"Eh, not really." Daniel laughed and shoved his hands in his pockets. The night air was cool. Much cooler than the other nights. If it wasn't for the fact that he was already cold, he would have shivered a little. The boy took in a deep breath and slowly let it out. The scent of plants and blood mixed in his nostrils.

She laughed softly. "Probably because you've lived here most of your life according to you. You've grown tired of it. I can understand that."

Daniel nodded. Dead on. He looked at teh what looked to be a rose bush. All teh flowers seemed wilted. All except for one. He looked at it curiously. "Hm..." He hadn't seen any life back there in a while.
Lance wasn't sure what to do about her. He didn't want to scare her, but now there was nothing he could do about it. He was kind of hoping his brothers were having this much trouble, but maybe he was just the unlucky one. Lance walked down the stairs, and stood in front of her room.

She followed his gaze also noticing the flower. "Hmm? Beauty in even the darkest of places..." she murmured quietly.

"I guess..." Daniel mumbled and gently placed his fingers on it's stem. In that single moment, he snapped it. It broke and tilted to the side. Daniel pulled his hand away and looked at his fingers. One of them had been stabbed by a thorn and was now bleeding. A small smile appeared on his face and he started to suck on his finger.
It was quiet, no crying, but if he heard really good, he could hear her shakey breath. Her slate eyes bore into the door. He was still Lance, she kept telling herself, but he had fangs. That made everything different. She shivered, hopeing his didn't break the door in.
Lance just stood outside the door he could hear her breathing from outside the room. His fangs started to shrienk again because the smell of blood was gone now, of course he was sure her cut was still bleeding. Lance took a seat next to the stairs just outside the room, she would have to come out sooner or later. Lance was very patient, and didn't mind waiting.
She listened hard, but she had a human's pair of ears. Stareing at the down, she shifted to get comfortable, she couldn't hear him, but she knew he was out there. "No way, no bloody way. I'M NOT A TOY, LANCE!" Her voice cracked on his name.
Lance wasn't sure what she meant by that, but he knew she was scared, and there really was nothing he could do, but wait. He hear every sound she made, and every word she said so clearly it was almost like she was sitting right next to him. Lance could easily just walk into the room, but he thought it was better not to just yet.

She raised an eyebrow at his actions but said nothing. "Do you always do that when you get a wound? It's an interesting way of cleaning it..."

She curled up and closed her eyes, mumbling to herself, trying to chase away her fear, "Treat me like some sort of toy, not going to be his entertainment. Thought I made a friend..." Her eyes dulled, that was upsetting, she hadn't ever had friends. "UNNGH!" She punched the wall next to her and sucked her finger, ripping her sleeve hem off and tying it on her cut. "Good going, Serise. Just a blood bag, that's all. Still boring." She mumbled to herself, it made her forget there were at least three vampires in this castle. "Never going to be anymore than boring."
When Lance had first met Serise he did have an intention of killing her, but for some reason that faded away. He wasn't sure why he had never felt like that towards any human. Lance continued to listen to Serise. "I'm not going to kill you" He said of course chances were Serise couldn't hear him, after all she was only human.
Daniel paused and turned his head toward Yue. He pulled his finger out of his mouth. "Um..yeah, I do." He said and laughed a little. "Actually, it closes the wound pretty quickly..so it's a rather affective way.." He better stop talking now before he slipped up. He looked back to the broken stem. He hated living flowers for some reason.
She stood and walked over to get the book he wrote, taking it she crawled into the bed. It stayed closed and she hugged it, lying down under the covers, she stared at the wall, silently.

She cocked her head to the side. "Perhaps it's regret..."
