Welcome to Gaia! ::

She closed her hand and looked over at him and looked into his eyes there was no fear in them what so ever. "Truth is truth, vampires are what screw with nature, being immortal being dead and feeding off the living." she said then she walked away from him "And thats the truth," she added.
"Truth is truth, and that statement is far too narrow to qualify. First you must determine what it is to be natural in order to state conclusively what is un-natural" he plucked a book up a book from a shelf and opened it deftly "This particular dictionary says that it is being in accordance with or determined by nature. Now the burden is to disprove that vampires are neither in accordance nor determined by nature, The only real way to do this is to look at the origins of the vampire. In that case we shall go with a vague conglomeration of the most commonly accepted stories: a human interbred with a demon, or simply a demon came to earth and began to propagate through his own means. Well, that seems to dispel notions of vampires being natural, until of course you consider that nature it's self had to come from somewhere, and there had to be something there before, which would be demons and their holy counterparts to be sure, so demons are more natural than nature, as they came before it. Not to mention the fact that ancient tales tell of immortal beings existing before some great corruption brought about death. When you think about it that way, vampires are more natural than mortals." he paused and looked at her directly "Did that make any sense? I tend to lose people with the complexity of my explanations sometimes."
She had heard everything he said and understood it. Her hands balled into fists "Enough of your lies!" she yelled as she quickly turned around. She put her hands against his chest and pushed him back into a wall pinning him there. For a moment she stared into his eyes anger in her eyes. She then lowered her head and her long blonde hung down hiding her face, "Stop........just...stop....please." she said, you could hear she was crying.
He did not even twitch as she pinned him "Such pain has no place on a face so young." he said, smiling "But fear not little one, all pain is temporary. Close your eyes and breath deep, and time will extract the venom from your soul." his voice was soothing, mellow, and comforting. It was almost hypnotic, and the gentle sedative that had begun pumping into the room as soon as the doors had slammed shut further enhanced the crafted mood "Let the grief of sin and the pain of loss slide from your shoulders."
Paris suddenly felt strange like someone else was controling her body. She stopped crying and looked up at him, her body felt stiff as if she couldn't move much. She could feel her heart beat in her throat, it started to beat out in a pattern.
He continued in his soothing tone, embracing her as her arm dropped from his chest. He whispered in her ear, feeling he relax against him "Close your eyes and let me extract the venom from your soul."
She felt as if she had to do as he said, his words seemed to echo in her mind. She couldn't control herself, she slowly closed her eyes.
He brushed her hair gently away from her neck, and gently kissed right over her jugular vein. He waited a moment more, then sunk his fangs into her exposed vein, drinking deep of her sweet, troubled blood. He meanwhile pricked his own finger on a pin in his pocket, and placed it to her lips a a single, small bead of blood formed there. His mind brushed hers, intoning in the same cadence take it as my gift, and never agin fear death[/color
She let out a cry of pain when she felt his fangs pirced her skin. She licked the blood off the tip of his finger. She had heard his message in her mind.
AS she tasted his blood he couldn't help but smile. She had tasted the blood of an immortal,and her fate was sealed, when next she awoke, she would be a child of the night, in her own words, unnatural. He continued do drink deep of her sweet blood, and he supported her weight as she went limp with blood loss. He scooped her up and carried her out of the library, and into the room that he had prepared for her before she ad arrived. He laid her gently on the plush four-poster, positioning a pillow under her head before clasping a think shackle attached by a thin but strong gold chain to the wall around her wrist. Directly across from the bed, easily visible to her the moment she woke up, was a large mirror where she could study her new lack of reflection.
Paris after a while groaned and opened her eyes only to be staring up at the ceiling with her blurry vision. Her whole body felt sore for some reason. "Whe....where am I? And why do I feel like I've just been hit by a car?" she asked herself out loud. She slowly sat up and rubbed her eyes trying to get rid of the blurr. Then she noticed something on her wrist and then her vision cleared. She looked over at the mirror, there was something not right about it. Then it hit her, her reflection wasn't in it. She gasp in horror and covered her mouth keeping herself from screaming. 'No, don't tell me,' she thought in her mind.
Seth was seated near the foot of her bed. He looked up from the book he had been reading which he had brought from the library. "Is something wrong, my dear?"
Paris took her hand away from her mouth and looked over at him "What do you mean 'Something wrong'? There is more then 'something wrong'," she said to him and she wondered how he could be so claim. "I have no reflection," she added, she put her hands over her ears and shook her head as she closed her eyes.
He chuckle and looked back down at his book "Our kind usually don't you know. It's one of our main tells"
"Pft, I'm aware of that but how?" she asked glaring at him.
