Kenji was a bit surprised by how much stuff this house had, he was kind of a wanderer so he didn't get to stay in the same place. When he noticed that she wasn't surprised much by it, a smirk grew upon his lips as he pulled her close and spoke quietly.

"Destiny, you want to go walk around the island a bit?"

"My father is more of a sports car freak," Kara said to Geoff as she was walking to the driver's side. "He collected sport cars in a way that made him seem like he had nothing else to do with his money." She opened the car door, and sat in the seat. She moved the shifting gear out of park and to reverse. She pulled out of the garage and shifted the gear into drive. Turning and going down the street. She kept her eyes on the road as she spoke. "So where should we go next?" Kara asked Geoff. "Or are we just wondering aimlessly until we see a good place?"

"My did tends towards the armored vehicle stuff. I swear to god he owns an actual M-4 Sherman from WWII as well as a Hellcat and several other armored vehicles and all of them are fully functional." He shook his head and laughed. "At first Mom thought he was nuts and then decided it was better than his collecting mistressses."

He pointed down the road. "Go the first corner and make a left and then straight on till morning..." He knew he was mangling the saying from Peter Pan but didn't really care. "Beats me. I have never been here before."

Kara made some random turns down random streets but she made sure to know the way back by looking at the street names. She would also look at upcoming signs and advertisements on the tall boards. "Well, what kind of place would you like to go to?" Kara asked him. "An arcade? Or some club?" She was just throwing ideas out there. They just ate so she didn't think he would be hungry again. It's the reason why she didn't bring up restaurants.

"If you would like to go to a club that is fine though I must warn you that I am a terrible dancer." That was a slight joke about his leg. "I figure this is probably supposed to be one of those 'touristy' type places and there are probably some shops that we can wander around as well and if the weather clears up eventually there is probably somewhere you can rent a boat or a jetski." He had to admit the island was beautiful and if he had been in a better mood he would have been happy to find a well tended trail and wander on that but right now he didn't feel up to it.

Kara laughed a little. "No, that's okay," she said. "We don't have to actually go to a club." She turned onto the high way, picking up to the speed limit. "Jet skiing and going boat riding isn't the best thing to do during stormy weather," Kara said to him. She then grinned. "Although.. It sounds pretty fun. The large waves make surfing tempting as well." She continued looking for ideas. A sigh escaped her. She couldn't see any thing that really jumped at her. Not a lot of the places seemed to striking.

He heard the sigh and figured she was having a bit of trouble deciding on what to do and he was as well. Nothing was stiking out as a great deal of fun or something that they could do together that didn't require anything beyond a slow limp. For a brief moment his anger rose and he mentally cursed his parents for doing this. If they hadn't pushed him into this he wouldn't have wrecked his motorcycle and then his knee wouldn't be so screwed up.

"I don't know what to do. I will cheerfully walk with you and look at the tourist traps if you would like, find a cafe or such near the water and have a cup of coffee or what ever. Hell if I could get on a horse I would go ridding with you but think I would have to try that in my other form."

It was a bit aggravating to Kara that she could find any good places or ones that didn't seem so lame. She finally gave in. "I guess we can go to a cafe'," she said. She pulled off the high way and onto the feeder. She made a right turn and the beach was in view. Down the street was a cafe'. She had noticed that this cafe was there because of advertisements spread across the town. Plus, it had a noticeable sign. She pulled up into the parking lot of the cafe. The building seemed more classic. The building's walls were made of wood and stones. It was of course, only one story and the entrance were french doors with six rectangular windows on both. Three rows, two columns. Kara looked at Geoff. "How does this place look?"

It looked like it would do and there was some of the tourist shops he had denigrated earlier. After some coffee maybe they could wander around and find something to interest them. Half the problem was he still didn't know her and what she liked or wanted.

He waited for her to pull in and climbed out and then waited for her on the sidewalk and held an arm out for her to take if she wanted. Might as well be a gentleman about everything.

Destiny crossed her arms and thought about it. It would be nice to meet everyone and explore, but they had just gotten there and she still had a bunch to do. But then something came to mind. She didn't give herself time to think thoroughly about it either. She turned to him and wrapped her arms around his neck with a mischevious smile.

"What was that thing you wanted to do earlier?"

When Destiny did this, Kenji couldn't really help but feel himself blush deeply at what this young witch was doing and he stared deeply into her eyes as he felt himself fall for what may have seemed to been a trap, but at this point in time, he didn't care if it was anymore. All he knew in his mind was that she was the one meant to be with him, and he hoped that she thought the same thing of him, but then he started wondering what would have happened if his parents had made his brother come here instead of him and it scared him a little.

"Me and you, alone" he was able to whisper quietly as he felt his arms snake their way around her waist gently.

Destiny chuckled and got on her tip toes. She rested her chin on his shoulder and spoke softly in his ear.

"Dear, we are already alone. You have to be more specific than that."

Destiny pulled away from him and smirked as she backed up from him. Destiny had got to be an expert on flirting, and she knew that too.
She finally turned around and casually made her way towards the stairs.
