Jaylen groaned as she felt like she was going to throw up, a bit sea sick from the boat as she looked over at he smiling father. ''Oh god..'' She shook her head and threw up again, wiping her mouth with a piece of tissue and washing her mouth out with Listerine and ate a mint. ''Dad..It doesn't take a boat to get to the city..'' She mumbled as she looked at her feet, trying to not look at the ocean, her father telling her that the city was far and only could get there by a boat, though she knew a plane was better. ''Dad..I'm not afraid to kill you..'' Having a stern voice as she pointed to him, he just laughed and said she would thank him later.

Jaylen knew what that meant. He was hooking her up with somebody. ''Dad..TAKE ME HOME NOW!'' she stomped her foot, her father just shaking his head. ''Argh!'' Jaylen then stopped her pouting as they made a stop. ''This is an island..'' She pointed out and sighed. ''Have you lost it old man!'' Jumping off the boat and onto the island. ''I'm going to die out here...'' Her dad explaining everything to her as she had a dropped jaw, him throwing her suitcases to her. ''Noo!'' Her dad turned the boat around and smirked as he left. ''Dad!!'' Jaylen was left there holding her bags as she frowned and walked off, bags in her hand, reading the piece of paper. ''house 7..'' Muttering as she found her house and stopped.

Kara's plane had finally landed at the airport. She was one of the first to get up. Standing up showed the true length of the dress she was wearing and how long her hair was. The dress only reached the knees but her hair was a little bit past her waist. She took her bag out of the seat and grabbed the book she was reading previously. She got off the plane, walking down the long hall way that lead from the plane's door, to the gate entrance. When she got there, the floor became tile. She walked out, looking around. There were crowds of people. Signs were everywhere. Each having a name or pointing in some direction with a label. She took a few steps forward. Since she was wearing high heels, her foot steps made a light clicking noise. She searched for a sign that lead to the luggage bay or at least a person who held a sign with her name. She doubted she'd find that though.

Raiza and Rina

" So is 'he' pick you up Rina or are you meeting him there? " Raiza asked. " I dont know......I think im going to meet him there...." Rina replied in her quiet tone. Raiza sighed. She didn't really know what she was going to do either. " Well, do you want to wait for awhile or want me to call a cab? " She asked. Rina thought for a moment. " Well.....i think we should wait for a while....just to make sure...." She answer. The two held hands as they went down to claim their luggage and find their ride.

The limo eventually pulled up to a house that was near the beach and appeared to be rather isolated though there were several more houses nearby. As he climbed out of the limo he looked around and the first reaction was that this was a rather isolated location for a reason and he couldn't help but wonder if this was intentional. The house was a rather nice sized two story building and even had a garage but since the door was closed he had no idea if it had a car of any sort in it.

"Please take my luggage in and set it in the master bedroom." He carefully manuvered his leg out the door of the limo and stood up with the help of the cane and limped up to the door and took a key his parents had given him out and opened the door. Walking in it looked to be a well appointed place with very nice furniture. The living area was of an open design and on the far side of the living area was a sliding glass door with a deck on the other side.

The driver carried his luggage upstairs and came back down quickly and nodded before leaving. "Well I can't help but wonder who this 'wife' is supposed to be and what she is like." He muttered to himself as he limped to the kitchen and pulled a bottle of water out of the fridge and popped the top off and took a drink.

Kara came across two gentleman holding a sign with her name. She tilted her head slightly, arching an eyebrow. She wasn't expecting that but then, she kind of was. She walked over to them. They already knew it was her. They said nothing to her. The one that wasn't holding the sign, gestured her to follow. They brought her to the luggage bay. The read light over the machine that had a rotating platform which brought out the luggage, started lighting up. After about five minutes of waiting, her luggage came around and was retrieved by the two men. The rolled her luggage to a limo that was parked outside in the parking lot. Her luggage was loading in the trunk. One of the gentleman got in the driver's seat. The other, opened the door for her. She got inside the limo, sitting down in a nice posture. The gentleman got inside after her and closed the door. The limo started pulling out of the parking lot. During the drive, Kara gazed out the window. She wondered about several things. Mostly about who this "future husband" guy was.

It was a while before the limo pulled up in front of a two story house. The gentleman who sat beside her, opened the door. He got out and held the door for Kara. When she was out, the door was closed by the man. Kara looked at the house. It seemed rather isolated from the other house. The driver got out and both him and the other gentleman helped with the luggage. Kara started walking for the door. She wrapped her hand around the door knob, slowly turning it. She gently pushed the door open, peeking her head inside. "Hello?" she said, in a not-so-loud voice.

He was a bit startled when someone called 'hello' out. At least she had an nice voice. Could he hope that she was at least moderately attractive? Better yet was a nice person. He could deal with the possiblity that she was less than eye candy as long as she was nice not that he could complain if she was both nice and good looking but he wasn't going to hold his breath. "Damn them for mettling." He murmured under his breath.

Well he might as well get this over with and see just who he was being married to. He turned and limped towards the sound of the voice. "Hello." He came around the corner from the kitchen to the living room and stopped when he saw not just the girl of his supposed dreams but several men with luggage. "Afternoon." He said to her. "The bedroom is upstairs and if you could put the suitcases up there please." He hoped she wouldn't get upset by his taking the perogative to have them do something but he really didn't want to deal with interlopers right now.

'Pleased to meet you. Names Geoff." He stood there leaning on his cane and nodded in her direction. She was not bad looking which was something. How she would see him with the bad leg he wasn't sure but hopefully they would get along even somewhat and get this mess over with.

A sweet smile came across her lips when she saw him. She noticed some thing about his leg. It was injured but she didn't think much of it and she wasn't going to say any thing about it for the moment. She fully opened the door, standing up straight. She took a few steps inside. The two gentleman that held her luggage nodded to Geoff and took the luggage upstairs to the bedroom. When they left, Kara closed the door. Kara watched them leave for a few seconds before bringing her attention back to Geoff. Her smile became more kind. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Geoff," she said in a gentle manner. "My name is Kara." Her eyes wondered over to a clock hanging on the wall. "Am I a little late?" she asked, before returned her gaze back to him.

"Define late." He couldn't help but grin a bit. "In this case I am not really sure what late would mean. Late to meet your intended that you had no choice in? Late to your parents current level of insantity?" His voice was a bit on the bitter side and he waved his hand in apology. "Sorry. I am feeling a bit put out with my parents right this second and you don't really deserve to have my current irritation with my parents overflowing onto you." He said. "Shall we wait till the mean leave?" He nodded in the direction of the upstairs.

"If you would like there are some flavored waters in the fridge as well as soda and juice and such if you would like. I just got here myself and haven't the urge to go upstairs as of yet." He gave her a brief smile as he was talking. "I would ask what brings you here but that would be rather stupid of me wouldn't it?"

Kara made a small laugh. "My my, so many questions," she commented to him with a smile. Her eyes looked up towards the stairs. Her smile became smaller but was still there. It was only for another short moment, that she kept her eyes away. "Late for the intended time I was suppose to be here," she answered to him. "And we can wait for them to leave I suppose." She returned her attention back to him. "Also, I'm fine for now. I'm not that hungry or thirsty."

Kara started walking towards the couch. She set her bag carefully down in the recliner. She wasn't intending to leave it there though. "I wouldn't say it would be stupid to ask. There could be different reasons why I'm here. It could simply be force, or I chose to come here. My answer would be forced. I some times ask myself why I would follow my parents orders all the time. Half the time, I intend to rebel against the things they force me to do," she said. She shook her head slightly. "That would be wrong though. To disobey them." Her gray eyes looked into his eyes. "Don't get me wrong though. It's not like I don't like you or any thing."

"Well not knowing the time you were expected here I would have to say that you are probably on time." He picked up his bottle and limped over to a comfortable looking chair across from her and carefully sat down and adjusted his leg so that it wouldn't hurt to much.

"That is very polite of you then. I don't know about you but the only reason I followed them was because the guards were larger than I am and in better shape." He couldn't help but laugh. What the hell would he have done? Limped really fast? He had to snort at that thought. He could just see the guards dying of laughter as he tried to escape with his bad leg.

"Oh good. If you had instantly liked lovable little me I might have been just a bit suspicous. Probably would have started looking for needles and the good meds as well to see what my oh so loving parents had stuck me with..." He really couldn't help but laugh.

Kara couldn't help but to laugh as well. "Well, that's good to hear. I don't want to be late for our first meeting." She picked her bag back up and sat down on the recliner, putting her bag in her lap. "Well, my parents didn't send any guards after me but my father threatened to break my violin and lock me in my room," she said. She kept a gently posture, sitting up straight. "My parents didn't tell me who were you so I couldn't of possibly loved you then and I'm not the person to instantly fall in love." As she spoke, her eyes were on him. In the corner of her eye, she could see the decorations of the room. Well, only a few. There were different kinds of paintings hanging on the wall. There was one to her right. It was a picture of a field of sun flowers. Two small children, a boy and a girl, running in the middle as they were playing tag. The sky was nice and blue. The clouds were only a few but nice and white.

He cocked his head and couldn't help but grin at her. "Assuming that you are as in love with your violine as I was with my motorcycle then that is a rather unsuble threat." He was actually rather liking this girl. At least she spoke her mind and was willing to talk. He had been afraid that he was going to get stuck with some creature from the seventh level of hell that wouldn't talk to him and had no opinion on anything.

The two men came back down stairs and with a nod at the two of them left the house. "Well gee, now we can be honest with each other and our feelings on this whole bleeding mess." He shifted slightly to a more comfortable position. "If you would like to go upstairs and take a look around please feel free but knowing my parents there is a single room with a single if somewhat large bed and a single bathroom with the shower." He sighed at that. His parents were so transparent at times.

Kara smiled at him. "I do love my violin. That's part of the reason why I decided not to rebel. Every word my father speaks is always serious," she stated. It was the truth. Her father's words were always serious and some times dripped with disdain. Her eyes gazed over to the stairs as he had brought it up. She had noticed the men coming down and leaving. She shook her head slightly. "No, that's okay. I'm sure I can find my way," Kara replied. She looked back to him. "Are your parents always like this with you? About the house and every thing?" she asked just out of curiosity. She minus well just get to know him. It's not like she has a choice.

"Well I managed to do in my motorcycle myself so that threat became rather moot." He lightly tapped his knee to indicate that was what happened to it. "About the house? I am rather just assuming about that but it is a reasonable assumption. They want me to marry who ever they chose for me and to sort of encourage that they would include only one bed and shower to make sure there is a fair amount of close contact between me and who ever they chose for me." That was more likely his father than his mother.

"To be honest I am not sure what else to say about this mess." He sighed and shrugged at her. What was there to say? He supposed that what was happening was something that the laws wouldn't really enforce but there were other ways of ensuring participation. "If you would like we can take a walk as well as sit here and natter at each other." He looked at her to see what she might say.

Kara made a short glance as his. "Oh, so that's what happened?.." she said though only meaning to say it to herself. A small sigh escaped her. "My parents are the same way but my father is usually against the same room and same bed kind of thing. My mother, however, is all for it.." Kara looked up to his face. "I'm not sure what to say about this either but a walk sure sounds nice right now," she answered to him. She brought up smile on her lips. "But it's your choice too."
