WHYSOSERIOUS?
Joker had only gotten a few hours of sleep and even so had made sure to get up quietly so not to wake his psycho lover who had still laid in the bed curled close to him. After he had put on dry and clean clothes he had left the house and had been gone since four thirty that morning to do his ‘research’. He remembered walking down the hall just to find Miffy staring at a blood stained wall…that child was very odd indeed but who was he to judge on that matter. Aside from his activity earlier that morning…he now stood in a dark ally way standing in front of some panicked man who could scream due to the fact he was to petrified to try.
”Subject number…..4,134,000.” He said in a low tone as he slowly took off one of his gloves. Making sure the man stayed still Jake took his hand and pressed it firmly over the petrified male’s heart. The acid from his hand slowly spread burning the male’s shirt…it was burning to slow for Jake’s observation so he pushed down harder the burning increasing until short but sharp screams came from Jake’s test subject. Jake shook his head in a tisk tisk mocking way as the male’s eyes went wide and lifeless indicating that the male was now dead. Jake had burned a whole straight through the man’s chest and had soon after melted the man’s heart. ”Hmm…” He muffled to himself pulling his hand out of the bloody whole he had made.
”The more pressure I add…the faster and the stronger the burn radius.” He said to himself jotting that note down into a black notepad he had pulled out of his coat and now held with the blood covered hand. ’Homework again J…really? Why spend your time on this crap?’ Joker asked in a bored yet high pitched tone. ”To better my killing tactics….I hate to do the same things over and over again…I need to better know my capabilities.” Jake explained as he knelt down to the dead fallen man just to examine the hole again. ”This one is wider then the other one.” He said as he glanced over at the fallen body behind him that had been some women who’s head had a hole in it from the same experimental test as the one who had just fallen moments ago.
