She looked peaceful enough, nestling herself in a bit more, her black hair fell away from her neck and shoulders. Baring her alabaster flesh. (Geh, short.)

Lance jumped out of the coffin, and leaned down next to her. He touched his cold hand on her head. "Why are you sleeping in here?" He asked. Part of his ghoal was to wake her up, but if she didn't he wouldn't mind.

She twitched alittle from the cold, but generally woke up peacefully, looking at him with one eye peeking open. "Mm?" The other one opened soon after and she stretched out pointing her toes. "Morning..." Her straight hair was kind of messy from sleeping.

Lance lowered his head and laughed a little. "What are you doing sleeping on the floor in here?" He asked a little amused. He had never even heard her come into his room, which was expected.

Blushing, she sat up, "I felt safer in here. What time is it?" Trying to smooth her hair out. She got up and took her pillows and blanket. [I'm getting writer's block.]

"Okay now you most think I'm a nerd so I'm going to shut up now," she said and blinked twice as she read the spine of the book he was holding. "Ack! This is why I pefer not to talk to people I am just too weird! I just can't say nothing right! Too much time around my crazy grandma!" she said loudly more to herself then him as she put her hands over her ears and shook her head.

He chuckled. "Don't sell yourself so short! I like you, you've got spunk. Not to mention the fact that I have somewhat of a similar experience with the occult, and am thereby rendered incapable of judging you without hypocrisy."

"I guess so," she said and walked further into the room and stopped when she saw book laying out on the table that grabbed her attation. She walked up to it and wiped the dust off the front cover and she read the title out loud "The art of Killing a Vampire Slayer or Hunter?"

((I love your sig))

He was by her side in less than a second "Like I said, there were some nasty rumors spreading about lord Hangshire. As a matter of fact I've been looking for this particular volume, I've been meaning to put it on eBay."

Paris gasped and jumped as it seemed he appeared suddenly out of no where beside her. "You know your really starting to scare me," she said in a serious voice. She blinked and walked further into the libary then she heard the beating of wings and she looked up at the ceiling to see a single bat hanging from the ceiling. "Hmmm...... Single bat watch your back,.......Bats travel in groups of more then one but why is this bat out by itself, it can't hunt to well that way," Paris said softly to herself and she blinked before she looked back down to the floor thinking.

"Shoo! how did you get out?" he said to the bat, his brain working overtime to keep coming up with valid excuses "I don't know how he got out, that's my eldest brothers pet, though I have no idea how he got out of his cage."

"Thats odd, bats hardly make good pets and are wild by nature," Paris said turning back to him and she gave him a weird look. Paris looked back up at the ceiling and whistled a high pitch loudly, vampires like bats had super good hearing and a high pitch could easyly hurt their ears. The bat made a loud screech before it flew out of the libary and into the hall.

He winced internally, though the most obvious outward sign was a quick double-blink. "An interesting factiod: the Germas concocted a massive sound gun capable of killing anyone within 100 yards in about 30 seconds and causing major damage to anyone within 300 yards? I picked that up from one of these books around here..."

Paris looked at him like he was nuts. "Are you alright? Do you have senstive ears?" she asked and looked around the room.

A word to the wise:

He massaged one of his ears gently "Yes, all persons in my family have painfully acute hearing." His gas lighting scheme was coming together nicely.

She walked over to him getting really close to him "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt your ears," she said and she gave him a sweet smile.

He had to suppress his craving for her, it would not do to blow his cover now. Well, it wouldn't really hurt anything he supposed, but he was having more fun this way, and he still wanted to learn a bit more about this grandmother of hers. "not at all, I'm used to it, it is my cross ti bear."

"Alright," she said sweetly and walked back over to where she was and she spotted a book with the title "vampire" on its spine. "I wonder," she whispered and pulled off the shelf and opened it. The pages were yellowed with age but the writting on the pages were still in good enough condiation to read.

"We actually have one of the original manuscripts of the Grimm fairy tales, the condition is slightly less than perfect, but it's still easily legible, well, at least if you can read German it is." He was attempting to draw her atte tion away from the book she was now holding.
