Lance heard a few sounds coming from where he knew Serise was, but she seemed to be going up the stairs. At first he left her alone, and continued his work, but then he heard her come down, clearly carrying something. Lance got up from his seat, and walked out his room, and down the hall. He made it to the stairs, and the door to Serise's room. She wasn't around there, so Lance just stood there waiting for her to come back down the stairs.

Down she came with a mirror, about five feet tall and two feet across. She didn't notice him, walking into her room, she opened the armoire and hung the mirror. There, now... She walked to a vanity and sat, pulling out the hairbrush, she watched herself for a moment. Then looked at the ribbons and things in there, taking out a red ribbon, she tied her hair back and stared at her reflection.

Lance watched Serise carry the mirror. He could tell she hadn't noticed him. He walked in the room, and watched her for a bit. He didn't say anything. She really is pretty He thought, not a second after he hated himself for the very thought. He couldn't feel emotion for humans, so why for this girl? He walked up behind her, and looked at her reflection, he was standing right behind her, but there was no sign of that in the mirror, for he had no reflection.

Even though she was looking in the mirror, she didn't know he was there. No sign of him. Looking down into the drawer she took out a warm plum lipstick and opened it, applying it carefully, she played with the make-up to see if she could make herself look pretty. Or at least, not boring. a little heartened by how it looked, she got out blush and tried that out too. She laughed a little. Her skin was so pale she looked like a china doll. Wiping off the plum, she applied a deep crimson rivaling blood in hue. "Oooo." Laughing, she winked at herself. Soon she was looking for more things to try out. She took down her hair and put barrettes in it so it was out of her face, but fell in a sort of sweet manner, then she messed it up and made funny faces in the mirror. She looked like one of those movie vampire women. Red lipstick and sexy hair, she tried her best 'mysterious look', but soon her real mood caught up with her, and she sighed. Taking the gaudy hooker red that she had skipped over for the crimson, she wrote on the mirror.

Lance watched Serise for a while he didn't care if she knew he was there, but by the looks of things she didn't. He watched her wright on the mirror. He touched her on the shoulder, and said. "Sorry" He then let his hand off, and watched her again.

She jumped violently, startled. Turning, she nearly flipped the little padded stool she was on. "What are you doing in here?!" Her face turned a deeper color than the blush, she was mortified. She wiped her face clean and straitened her hair, letting it get in her face. "How long were you standing there?!" She was blushing so bad that even her ears were alittle red.

Lance would have laughed had he been in the mood to laugh. "Not long" He said, of course he had seen everything she was doing, but he figured saying that would be another mistake. "Besides you are very pretty" He said then almost wanted to take it back. It was almost like he wasn't even thinking anymore.

"You can if you want, but there really wouldn't be a reason. As I said, I'm not going to eat." She didn't take the bate. This girl was fickled. She didn't follow the stream like other girls would have. It sort of annoyed him.

Her face stayed the red akin to a tomato. "...I-i was jus' playing with the make-up..." The lipstick was smeared on her face still, she used the sleeve of her shirt, trying to get it off still. Completely embarrassed.

"Sorry to surprise should have let you know I was here sooner" He said he still wasn't thinking about what he said, he just sort of opened his mouth whenever a thought ran through his head. He wasn't sure why maybe it was because he need some sleep, or maybe it was because he felt bad about locking Serise up in this place.
