Echo was outside of the hospital on his lunch break. He had his white coat draped over his arm as he leaned against the wall outside and took in the fresh air. He loved his job; he really did. It was just sometimes he had so much work to do that he didn't know where to start. Then he got stressed and then he starts having trouble breathing, which leads him to taking a lunch break and just standing outside, trying to calm down. He hoped that the nurses were doing all right without him. Man he needed a smoke, but he had forced himself to quite smoking about three months ago. Working at a hospital and smoking cigarettes just seemed like a bit of an oxymoron to him.
Sighing softly, he looked around the city street that he was on and smiled slightly. "Well, at least it's relatively peaceful out here," he said to himself. Pulling a candy bar out of his pocket, Echo began to munch on the chocolate, trying to distract himself from his own stress. A few minutes later, he finished eating the candy bar and glanced back at the hospital's doors. "I guess I better head back inside before everyone starts freaking out," he murmured, slinging his white coat back on and walking inside with his hands in his pockets. He made a beeline towards his office and walked inside, closing the door behind him.
Echo took a seat in a chair and covered his eyes with his hand. "Gah, so much to do, so little time," he grumbled. He was really not in the mood to deal with all of this right now. But, I suppose that's what happens when you decide to be a doctor. Moving his hand away from his eyes, he looked around his office. There was nothing personalized about it; no photos on the walls or on his desk, no paintings, nothing that would even remotely relate back to him.
((Hey guys! I'm new to the rp! Is there anything important I should know about things that are already happening? If not, that's even better for me! =) ))
