"There's different kinda of onions..?" He mumbled. He knew some looked different, but he thought an onion was an onion. Like an orange was an orange. He didn't understand the difference. But whatever.

[When love runs dry...]

She laughed. "Yes, there are lots of different kinds. It also depends on how they're cooked. But you probably don't care about that do you?"

[Other feelings start to fly...]
"Not really." Daniel mumbled and examined his cuticles. Why? No reason. He was just waiting for her to finish. The smell of the onions started to drift in the air though. Daniel, having a sensitive nose could smell it a lot better than Yue. He rubbed his eyes, but they started to burn. "Ah.."

she glanced up, noticing his burning eyes. "You can smell it from there?"

[Other feelings start to fly...]
Daniel nodded and looked down to the ground. He sniffed and blinked a few times. His eyes were starting to water. "Ugh..Now I remember why I don't like onions.." He mumbled.

She giggled at his expression, her face softening. "If you want I could stop."

[Other feelings start to fly...]
Daniel waved the thought off. "Go ahead and finish." He mumbled. "I'll wait in the dining room." He pointed to a door and started to walk toward it.

"no no that's okay. I'm done cutting them. As soon as they start cooking they lose the smell. Could you find me a frying pan please?"

[Other feelings start to fly...]
Daniel paused an nodded. "If I can see.." He mumbled to himself. His vision was rather blurry from his stinging eyes and tears. He blinked a few times then started toward a cabinet where he knew the frying pans were. He pulled one out, examined it then brought it over to her.

She smiled gratefully adding the chopped onions to some butter in the pan and putting it on the stove, lighting the fire beneath it.

Daniel couldn't be in the room anymore. "I'll be in the dining room.." He mumbled again and made his way over to the door. His eyes were starting to clear, but they still stung.

She nodded, grabbing a wooden spoon off the counter and stirring the onions slightly. "I'll be there in a few minutes when I won't have to watch these."

Daniel didn't say anything. He was already through the door. He looked at the long table. It had several chairs. More than the six of them could fill up. The table was a wondrous mahogany wood, shined so the chandelier's light reflected in it. He sat down in the head chair and let out a small sigh.

Lance just stared at her for a moment without saying anything. He couldn't let her out because the orders were not to let them leave. "Sorry I cant let you out" He said lowering his head. Lance liked the warm feeling of her skin it almost made him want to hold her completely.

Her face went blank, then she shrugged, "Like I said, can't really keep us inside during the day, you will all be asleep. Its nothing against you, Lance. But if I'm going to grow old here, or be here for any amount of time over a week, I'm going to need clothes, food and lots of other things to survive. This place is fine for a bunch of undead men, but not for human girls." She gave him a smile and squeezed his hand tenderly once more.
Lance just looked away without saying anything. He couldn't do anything to help her, they weren't allowed to leave, that was the rule. He wished he could, but he couldn't. He didn't want anything bad to happen to them, but it was too late now. Lance didn't look back at her, he just felt the warmth of her skin, and let his thoughts fade away, or he might say something he would regret.
As he looked away, she sighed and let her hand slip out of his. She knew he didn't want to hear that. But for all she knew, the Master could seal it with magic. So far she had gotten out once. Lance had simply brought her back in. She walked to the bed and opened Lance's book, sitting on the edge, she began to read.
