They were getting along this morning. Usually, these kinds of happenings took some sort of special occasion.

Allissia smiled slightly at Gabriel's comment. She looked at him as he sat down, and said "I guess your right, but why go hunting so early in the morning?" Allisia smirked as she walked over to the table, set a bottle of maple syrup next to the plate of pancakes and seated herself down next to Gabriel. Again, she pulled her wavy hair out of her face. She needed to cut it or something, it was always getting in the way. Pulling a plate of of the stack of four, Allissia pushed it in front of Gabriel and set a fork on top of the ceramic plate. "Eat, we can go hunt something better later. Maybe find some O Negative later," she said, a small smile coming to her pink lips.

"Good morning Delos," Alissia said, glancing at the long haired man that had just entered the kitchen. She nodded her head toward the pancakes, and handed him a plate and fork. The girl leaned back in her chair and yawned, twisting her hair in her hands. She wasn't hungry, and instead of eating she wondered where Victoria was. Usually, you could hear her talking, sometimes even in her sleep. Allissia giggled to herself as she thought of Victoria. The girl shrugged, she would come back soon enough.

"Did you two sleep well?" she asked the two males, she glanced over at Delos, he seemed to be watching her. She was used to it though, he was very over protective. Ugh...Though, she knew it was just because he wanted to make sure she wasn't going to go off into 'dangerous' situations.

it's over I didn't want to see it come to this
I wonder if I will ever see your face again

Sitka watched the packs interaction with a blank expression. His hollow eyes drifted from Jaxx, then to Lucien, then stopped on Gemma. Despite their quarreling, it was soothing to have them all in the same room. Rather lazily, the alpha gulped down what was left of the peas and took his dishes to the sink. After carefully rinsing both the bowl and plate he placed each in the dishwasher and returned his attention to other occupants of the room.

“I’m going pay the blood suckers a visit today” His lips curled back, revealing a set of pearly white teeth. “It's supposed to be diplomatic….” A characteristically wicked laugh ripped from his throat. “Though I doubt it’ll stay that way..” Sitka had never been one for negotiation. In past, he had been known to simply charge in and over power enemies with the sheer power of the pack. However, such tactics often resulted and the loss of many lycan lives. Now, he at least attempted to talk out the problem first. "Any body else wanna come?"

And I know that I will find a way to shed my skin
It's simple I know that I will suffer in the end

~*~ Delos Draven *~*
Let take the fall, let me take the blame. Let me carry you from hell to home again.

Delos couldn't really blame Gabriel for wanting blood instead of pancakes but it would just have to do for now. He tore his gaze away from Allissia for a moment, she would be fine. He needed to tune it down in situations like this. He was trying but it was still kind of hard. Their Leader would be just fine within the walls, it wasn't as if any of the clan would harm her. He just had to keep reminding himself of that.

"Good morning" he responded quietly. His gaze instead landed on the pancakes she had offered for a moment. Taking one for himself and ignoring any syrup he began to take careful bites. His thoughts were rather jumbled this morning, perhaps he should take some time and clear his head after breakfast? He glanced back at Allissia when she asked both him and Gabriel a question, had he slept well? Not really but it wasn't any ones fault, he and sleep hadn't agreed in many hundred years. Even when he was in places like Japan he didn't sleep, there was always something or another going on.

He had a feeling she might figure that out. He tended to stay out of most conversations even sometimes when it was directed at him. It wasn't because he was trying to be rude, it was simply because the constant chatter gave him a headache. Instead he concentrated on his half eaten food for the moment, not wanting to waste it.

You and I
~x~Victoria Draven~x~

Victoria got up from the ground and ran. She stayed close to the long shadows cast by the tall pines and evergreens. She jumped and sprang leaping as numerous amounts of bounds as she could manage. The sun tried it's hardest to catch her. She saw the house and smiled. Yeah, she had cut it close but she made it. Hope, Gabriel isn't too mad.

Victoria ran, jumped and burst through the front doors. She smiled. "Made it." She looked down. Her clothes were a tad dirty. "But I guess the clothes didn't." She laughed and began to walk towards the kitchen.

"Hey everyone." She waved and smiled. She knew they would be there. That's where everyone usually convened when they woke up. As much as she tried she couldn't keep her eyes off Gabriel. He was probably the best looking vampire she had ever seen.....well she hadn't seen many vampires, but still she was certain he was the best. "Is anyone else thirsty?" She said feeling the slight burn in her throat.

Allissia's gray blue eyes looked at Delos for a moment as he ate. He really didn't talk much, but Allissia knew pretty much was was going on in his head. When Delos didn't respond, she assumed that he was thinking about how he hadn't slept well in ages. Which was expected, he was always on guard for some reason. Of course now, he had a bigger reason to be. Stupid Lycans... Allissia though, slightly angered just by thinking their name. She hadn't slept well either, which was very odd because she usually slept until she was bursting with energy, though she used that energy to plot and hunt, not to go around all hyper, like some people she knew. Her eyes went to Victoria who had just entered, looking a little dirty, her clothes slightly wrinkled. What had she been doing this morning?

"God morning Victoria, have some breakfast," Allissia said, indicating the plate. When Victoria asked if anyone was thirsty, Allissia simply shrugged. She wasn't really thirsty, she had gotten used to the burning feeling in her throat, it was almost always there. Allissia was feeling a bit cautious and at the same time, lazy. A smiled came to her lips as she noticed Victoria ogling at Gabriel. She was used to seeing this by now, but it was amazing how Victoria could simply gawk at a man like that.

Fair Butterfly flying gracefully through the wind, what is it you're searching for?

"Awesome! I'll go get ready after breakfast. Aurora smiled at Gemma and turned to look at Sitka. As always, he wanted to go out and do something stupid. Why couldn't he just leave the blood suckers well enough alone; they weren't in their lands or bothering them. Aurora slammed her hands on the table, his jacket falling off her shoulders as her hair fell over her eyes "I can't believe you sometimes Sitka! They aren't even bothering us right now and you just have to go and screw it all over don't you." She pushed her chair in hard, grabbed his jacket, and stormed off, opening the door and slamming it behind her as she put his jacket on and headed out into the rainy day to let off some steam.

"Aurora..." Gemma took a step after the girl when she left the room. Then she sighed and glanced back at Sitka. Observing his features, she noted the look on his face and wrinkled her brow in worry. It was not difficult for her to understand Sitka's point of view. He was a strong wolf, and highly territorial. On top of that, vampires were no good for their environment. Something about their presence made most lycans angry. Still, she wished he would at least come up with a plan, or could ensure that no one on their side would get hurt. Putting the rest of his pack in danger was unwise. At least he's telling us... Yes, Sitka had shed a bad habit for seeking out trouble without telling anyone, it seemed.

"Sitka," she said, hesitating to put a hand on his arm. "Please... at least be careful." With that, she hurried after their human charge.

It would not hard to figure out where Aurora was going, thought Gemma. She did not really have a lot of places to go this far from the city. After getting outside with quick steps, Gemma paused to look around. The feel of the rain was wonderful. She would have stopped to enjoy it if she were not so worried. Taking a few steps away from the house, she looked around slowly. She spotted Aurora not terribly far away. With a gentle sigh out of relief, the lycan girl walked in her 'daughter's' direction.

"Aurora," she said again, hoping she was heard.

He was so reckless sometimes! He would never truly understand how much she cared about his safety. Aurora was about to climb up a tree when she heard the familiar voice that always calmed her down. She turned around to see Gemma and sighed. She sat on the ground leaning up against the tree "Hi mom." She said it in a soft tone, but she knew Gemma could hear it.

"Hi, hun," responded Gemma in an equally quiet voice. She reached the tree in a short moment, where she knelt down next to Aurora. Wearing a smile that was gentle and sympathetic, she spoke to her in a calm voice.

"...Sitka doesn't mean any harm, you know that... right?" As was quite usual, she worried that what she was saying was not right. Maybe she should have been a bit more sympathetic to Aurora's feelings. Sure, he was justified for his plans as being the leader, but the girl needed less lycan code and more human sympathy. That meant she needed to try hard. She had to remind herself not to get worried too much. Thinking too much about something usually led to trouble.

"And even if something does happen, he's very strong. He'll come back."

"I know...but..." Aurora shook her head and sighed. She was almost positive Gemma had some kind of idea about how she felt about Sitka, but she had to try to make sure she doesn't suspect "He's endangering us all. What if something were to happen to him and he wasn't able to protect us? Some leader to put his whole family in harms way." She crossed her arms and looked up to the sky, wishing she wasn't stuck in the whole mess.

Gemma rose her eyebrows as one as she watched Aurora. By the end, she was smiling, charmed by how much the girl seemed to be worrying. Sitting down next to her, the lycan woman wrapped her arms around the human and held her close.

"Rory, honey," she said. "You shouldn't feel the need to worry about things like that. Even if Sitka is the strongest of us all, we're not defenseless without him..." Tapering off for a moment, she pulled away and thought for a moment. It was becoming somewhat apparent that Aurora was less worried about her own safety and more about someone else. Ah, Sitka. Do you know she cares? She looked to Aurora again, then chuckled.

Aurora sighed and relaxed against Gemma. She was the closest thing to a mother she had and because of this she held a special place in her heart. She listened to her words carefully then sighed "I know..." Aurora wasn't sure how to respond; what was she supposed to say? I know you guys can defend yourself, but I'm worried about losing the one I love? Ya, okay. At Gemma's chuckle, Aurora looked at her, a curious look in her eyes "What?"
