He smiled slightly "My father is a book collector, when I was little I used to read them. Now I tend to get excited around books." he said looking around. He realized he never introduced himself. He bowed his head a bit "My name is Alastair VanStar"

Name-Damien Blake
Age-18
Position- Musician / Knight
Description-Damien grew up in a poor family so he thought of ways to make money to help out as much as he could he started shining shoes and doing chores at other people's houses until he had enough money for a violin and since then he has been playing for money and the income is very good when he turned 17 he went to a battle school to the east and came back with a sword and the knowledge on how to use it...

She tilted her head lightly. She took a moment to mark her book and closed it lightly in her lap. "Rala Elizat. But I'm sure you already know that." She stood up and put the book away.

Damien woke up in his house and looked around for his violin he found it and eventually went downstairs to do his usual things ... he walked out to the grand courtyard beside the castle and put the violin under his chin and over his shoulder and began to play a melody that could make motzart look like a fool...

He smiled at her "yeah I did." he chuckled a bit "what book were you reading?" he asked still looking around

"Poetry." She said simply. "A compilation of many bards from the kingdom, made especially for the princess."

He looked at the book that was on the shelf. "How many times have you read this?" he asked pulling it out and reading some

She glanced at him, raising an eyebrow slightly. "Several times." She walked to the window and looked out. The faintest of smiles touched her lips as she heard the familiar violin.

Damien was so into his music that he hadn't even noticed the princess at her window but he abrubtly stopped playing when two gaurds of the town came up and started dragging him away for playing right in the middle of a public square and annoying everyone when really it was only the gaurds he was annoying...

He continued to read. After a tiny bit he put the book back "someone really knows how to play the violin" he said smiling. He heard the violin stop "I wonder what happened"

Rala nodded. She watched the guards and shook her head. "Mary." She said softly. The maid stood up and brushed off her shirts, obviously knowing what Rala meant, and left the room. She turned to Alastair. "So what brings you here, Alastair?"

"I am a suitor so its not that hard for the part. But this wasnt my choice, it was my parents." he said frowning a bit. "But I would be honored just to get to know you."

"And why is that?" She asked, watching him. Everything she was was emotionless.

Mary came out to the guards and ordered them to release Damien, by order of the princess. The guards knew Mary was Rala's mouthpiece and with a frown let the violinist go.

"I bet you have enough suitors asking you to marry them, and you seem like a nice person. For now I would just like to know and be friends" he said smiling nicely at her
