"Hello? Anyone else here?" Serise shouted, hopefully she would get someone other than Daniel. She touched the window, feeling the seems of swelled black sealant.

"It can be a pain sometimes." Daniel laughed a little. "But it's okay." He looked around. He felt one presence. It was brother Xavier. 'Come on..hurry up already..' He thought and looked to Yue again. She seemed so...he couldn't event think of a word to explain. Just..lonely.

Lance crawled out of his coffin. He had woken up a little late that day, not sure why just did. He got up, and got dressed in jeans and a collored shirt that he didn't even bother to button up all the way. He started out of the room, and up the stairs. Lance lived in the lower part of the house because that was what he prefered.

"You would think these people were afraid to look into a mirror," Paris said and shook her head as she giggled at the thought. She got up really close to one mirror and looked at the blonde hair girl with a small figure staring back at her.

"I see..." Daniel mumbled and leaned forward. "I'm sorry.." He said quietly. Families were a big thing, even to a vampire. Especially to a vampire. "May I ask..why you ran away?"

Sighing, she turned and walked out of the hallway, why were they here. Pacing in the room, she thought, this was not good. This all felt wrong. She had never been invited to anything. She didn't have any friends to speak of, no enemies either...why was she invited here?

She smiled sadly. "I never met my mom, she died in childbirth. When I was three years old my father decided he couldn't live any longer without her and he committed suicide. i got passed around from relative to relative. they got tired of me, I barely talked, barely did anything for them. They probably blamed the loss of my parents on me. I was tired, tired of them and of me I suppose. So I left."

Daniel nodded understandingly. "I..don't remember my parents..it's been so long..I don't even know what happened to them. My brothers might..but we don't talk on the subject that much. Our master picked us up and brought us here when he was touring around the countryside. I was only a boy back then.." He let out a small laugh. "Didn't trust him a bit and now..he's like a father to me."

He walked b the hall of mirrors, which was of course never used due to the fact that they all lacked reflections (with the exception of the one mirror in the house which held some magic, and would show the undead, but not the living)and was surprised to see that the door was open. He quickly put two and two together and concocted a lie. "Hello! whoever is in here, get out now! there's a nest of poisonous snakes in this room!" Were he still alive he would have entered the room, found the girl, and made some charming remark about how wonderful it was that an image as lovely as her reflection would be replicated to rival the stars above in number, but as it was he didn't want his lack of reflection to reveal his true nature just yet.

"Oh, please I have three older brothers who use to put live snakes in my bed at night, snakes don't scare me," Paris said as she walked out and walked up to him and smiled "Sorry, I'm Paris," she added.

"I guess..." Daniel mumbled. "On the bad side..I never get to see the light of day." That could be taken as in two ways. It could be taken literally or meant that he never left teh castle. "Everything I have is imported. It kinda sucks.."

Serise heard a small echo from somewhere else in the house, someone yelling. Wandering further, she ended up coming back down the stairs, but she must have taken a wrong turn, because she didn't come to the lobby, but the door to a back courtyard. Exited, she sighed. The air was cool and crisp. She curled a bit of hair behind her left ear, the right corner of her mouth twitching. She saw there was no flowers, she walked to the landscaping and sat in the grass. Maybe someone would find her if she was really that important. "Hah!" She laughed aloud, her, important. For a moment she felt sad and sank further into the grass, her legs settling on either side of her legs. "..."
