The word “eggs” seemed to catch his ears the most. Rather suddenly, the lycan seemed to perk up. His eyes jerked back to meet hers. His expression didn't change, though it was apparent her suggestion pleased him. Then, he slouched, a rather suspicious look tainted the blank one he’d had before. It wasn’t often she even spoke to him lately, let alone cooked him food. It was strange, but he wasn’t going to look gift eggs in the mouth. “Sounds good” The corners of his lips tugged upward. It was more of a smirk, than a smile. But then again, he didn’t bother trying for anyone other than Aurora. “As long as you don’t poison em or something.’” he teased.

Fair Butterfly flying gracefully through the wind, what is it you're searching for?

Aurora rolled her eyes, the smile still playing on her lips as she pulled the eggs out and pulled out a frying pan. She went over to the stove top and turned on the heat, putting some butter in the bottom of the pan and set it down on the burner. She put as many eggs she could into the pan she had; Sitka had always been a big eater. She watched them carefully, her thoughts still swirling in her head "Remind me to go shopping today." Aurora said before looking at him over her shoulder out of the corner of her eye "By the way, don't get used to this; I just feel like being nice for once." That was the normal lie she gave him whenever she wanted to be nice to him. It was rare she was ever nice to him, but that was for reasons he would probably never know about.

“Okay”
Seemed to be the only response he could muster. It never ceased to stun him. When she was little, she adored him. But, somehow he’d gone from being her prince charming to the evil wizard. “I won’t” He reassured. Then again, he understood her discontent with him. After all, she deserved to know where she came from. He shrugged it off and turned his attention back towards the kitchen.

One slow push got him from the chair to his feet. He was taller, and generally bigger than most human males, part of being born a lycan, he guessed. His bare feet glided across the linoleum floor, then stopped in front of the battered cupboards. After a brief investigation, he discovered a can of peas, and nearly emptied box of Oreos. He’d make sure and leave those for Aurora. The peas however were free game. After emptying the can into a reasonably sized bowl, he pulled out a spoon and set the cold vegetable on the table. “Pease and Eggs..” He let out a rather stale laugh. “Nutritious.”

A warm smile made its way onto her lips, but it soon disappeared when the eggs finished. She rushed around the kitchen, grabbing two plates. She put two eggs on hers and the rest on his. She then gracefully spun, resting the plate by his bowl of peas and the other plate in her spot. Aurora smiled and sat down, still holding her blanket close to her, but a little shiver made her body shiver "How can you not be cold! It's freezing in here!" She looked up at him and she would have given him a look, but it was stopped by how he caught her off guard. She slapped herself mentally then grabbed her fork and started to dig in to her eggs.

The wolf took a seat across the table from the Female. He sat staring at her for a few moments, then picked up his fork and down about half of his own eggs. Then suddenly, he looked up again, "I dunno" He scratched his head, referring to her comment about being cold. "Hold on" He rose quickly from the table, then disappeared into the next room. A few seconds passed, then he returned, bearing his fleece lined flannel jacket. After arriving back at the table, he laid the coat over her slender shoulders, then took his place at the other side of the table, attention now returned to his food.

Sitka had never encountered such a creature as her. Out of all his wretched years, the ones spent with her had by far been the most bearable. Her scorn pained him, more than he would ever let on. But, it didn't matter. He'd gladly giver her his heart on a platter if that was what she wanted. By now, the wolf had frozen, his normally dead eyes locked on the human. "I'm sorry, Aurora" he murmured softly, having felt her demeanor suddenly change. He never offered apologies to anyone else. Those words were reserved for her.

" There's no point in forever if you don't have anyone to enjoy it with "

The soft morning sun light shone in Allissia Blackwood's pale face. She mumbled something sleepily, and rolled over. She must have rolled over too far because not even a second later, there was a soft thud. Alissia had landed on the carpet of the floor, almost landing on someone. Alissia sighed, and stood up. She blew her messy and tangled brown hair out of her face. Her gray blue eyes scanned the room. There were several figures spread about the room, they were members of her clan, her family.

Alissia smiled at them all fondly as they slept. Stepping over one of them, she made her way to the kitchen. She opened the white refrigerator and sighed, there really was nothing inside. What could she make everyone for breakfast? Aha! Pulling out a carton of milk, some butter and eggs, she smiled. Allissia set these on the table, and went to go hunt down some flour and salt, along with some baking powder. Finally, she found some. She knew they would probably all like this.

Within twenty minutes, Allissia had pancakes sizzling on the pan. She had already finished cooking the majority of them, and had enough batter left for maybe two of them. Allissia had batter on her nose, and the side if her cheek. Good thing it wasn't on her shorts or shirt, she didn't want to change out of them, they were so comfortable, no matter how cold it was. The weather didn't affect her anyway, her skin was always cold, it was simply how it was.

Turning the stove heat off, Allissia set the last two pancakes on the plate that was already full of them. She yawned, and went to the cupboard to hunt down some maple syrup or honey, she knew they had both, or one or the other. Oh, where was it?

[[ Hope that was okay... ]]

GABRIEL DRAVEN

Gabriel woke just as the leader vanished from the room. He did not get up instantly, but looked around for a few moments, taking in the room, enjoying the company of the female vampires he could smell in the room. Then he slowly rose.

He emerged in the kitchen wearing only a pair of black leather pants. His feet slapped a little on the ground, his intensely muscular upper body rippling as he walked. He walked in behind Allissia, greeting her happily.

"Good 'morning' Allissia. Why do you persist on cooking us this gourmet food, knowing it won't taste great for us compared to a glass of O negative?"

He laughed and shook his head, dropping into a chair, curious and interested. Allissia was a beautiful and charismatic leader, but for some reason she had never appealed to Gabriel...maybe it was because i had to protect her, the whole professional care thing.

« Gemma Silversun »

Gemma still lay in bed, though she was awake to some extent. She looked very peaceful. There was a soft smile playing on her pink lips and her dark hair gently fell about her head, untouched by her own hands. It's a nice morning, she thought. Outside, it was raining, and the smell flooded straight through the girl's bedroom window, wafting through the air and filling the room with the glorious scent of falling water.

Throughout her entire body, the young-looking woman could feel her pulse. Sort of like a morning ritual, she would allow the pumping of her heart to make itself known while she rested in bed. The feeling of a calm and steady pulse was nice, though the experience had a bittersweet tinge to it. Her heart was not as strong as others, and sometimes she had a hard time doing things because of it. Slowly, she rolled onto her arms, which crossed in front of her. Within seconds, she could feel the blood pumping through them, seemingly pushing at her finger tips. This was a grim reminder, if one thought about it long enough. Some day, she might not be able to enjoy this sensation.

A soft sigh interrupted this thought flow. She knew better than to worry about some day. She might wear herself out before she had even gotten out of bed! With a faint giggle at how silly she was being, she rolled over again and sat up. Tipping back her head, she took in a deep snort of the smell of rain and... eggs? How unexpected! Smile on her face, the small young woman threw off her bed covers and got out of bed, eager to scope out breakfast.

~x~Victoria Draven~x~

"Here we go." Victoria murmured. She took a deep breath. The wind whirled around her head blowing her hair in many different directions. She stood atop one of the tallest trees she could find. The mere face that she was able to climb up the tree as fast as she did was absolutely amazing. In all her 77 years of being a vampire she was still amazed by the way she was able to do the things she could do.

She looked over the vast amount of trees astounded by its beauty. How could she have been missing this? She shook her head and laughed. The sound rang of the air and bounced of the rocks close by. Such precise hearing. She beamed.

Victoria took another deep breath almost tasting the pine in the tree on which she stood. She held one foot in the air ready to take a step into nothing but air. The other foot followed. She held out her arms and she fell quickly to the ground. One branch after another passed her face quickly. She left her eyes open. There was no real rush of adrenaline. That was much too human to feel now. it was just the pure excitement of her power that made her do "crazy" things like this. She knew she would be in no harm.

Victoria knew the ground was approaching. She quickly postioned herself to capture the fall in the ball of her feet. When the ground reached her she was ready. Her feet landed nice and safe on the plush ground. She smiled.
"Nailed it." She laughed once again a bit overwhelmed by how powerful she was really was. But now she had to hurry home the sun was trying to catch her.

((lol where are the vamps?? whoop whoop))

[EDIT]

((there in the house. lol))

< Lucian Rook Silversun >

"So when're we going to start the fighting?

The two would find their peaceful breakfast interrupted however, as the loud thumping of footsteps could be heard from out in the hallway. Without even giving the two a proper 'hello', Lucian strolled into the kitchen. His dark brown hair was a disheveled mess, it looked like he hadn't even bothered brushing it before heading downstairs. He had on a pair of black pants, and a pair of gray sweats, both as pretty wrinkly. It was like he had fished them out from underneath his bed.

Scratching his head, still not even sparing the other two a glance, the man reached out and yanked open the fridge. Letting the door slam into the counter, he bent over, looking about for something or other. "Hey," He muttered, pushing aside a jar of peanut butter, "...who the hell drank the rest of the milk?

Dammit all, just what he needed. First that alarm clock wouldn't shut the hell up, and now someone...

He glanced towards Sitka...

...had ended up drinking all the milk.

“Morning.. Lucien”
Sitka smirked as the wolf rummaged through the ravaged refrigerator. “It was sour anyway” He knew what it was he was looking for. He watched him come down every morning and take a swig of it, straight from the carton. It pleased him to know he’d already achieved his daily goal in pissing Rook off. However, no emotion revealed itself in his expression. It never did. As far as most knew, any feelings (aside from the nasty ones) he had died a long time ago.

~*~ Delos Draven *~*
I am your ultimate shield. So sit back and shut up.

Delos awoke suddenly he knew the leader was no longer in the room. In fact, he was the last one up, now how did that happen? Usually he was up when the Leader was, he knew that she probably found it annoying but one could never be too careful. Getting dressed quickly he was out the door.

He silently went down the stairs, not a single one creaked under his weight. He never let go of his old habits not even in the morning. The smell of pancakes wafted through the kitchen slowly trying to make its way through out the house. He let out a silent sigh, well at least she was doing something relatively safe. Perhaps it will finally be a day when she wasn't getting into trouble or hurting herself, maybe.

Pushing his long hair away from his face he entered into the kitchen where Allissia had just finished cooking a lot of pancakes while searching for something or another and Gabriel sat in a chair simply watching her. He didn't dare make his presence known they'd either figure out that it was him or spot him soon enough. He didn't care for pancakes or sweet things in general but it was food and he didn't feel up for hunting anything. Besides she had been kind enough to cook enough food for all of them. Speaking of which, they were currently missing Victoria.

Taking a seat a few chairs down for Gabriel so the half dressed vampire could have his space; he sat there silently watching Allissia carefully. The day could still be a good one, she looked as beautiful as always and the mood was calm for now. He might actually be able to not worry about her or things for once. Hopefully.

Entering the kitchen not long after Lucian, Gemma smiled softly. Three of her pack mates were already awake. Aurora and Sitka were eating at the table, and the explanation for the egg smell was on their plates. It looked like she had missed out on that breakfast. Then again, it was hardly like she could have eaten eggs anyway. They sort of messed with her condition.

Before thinking about it too much, she smiled to Lucian, who looked to be brooding. When he was in the same room as Sitka, that was normal. Undeterred, she moved across the room to look for a glass. Her pale legs stretched as she rose to the tips of her toes to reach inside a cupboard. The big sleeves of her shirt fell to her elbows when she finally got what she wanted. Only afterward did she check the fridge for anything that she might be able to drink. Like the others before her, she found herself somewhat disappointed. Then again, there was always water, was there not?

Gemma glanced at the sink, which was just under a window. There were her two choices, she supposed. So, water that had moved underground, or water that fell from the sky? Although the second one sounded way more awesome and totally unconventional, she decided against the possibility of bugs in her morning drink. Still, after filling her glass at the sink, she stood and stared out the window, enjoying the rain.
